Those are two good picks thrown away
Especially considering the strength of this Draft is from 20-65. So much good talent and starters there but I understand they had to do it to get their guy. Just can't believe after a year of work they decided to hitch their wagons and their careers on a guy who's never been good at any level.

What else can you do? I'm not going to get myself upset because my tea leaves say bad things are coming. Bills got their guy. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.
No one is saying he's "without fault". But NONE of the prospects were.
He wasnt my first choice, but here we are. You can cry about the pick, but I'm going to wait and see. Doesnt mean I dont have Beane on a short leash now.
You guys can go storm OBD with your tiki torches and pitch forks. Not sure what all the crying is going to get you other than fake points 2 years from now when you can post "I never liked him from the start!" (Sweet accomplishment, btw).
The blurb for Josh Allen yesterday was, "Not accurate and lacks anticipation..." Literally the two most important traits for a QB. Those are not flaws. Those are gigantic hazards.
And I can't just fake being happy and throwing the pom poms out now that we've taken the guy. Especially 12 hours later. Hope he makes me look like an idiot but I have history telling me he'll flame out.

Beane was adamant he wanted a QB who can play from the pocket and has accuracy and anticipation. Then he traded Tyrod Taylor who couldn't do any of those things. Then he traded up for Josh Allen who can't do any of these things.
I hope I'm dead wrong about him and he makes me eat my words. I would be the happiest Bills fan if he could do that but I can't see it.

You have absolutely no idea if he’s close or not. None.
LOL! This board was all against Allen until we made him our pick and now it's Russia Troll Farm claiming he's without fault.

I'm not a super fan, I've already said he wasnt my pick either. But you arent a pro talent evaluator, and neither am I. Nor do we have access to the info the pros have.
If all you're basing these absolute-as-fact statements on is watching some games, I take your analysis with a huge grain of salt. You're welcome to your opinion, but remember it's nothing more than that.
This is a message board for Bills fans where we discuss our opinions. Not a troll farm sponsored by OBD pumping out pro Josh Allen propaganda. Clearly we don't have as much info as the Bills do but how has that worked out for us in the past. We're one of the worst teams at evaluating talent especially at QB.
And we clearly just drafted a guy because of his size and potential and not any of his production or tape.

AJ McCarron completed just about 67% of his passes in college. Who needs context when you have raw numbers?!
Same with Mariota... and one thing I've noticed when I watch him is that he really isn't all that accurate.Oh dear God

How many workouts did you attend? How did you get Allen to come to your house for you to scout?
These responses from super fans are getting tiring. We just spent a year watching all of his games. No one is actively rooting for this kid to fail especially now he's a Bill.

Feel for Josh Allen tbh because he's in one of the worst positions to be in. We don't have any stellar offensive minds here in Buffalo, OL is a mess, worst skill positions in the league and no decent veteran presence ahead of him. He's a year away from being a year away but he's probably going to play this year and I just don't see how that helps him.
Also Daboll's system requires a QB who can make quick decisions and Josh Allen has slow eyes/processing.

Rosen is a silver spoon fed punk that would have been a cancer in our locker room. He has past riddled with injuries too. I was hoping for Mayfield. I am glad the Bills got 1 of the two they wanted (I believe if Mayfield was there at 4, they would have snatched him up)
Josh Allen has broken his collarbone twice, has five screws in it and missed games due to a shoulder injury.

We drafted the most MAGA QB we could've drafted

His tweets were removed from Twitter back in January. So someone (some team?) strategically save the tweets then revealed them less than 24 hours before the draft in order to try to hurt his draft stock. It was done strategically. Some team is hoping he falls so they can pick him. ...Seems like the sort of thing the Patriots might do!
Money's on the Cardinals lol
"Hey guys huddle up real quick. Let's leak some racist tweets from our future franchise QB so we can get him cheaper." The NFL is such a silly league lol

Oh, I so hope we draft Josh Allen, Bills fans have some type of psycho grudge against him, it will be great, Josh Allen is probably the best QB in the entire draft, the only question is about when he'll be ready, probably not till year 2.
There's not one fan base that likes him. It's only the size queens in NFL front offices who like the kid.

I think everyone may need to take a break and circle back around here in about 6 hours. The freaking out level on this board is unreal

there's no way Mayfield will be ok with sitting. he's going to drive Tyrod crazy. he's like an annoying little gnat. there's no way he doesn'st start this year
He's starting and will be stealing snaps from TT on Day 1 of Training Camp.

Bills want Darnold and obviously want to get to #2 to guarantee him being there but Giants are refusing three 1st's and multiple other picks to take Darren Sproles in heels lol.
I'm more than fine with Jets getting their choice between Darnold and Rosen and us getting the other for discounted price at #4.

Am I the only one excited for Mayfield's sh** eating grin when he walks on the podium before anyone else?
He's at home isn't he?

I know what I'd do.
It's a super deep running back class and they'll have several elite options available in round 2.
The same can't be said about the QB class.
Gettleman seems like an archaic NFL exec so let's hope he takes Barkley
