Versatility on the OL is huge.  OL is pretty banged up unit league wide.  Guys that can play multiple spots are more coveted

It usually is. But you have Bates, Q and Ike as depth/backups that can all play various positions. I think this was the right pick. Lock down the RG position and use the others for versatility.

While reading more on Cybo (😉) he played LG in 2019 and has also practiced C (not in games though).

There's an old saying, Jack of all trades, master of none. We need a couple of masters.😁

Yeah and Add in the experience on playing with and blocking for an offscript extend play QB and realizing NOT to hold, Just that along Upgrades Saffold.  and Blocking for an Allen type, Mahomes Type, Lamar type is REALLY hard to keep from committing penalties. It will be so nice (hopefully) seeing Allen not have to deal with immediate pressure in his face again.

Right there with you. Plus, Allen is always better rolling to the right when he has to get out of the pocket. Put Knox on the right side and Kincaid on the left. OOOOWWWWEEE, I am ready to jump through a table! (Well, not literally.  At my age I may break a hip...)🤣🤣🤣

I think the OL is in a slight transition.  Last year their lack of POWER in the interior was evident.  Basic OL Build thinking your left side is your Finesse and move side, your Right is your Power Side (Historical thinking) So I think they are looking to get more power inside to deal with the Jones, Wilkins, Donalds.  Our Interior was pushed around ALOT last year.  That has was the issue with the OL.  And they are looking to address it.

Torrence can get better laterally once in a NFL weight room and change his body a bit.  I think he plays 10 lbs too heavy.

    This.👍

Considering he already dropped 17lbs for the combine and draft,  I'm not sure I want him to drop another 10lbs. (347 to 330...)

Do we take a flyer on Vorhees in the 6th if he's still there and let him rehab a year? I'm thinking by then who's really gonna help anyway why not completely upgrade your interior within two years. By then McGovern could battle Bates for center with Mitch most likely retiring. Cost control on the interior folks.

    I would if he's still there.😁

  5. Great writeup as always.

I do wonder if they are looking at pairing G & T? For instance Dawkins and McGovern are better at pass blocking and Brown and Torrence being better for run blocking. Then have a more athletic C to use for pulling (Morse/Bates)? Just thinking out loud here.🤔

I wouldn’t mind either. The mystery of Iosiovas is intriguing. I think Jarret is probably more of a speed slot than a future Diggs but if we get him that is what I will hope for lol

    Both are Feldman's freaks. For either a 5th or 6th round pick, take a swing at a wr. And I'm a D guy.😁

Going to feel extra long today and many on the list will be gone. A couple of role players that we could use

    Field stretching receiver:

Tyler Scott is the best player left for that role

    Andrei Iosiovas

    Trey Palmer

    Rakim Jarrett

    Xavier Smith

    Swing Tackle:

    Jaelyn Duncan

    Blake Freelan

    Trevor Reid

    Earl Bostick

    Carter Warren

    Run stuffing DT:

    Cameron Young

    Keondre Coburn

CB has the most potential starters left:

Kelee Ringo, Darius Rush, Terrell Smith, Clark Phillips, Jakorian Bennett, Kyu Blu Kelly, Eli Ricks, Slot corners: Trevous Hodges Tomlinson, keitrel clark

Honestly I would be ok with both of our remaining picks being CB, there is so much depth left there. Move Benford fully to safety. Top guys left could easily challenge Dane for CB3 if they fall to us

I really like Losivas and Jarrett.

Dare I say, Losivas would be great to fill Kumerow's position? (WR &ST's 😊)

And Jarrett could be a Diggs jr.😉

You hope for the best, but plan for the worst.  While I hope a real offseason and training camp is all he needs, I'm not going to gamble the season on that being the case.  Our schedule is brutal this year and unless we get better O-line play than we did last year, it's going to be a long season.

True. I'm not against it in any way. Who do you think will be available at OT we will be able to draft, say at 59, that as a rookie will be better than Brown as a 2/3 year starter?

So if he's the week 1 starter and by week 2, it's obvious he's not getting it done, then what?

And what if he is getting it done? I prefer to be positive. 😉

In case of emergency. Q, Doyle, Vandermark, Bates, Ike.

Personally,  I am still hoping for a Dalton Risner signing (😁),  but believe they will still sign someone in this draft cycle. Who and when still remains the question.

Are they willing to bet the health of the franchise player on him performing?  There has to be a contingency plan in place.  Otherwise, then what?  We just have to deal with a huge liability there for the season?

They can hope all they want, but it will become apparent pretty quickly once the season starts if this healing time and training camp we were told was all he needed is actually the case.

They have for two years already. Why not a 3rd? Especially seeing this may be the first real offseason he has had since he was drafted. 🤔
