This gives me hope. It's probably nothing but I'll choose to be optimistic and take it as a sign that McDermott not committing means changes are coming.

No Joe Bus, Burrow did not surpass Allen based on yesterday
Process replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall
Burrow is great. There is a reason bills and chiefs were Superbowl favorites all year. There is a reason that even after losing to the Bengals, they are the Superbowl favorites next year. It's not because the bills are a better team than the Bengals. There is still a large gap between Mahomes/Allen and everyone else. They are special and can do things no other QB can. Burrow is in a much better situation. Like, it's not even comparable to what Allen has. Much better coaching. Much better weapons. Much better o line. -
Saffold said guys were "exhausted" this week and "out of gas"
Process replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was more angry, throw a fit Allen. Not cocky, having fun, I'm your daddy Allen. -
$30M in cap for Dawkins Morse and Bates is absolutely brutal. They all will be (and should be) back as starters next year. Mostly because we have to replace Saffold and Brown and can't go replacing our entire line. But all three are also extremely average. We need 5 new lineman by 2024.

I do...it was a lot less disappointing. We have as many Superbowl appearances with McBeane as we did during the 17 year playoff drought.
-
Of course he's optimistic. He got a team to give him a $120M contract at 33 years old.

It's unbelievable how overrated home field advantage is. The one seed is important but it's because of the bye week. That's infinitely more important then home field.
-
Right, which is why I said we need an offensive HC. Mahomes Burrow and Lawrence will NEVER have this problem.
-
All the coaches. Sure, we can hire Reich. Him with Josh Allen would basically guarantee him a HC job after one season. And then were back looking for a OC next year. We need an offensive coach. Not happening though. Re Beane, I would need to know how much he is influenced by McDermott in his draft decisions. If McDermott is pulling the strings then I'd like to see him stick around.

Earlier in the year Josh was running guys over and getting up laughing in their face. We haven't seen that guy in a while. Something has been off with this team for two months now.- 310 replies

I’m over this defensive scheme. Bring in a new DC.

This is the most Leslie Frazier play call of all time. Absolutely disgusting. I can't believe what I am looking at. -
McBeane's constant use of premium draft picks on role players
Process replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
We shouldn't be spending 2nd round picks on rotational players that are here to keep the starters "fresh." AJ and bashams production could easily be replaced by day 3 picks. -
McBeane's constant use of premium draft picks on role players
Process replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's the thing.... McDermott doesn't elevate crap. For his defense to work, he needs a ten man rotation on the d line. And very specific and talented players at every other position. If we lose one or two guys, the entire defense falls apart and is complete garbage. -
Rousseau - 65% Epenesa - 43% Cook - 33% Basham - 31% I've said it before, but the d line philosophy is the worst thing about McDermott. Having to constantly invest into a ten man rotation. At the expense of the offense. It's killing this team. Add in the fact that McBeane clearly suck at evaluating d line talent and we have a complete disaster on our hands. Even if the guys we drafted didn't suck a**, they wouldn't play more than 65% of snaps. What are we doing spending first and second round picks on guys that will never be close to full time players? A pass catching RB in the second round? New rule...if McDermott is going to insist on a rotation on defense, he shouldnt be allowed to draft one before round 4, I don't care how big the need is.

Who are you rooting for next week? Cincy or KC?
Process replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
KC, preferably in a blowout -
Won by -50 instead of -17? I agree.

McBeane's investment in the D Line last five seasons
Process replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Chiefs are not a maybe. Chris Jones is a better d lineman than all of ours combined. Kelce plus one of the best o lines in the entire league. -
Franchise in trouble- Josh Allen has regressed
Process replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
Anyone who thinks this is a moron. IMO of course. -
Trent Murphy Star Lotulelei Mario Addison Quinton Jefferson Vernon Butler Von Miller Tim Settle Daquan Jones Jordan Phillips Shaq Lawson 1st round pick - Ed Oliver 1st round pick - Greg Rousseua 2nd round pick - AJ Epenesa 2nd round pick - Boogie Basham 3rd round pick - Harrison Phillips We didn't even sniff Burrow today. Manhandled and pushed 5 yards down the field every run play. One of the worst performances by a defensive line I've ever seen.

More premium picks on d lineman that can either be inactive or play 20% of snaps please
