    Your thoughts?  https://deadline.com/2018/09/die-hard-6-title-mcclane-bruce-willis-origin-story-prequel-lorenzo-di-bonaventura-1202456391/

As a fan of the Die Hard series (I think the 1995 DHWAV was the best of the five) -  I have no idea how this concept works.  The entire premise of Die Hard was that John McClane was an ordinary NYPD detective caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.  He had no superhero-esque backstory.

He stopped being an ordinary human in the 4th one when he ramped a car into a helicopter off a toll booth.

So you’re saying Allen will be off the roster before the 2020 season ? The team moved up to draft him in the top ten and we don’t even know how many games he will start in 2018. Not giving Allen that time to show if he can be a franchise QB would be ridiculous. Considering he may not have an OL or a good WR until 2019, anything earlier would seem to be jumping the gun.

I don't think you quite got the intended message of that post.

Peterman was the Qb who was protected in the pre-season. He only had two drives against starting d’s. One TD and one Int. was the result. The plan was never to start Allen,  they made it look like Perterman was the logical choice, but it was never a fair competition by design. It will be much easier to play Allen if Perterman fails. But if they had started Allen and he struggled the pressure to pull him would have been immense, his development would be delayed.  If Peterman is able to succeed, it buys more time for Allen to absorb the process before facing the fire. But anyone who thinks that Peterman faced anything like Allen faced against Cinci is not being honest, the players and pressure was different and so was the play calling.

Im not saying I’m against Peterman starting, nor do I want him to fail. But I don’t think they ever wanted Allen starting this season, the proof is how they ran the pre season reps, during practice & during games. Maybe they know this O-line needs time to gel and hopefully Peterman buys them that time....

Interesting conspiracy theory but what about McCarron, why bring in a guy and pay him that much just to skew it a toward someone else?

    Soooo... over/under at 6.5???

From preseason where he's had a couple close calls with limited time I'd say that 2.5 is around a safe place to guess.

But things are different in the regular season and from what people have said here it seems his weakness might be worse in it. That being said he's got to know his problem and Daboll has to know it too. So it depends if they can clamp down on it he might keep his number low but if not it could be really terrible.

Of the 2.  Lets not ignore the entirety of the thread.

    It changes to a 50/50.

And many never wanted to see Nate start again.

Imo they chose who they wanted and not who won it.

I'd say that's somewhat true compounded on to the fact that no one really blew away the competition people got entrenched and started picking at each other's picks.

Reports are the Bills are teaching their receivers how to tackle without lowering their helmets.

I heard they were working with the DBs on how to break up passes.

Only if you picked Josh or AJ.

5% is the chances Trans gave Nate.

5%.  Only a select group thought that.

At the start of the season I thought AJ but as time went on and games played my vote went to Nate based on his effectiveness with the 1’s 2’s and 3’s.

Yes that was the specific number that Tranplant gave but on his poll only 23% seemed to think he'd start. Later on yeah things shifted but I'd bet Transplants 5% probably changed as things went on. I'll say I definitely wanted Allen to start and I know I have a bias too. But trying to look at evenly I thought Allen still had a shot but there was a good chance Peterman would get it that 3rd preseason game was all the excuse McDermot needed.

    Whatever you say, doctor!!!

I really hope he comes back and the Bills acknowledge their mistake. The later is the problem, as the hubris of McBeane will probably not fail.

I don't need to be a doctor I'm not diagnosing him. But if I see some dude crapping in his hand and writing on the walls I'm going to think something is wrong with him and not put him in a violent situation.

    From the Ravens app

Allen may eventually be the starter in Buffalo this season, but the Bills are avoiding having a rookie make his first career start in M&T Bank Stadium.

Per ESPN, the Ravens are 14-2 against rookie quarterbacks at home. Under Head Coach John Harbaugh, Baltimore has allowed four touchdowns to rookie signal-callers at M&T Bank Stadium while forcing 13 interceptions in 10 games.

The Bears' Mitchell Trubisky won in his first NFL road start in Baltimore last year, though he went 8-of-16 for 113 yards and a touchdown and fumbled twice.

Oh now it all makes sense it's cursed.

I'm just envisioning the Ravens defenders salivating right now.

Peterman's strength is all the pre-snap stuff and knowing where he wants to go with the ball.

I've never coached or played football at a real competitive level, but I'd guess there are going to be a number of plays where the Ravens give a man-coverage look pre-snap with the outside CB a good distance--maybe as much as 10 yards--off KB or Say or whoever he's defending to bait Peterman into committing to that throw before the snap. Then as the ball is snapped the DB gets the jump on that out-route the way we've seen so many times.

That's the start of game planning against him.

I really hope I'm wrong and Peterman throws 4 TDs and 0 picks, but honestly, what do you think the over/under is for Peterman Interceptions?

    Over/under 1.5?

    Over/under 2.5?

    Over/under 3.5?

I don't know he might get a full game this time.
