If sportsbooks want to run ads fine, I just hate how much gambling has become a part of broadcasts. I don't care to hear what parlay Terry Bradshaw has cooked up in the pregame show, or for the announcers to give me the updated live odds throughout the game.

The point of the conversation is that the last guy is supposed to be legit and a franchise QB.
You can easily make the case that Baker is the 5th best QB in the NFL...
It's hard to answer your question without a clear definition of franchise QB. I don't believe Geno Smith is one, for example.

Wait he owns two teams in the same league? Kind of wild that's allowed.

Ugh such bull**** for that to happen in the last game of a magical playoff run for the Pacers. Awful.

Allen
Mahomes
Jackson
Burrow
I think you can swap 2 and 3, but to me 1 and 4 are clear.
My big takeaway from a lot of of QB rankings (not just the ones on here), is that Stroud continues to be highly overrated, and Baker underrated.

Don't know the details of the dispute and don't care. I read somewhere that no first round pick has ever had the language the bengals are looking for in their contract, and that's all you need to know.
Clown organization. Burrow vs Allen in the Superbowl will be fun in a few years after he is traded to the NFC.

There is absolutely no way you can look at the two stadiums and say with a straight face that there is not a large difference.
One looks like it was built in 2010 and the other looks like it was built in 2025.
Then there is the Browns new stadium - which is the ugliest stadium I think i’ve ever seen. But it does at least look like it is being built this decade.
Boy is it hideous though.
I looked at the two pictures several times and am having an extremely hard time identifying any significant difference between the two, besides the glass roof. Please explain to me how the Titans stadium is more modern looking than the Bills? Or is this just another disguised dome debate?
I am not a fan of the new Bills stadium because I think they should have built a dome. But for an open air it's perfectly fine.

37 pages on a graphic with some red and green arrows is impressive.
Keon was a solid player for us pre injury. He completely disappeared at the end of the year, but hopefully he gets back to early 2024 form now that he is healthy, and continues to develop.

These Pacers are special. Even if they don't win the series, this would still be a heck of a playoff run. These comebacks are insane. Never seen anything like this.

Was hoping this crap never happened.
Hope the Bills give them as little as possible, though I assume the producers will be allowed to get a bunch.
The Bills need no distractions this year, with maybe their best team in a while.
Hard Knocks is for teams coached by Rex Ryan, and the Bears, the Cowgirls, and the like.
Too bad.
It's really not that big of a deal

I'm with @rusty shackleford on the differences between Northtowns and Southtowns. I have family who live in both areas, so I frequent both.
IMO, the only problem with the Southtowns is the heavy snow. The solution to snowblowing as you age is to hire somebody to clear your driveway and sidewalk (if you have one). You can find almost all of the same shopping and dining options in the Southtowns as you can north of Buffalo. The village of Hamburg is very walkable.
The biggest problem with the Northtowns is the traffic. What good is having all kinds of options for shopping, dining, and entertainment within a 1-2 mile radius when it takes you 30-45 minutes to get there? Kenmore and Williamsville are both walkable villages, but you will still need to brave the traffic for most shopping and dining.
I've lived in the North towns my entire life. It doesn't take 30-45 minutes to get anywhere. That is an extreme exaggeration lol.

What will the 49ers record be? If you switched Fields for Purdy what would it be? Would it be more than a game different? Honestly, it might not be. That’s the exact problem with these mid QBs. If you don’t win 1 more game because you have them, why give them their 2nd contract? Draft a guy and you aren’t really worse. Sign Fields or Carr or Cousins or Wilson or whomever. It doesn’t matter. You either have a guy or you don’t. If you don’t, they are all the same just in different contracts.
What an absurd take. Purdy is not great but he is definitely getting you several more wins than Justin Fields.

It's crazy to call a week 1 matchup a must win. But considering the Bills and Ravens will most likely be competing for the #1 seed then getting the win opening night this year is very important.
Disagree that it's a must win even for the 1 seed. Our schedule at the moment looks so easy that even if we go 2-2 vs KC Cin Bal Phi, it's not unrealistic to think we can still finish 14-3.
Bal and KC have much tougher schedules.
-
Assuming we stay relatively healthy, there really is no excuse for not getting the 1 seed with this schedule. Everything is set up perfectly.

Man if we beat the Ravens week 1 we can really start to pull away in the race for the 1 seed. They have a much tougher early schedule.

Definitely a good chance that that game is meaningless for at least one of Buffalo or Philly

Ravens have the better overall team, but Bills have the better QB and also are much more likely to be the one seed, which should make them SB favorites IMO.
