Looks like Bills were looking to trade back from 60 but didn't want to go all the way to 72. Love watching behind the scenes draft footage.

Need to add a DE. I suspect that's where the $10M is going to go.

DE is still a big need, a don't think a 5th round rookie changes that. Last we saw Von he could barely move, and AJE has never been a starter.

O line is in great shape, we already have more than enough depth

Having a strong arm doesn't make you a great deep ball thrower.
Josh's deep ball is, at best, inconsistent .

It was a solid draft. A lot of emotional reactions because people expected us to double dip at WR. That was never happening. We added a lot of young promising depth which we needed.
I don't like S in Rd 2/RB in Rd 4, but can't hate on those picks too much as they were both areas of needs.

Yards or catches? I think Kincaid has 80 plus catches. Shakir probably leads in yards.
Thanks, I should clarify. Yards.

Kincaid and he gets over 1000.
Coleman right behind.
Kincaid will lead in targets for sure I think. Excited to see him in year 2.

Think you can make the case for any of them. Wouldn't be surprised to see us not have a 1,000 yard receiver this year. With two TEs, 3 RBs that are good pass catchers, and no clear #1 WR, that ball is going to get spread around.
I'll go with Shakir at 980 yards

A post-June 1 trade for a vet WR is still on the table.Beane stated very clearly in his press conference that a trade is not happening. Of course he could be lying, but I tent to believe him on this.

At this point none of the guys available are going to be difference makers. This guy, Robinson, OBJ, Chark, who cares. None of them would have a big impact.
Beane decided when he chose not to take a second WR that we are rolling with Coleman, Shakir, Samuel and Hollins.
Hamler is a small wildcard, there is some potential there if he can stay healthy.
Of course they could make a trade, but if you believe Beane, there is zero chance of that happening.

Hard to imagine this guy makes the team

Very likely. Who cares? The media ate this up because it adds to the "Chiefs own the Bills" storyline. But it's a complete nothingburger. Beane took what was the best deal for the bills, which is what he should do. Can't worry about who the chiefs may or may not take.

B. Solid, not spectacular. Don't have an issue with any individual pick, but as a general philosophy would like to see safety/RB taken later, CB/DE taken earlier.
Would have also liked to see them take a risk and move up in Rd 2 for Mitchell, or Rd 4 for Franklin.

Insane. His father was playing here just 5 years ago.

5th lowest odds according to the sports books. People on here continue to cry. Reality is they are still players for the Super Bowl
Oh boy
Of course they are.
I agree that we are in a mini rebuild. But I disagree with anyone that doesn't think we can win the Superbowl this year.
The team that takes the field Week 1 will be significantly better than the team that just took the Superbowl champions down to the wire.

I think Beane was very careful not to trade picks from next year. It seems like they are planning on next off season being when they go for it and make some bigger moves.
It's disappointing, but I still think it's a team that can compete for a Superbowl this year.

There are several others
Pittsburgh
Baltimore
Denver
Tennessee

I too am very surprised they haven't taken a CB but it shouldn't be too hard to find a vet backup in the summer. It's looking like it will be our biggest need next off-season, though.

16 sacks is wild

No idea who he is but depth at LB was a need.
Hate on this draft all you want but it just makes sense. Bills are filling in the roster with a bunch of young players, like they needed too, and have set themselves up with a boat load of picks next year as well. Got starters at WR, S and maybe C too.

All reports are extremely positive. Sounds like this guy will be a starter in the near future. Love the pick.
OL is in great shape with a very good starting unit and nice depth.

I'm surprised the Bills didn't just take Booker. DE is a pretty big need. I bet that's where the $10M in June goes.

This daughter seems new to the organization. Has she always been involved with the Bills? Before seeing her at a recent press conference I had never heard of her.
Seems like things are going to be messy going forward.
It's all very sad.
