  1. Looking at the W/L columns, close to what I originally thought, although not quite the teams. I expected losses at Jets and against Miami,  but expected wins against Jags and NE. Giants game was my Tie game when I projected 11-5-1 for the season. I expected to split with the Jets and Phins, but thought we'd get 2 from NE and go 4-2 in the division. That being said, I still expect to go 4-2, so we will sweep the Phins and win the division.😁

As to where we end up, I still believe we can make the dance. The Philly and Dallas games will help me decide W/L. 😉

Mike evans has always seemed like he only runs deep routes no matter what the situation/opponent is doing lol I don’t think they’ll hold up in the trenches long enough for that

The interior got smoked in that game but nobody is as bad as saffold…him somehow weaseling his way onto the pro bowl roster then nobody picking him up in the offseason made me chuckle

Yeah, I don't get the Evan's hype. When I watch him, he just seems like a Glorified Gabe Davis to me. But, to each their own.

Saffold definitely did something to get the PB nod, but I don't think it had anything to do with his play.😱

I just don't understand why the #1 duty of all our TE's is to babysit poor OT blocking skills. Can we just replace Spencer and call it a day.  More quality teams can overhaul their OL in 1 or 2 seasons. Good Lord Sean, you're on year 6.

I don't disagree. I'm just calling it like I see it.😉. They did upgrade 2 spots, so I guess we have to give some credit there.🤏

  4. Meetings like this can actually turn out quite beneficial. I do these with my teams every year. Working for a worldwide company,  there can be a lot of change and from my chair and having so many people I'm responsible for, it's hard to get the true pulse of all of them. I typically launch the meeting and then turn it over to my team leaders. Then I work with my team leaders and work out a plan. Then we set a follow up meeting, present what we can do and explain reasons as to why other items may not be able to be changed. The key is the follow up and how it's handled. Obviously I can't fix/change everything, but in most cases, I can resolve a few of them. Getting them involved allows them to feel as part of the solution. It can be quite motivating. I would imagine it could be similar here. Some people/players may be hesitant to speak freely to who pays them but is willing to open up to their peers. It not like the entire team is a clusterf***. Slight improvement in a couple of spots could make a world of difference.

    Just my opinion. 🤷‍♂️

  5. On O, I am going with Shakir (Wish they would bring Isabella up and scrap the Harty project). With both Knox and Morris out I have a feeling Kincaid will be blocking more than catching (unfortunately). 😱

On D, I am sticking with Williams. He's getting experience and I truly believe it will start to pay off. Need to stop pulling him and let him take the bruises. 😁

If things continue to spiral downward, I think Diggs will implode and definitely want out after this season.  I don't think he is a McDermott fan.  We still don't know what happened at Mini Camp when he left for a day after talking w McDermott.

I am sure Diggs would love to play for an offensive minded head coach.  I am sure he likes Josh.  But he is a smart guy.  Been in the league for 9 years now.  He knows how offenses work.  You don't think he sees what KC has done w Andy Reid, Mahomes and Kelce.  He is our Kelce.  Josh is our Mahomes.  And the missing piece is.....

I don't get into the he said/she said stuff. Whatever people want to believe is on them. I think that whole thing was overblown and a bunch of garbage. OMG, he left for a day!! The world is coming to an end!! LOL!!

Diggs will be fine as long as we start winning again (which will start on Thursday 😉). I don't think he is a Diva like some others do. He's a smart guy and knows how good he is with Allen throwing the ball.

Lastly, It doesn't have to be an offensive minded HC. I think Diggs would be fine with an OC worthy of the job. I've lost faith that Dorsey is that guy. His boring play calls and hand me down playbook is the issue. After 1 1/2 years, you would think there would be some "Original" plays, not plays originally from Daboll...If your going to use Daboll's playbook,  at least use the Good Ones!! 😂

i like the idea of having an optional watch. i'd considered it last year when someone put it in themselves but i don't want to overdo the premise of this.

either way, a lot of solid opinions.

    Me too. Obviously. 😉

I was going to change my "Sell" to "Dump", but you responded too quickly.  🤣. I'll just leave it as is.

  8. Buy - Kincaid. Nothing stopping him now.😁

Hold - Oliver. (If he's back), I'm interested in how he does basically by himself. 😉

Sell - Harty. What a waste of money. Can't even gain a fraction on a penny stock! Wish Beane could sell him too and recoup the losses. Sometimes,  you just have to sell and hope to make it up somewhere else!!🤣

I'm adding to my watch list. I'd really like to see what Isabella could do here.I think he would be much better than Harty. 🤔

Sign him. Cut Poona Ford. Cut his ass right ***** now. Cut Settle while you are at it. And that tub of glue Beane seems obsessed with because he had one good season four years ago. Cut all ***** three. They were the biggest bag of useless I have ever seen on a football field on Sunday. And I watched Adolphus Washington try and play defensive tackle. Then ask Brandon Beane how many cap dollars he wasted on the three of them. Should be an interesting answer.

Holy Cow GB. Tell us how you really feel!🤣

  10. I've said it in the past. Josh seems to play better when he is at the line with 18 seconds or more. Allows him to time to see the D better.  He seems more in control of the O when this happens. Also, when your at 10 or less, the D knows it's getting snapped quickly. No time for Josh or Morse to adjust if needed. Allows the D to T off.

I also think Josh is a little better playing it more backyard or offscript. Dorsey’s play calling may be long or too structured. Plus he seems like a control freak. You can't control Josh or Diggs, you gotta just let them be themselves and let them play.

    Add CB and safety.

Yup. Saftey is on my list as well. Was peaking around and I wonder if maybe Lewis Cine ( Vikings) could be had at a bargain right now? Broke his leg last year, had a hammy issue earlier this season and hasn't been able to get on the field. May not move the needle now, but maybe an opportunity?🤔 Plus plays ST's. Right up McBean's alley.

We had already given up on him and look at him now. Former Bill, Zach Moss is 2nd in the NFL in rushing and just behind McCaffrey at #1. Whoda thunk it? Congrats Zach. Looks like you get the last laugh.

I guess you found the next Teller...🤣

The most concerning thing for me.  The announcers talked about how much time the team spent going over what plays to script early on, what plays they really liked and didn’t.  And the offense still looked terrible early on.  That is not good.

I thinks that's more of a general  statement. I believe most, if not all teams do this. It still falls on Dorsey as he is the OC. I wasn't a Dorsey hater, but I'm changing direction. Can't have these slow starts, it doesn't allow Josh to get into any kind of rythm and boggs down the whole team imo.

  14. I believe it is poor prep. If the first 15 or so plays are scripted,  it's on Dorsey to correct it. I wouldn't mind it if the first few plays weren't working,  let Josh call some to allow Dorsey time to adjust and communicate,  but I don't think a no huddle offense would be wise for a majority of the game.

The most annoying thing is the offense suddenly clicked into gear with fast, no huddle play in the fourth. Where was that for the rest of the game?

Is the offense being neutered to try and protect the defense? The best thing to do at the moment, if so, is to try and win shootouts.

I think Josh was calling those plays. Probably why they worked.😅
