I’m guessing Dante Pettis, Fred Warner, Frank Ragnow, Rashaad Penny will all be Bills by the end of Draft Weekend

Rosen or Mayfield and I’m delighted

I really like Alabama CB Levi Wallace

Is any QB in the NFL not scheme dependent? I never understand that criticism.
Just draft cliches that don't mean much

When I watch Rashaan Evans on tape he's flying around so I'm confused at the lack of athletic ability

The thing that I really like about Baker and most great QB's have is his improvisation skills when the play breaks down. He'll sometimes bail on the pocket a little sooner rather than later but I've seen him multiple times take a step to the left or to the right or up, dink his shoulder and re-adjust. All the great ones do this and Mayfield is a master at it.

I hope this is true.
I think Mayfield has the it factor to be a really good QB. I think he's going to be a really good pro.
I hate talking like this but he's a culture changer. He immediately wins the locker room and the fans. If he was two inches taller he'd be consensus #1 pick.

because he played in a 1 read quick throw shotgun offense. in the senior bowl when they put him in a drop back pro style system he had 2 balls batted down out of like 7 throws total. it's definitely a concern of mine now.
I don't put any stock in Senior Bowl games but yeah they're going to have to move him around a bit in our new offense.

There's not a better fit for WNY and our fanbase than Baker Mayfield. First time he throws a 60 yard bomb for a TD and his celebration running the length of the field will be iconic.

For a short guy he hardly ever gets his ball batted down at the line unlike Rosen who surprisingly gets passes batted down a ton.

That guy for me is Sam Darnold. I’m trying so hard to talk myself into liking him.
Just watch his game tape v Penn State. Unreal!

Really starting to think Josh Rosen is going to drop on Draft Night and maybe we should wait before trading up.
Can't see the Giants taking him. Jets love Allen and Broncos love Mayfield.

Allen to Buffalo would ruin my draft night. I eventually would learn to accept it because I'll pull for anyone on the Bills but it would take me awhile.
Me too. I'd eventually talk myself into it because I'm a homer and a sucker but man it would be rough.

Except, ya know, success at the NFL level.
Yes. Lamar Jackson should've petitioned the NCAA and forced his way into the league earlier.
2 minutes ago, Royale with Cheese said:I can see that but also Beane specifically mentioned accuracy is important and that's where Allen is very inconsistent with.
He's also not a traditional QB like Beane and McDermott have been talking about. Like Mahomes, Allen first move is to bail out of the pocket. He does it all the time and it's maddening.
-
Everyone going on about Lamar Jackson being eliminated but if you want a drop back QB doesn't this eliminate Josh Allen. He can't wait to bail out of the pocket.

Lauletta edges it for me as he's a small school player coming straight out of Erie, PA

Josh Salem is aVERY well kept secret. Props to the Jets for keeping it that way. How did you find out?
skskskskss lol

A lot of smart people already knew that Mora and his fired coaching staff were the ones leaking that info about Rosen.
When you get fired you tend to harbor ill feelings and you don’t have much to protect.
-
It seems like everyone has positioned themselves to get their guy.
Browns are set on Darnold, Giants look like they like Chubb a lot. Jets have tried to keep it a secret but Josh Salem could be their guy. Broncos seem enamored with Mayfield.
Three trade possibilities: Browns at 4, Colts at 6(I think they stay and take Barkley and Bucs at 7. If Rosen gets past NYJ he could drop and we could get our guy for a cheaper price.
-
Browns: Darnold
Jets: Allen
Broncos: Mayfield
Maybe we can do the deal with Colts, Bucs or Niners to get #1 choice Josh Rosen
-
Josh Allen has missed games like Josh Rosen. Why is one considered brittle and the other a tough guy?
-
NDST Eason Stick will be the first QB taken into
-
I like that the OP think we still won’t have an extra pick in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th?

One of my favorite players in the Draft. Along with Mark Walton and Jaylen Samuels. I hope we can land one of them.

I could see him at pick 65 if we keep it.
What? He has little tread on that body as he shared time with Pumphrey
Peter King MMQB: 4/2/18.

Jackson has gotten better every year and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up better than a few of the top QB's. Unfortunately I don't see the Bills even viewing him as an option.
