Think: Trade down

Over 900 yards receiving one time in his career

1. I would hate this. A lot.
2. I don't believe the report.

Kirk is getting up there, and we don’t truly know how he’ll recover from this Achilles….so it’s not a terrible idea to have a young guy there (except Penix is old for a rook). People ridiculed GB for picking Love with Rogers there, but they’re looking mighty smart now
Very different situation than the one in GB

A lot of people here value what Allbright thinks. He thinks it's Franklin.

If Bills take Mitchell at 33 the feeling is going to be a lot different. A lot of people had Mitchell>Worthy. Will go from "why did the Bills give the Chiefs Worthy" to "why would the chiefs trade up and give up value to take a worse WR."

You don't trade down 5 spots if you love a guy. You take him.
They clearly did not think that highly of the guys that went 28-32.

Eagles Lions Colts Seahawks all got very good D players that fell
Giants and Bears made good smart picks
Broncos Chargers losers
Saying the Falcons are losers would be an understatement. People need to lose their jobs over that pick.

This makes a lot of sense. Hard to see them going WR at 33 but hope I'm wrong.
Trade down also seems very likely.

I'm not worked up at all. The only wrong thing the Bills could do tonight was draft a non-WR, although that nightmare is unfortunately still a possibility. As long as we still draft a WR at #33, we made the best possible move for sure.
Yup, exactly the point I was making in the OP.
As long we go WR with the pick, we are good.
Let's say the Bills like Mitchell, and took him at 28. Then it's extremely likely KC still gets Worthy, and Carolina still gets Leggette. So same exact outcome, except we don't get all the value we got from the trades.

Very puzzling to give up the 5th year of player control for what?
Could be a sign they will be looking to trade down again.

The dream is still very much alive. Draft two of these WRs in R2, likely with a medium trade up from #60:
Coleman
Franklin
Mitchell
McConkey
Polk
BPA at #95, perhaps with a small trade up to get a true 3rd round graded player.
Still very much alive. I'm waiting until we pick tomorrow before getting too worked up.

Well that was an interesting end to the night to say the least. Traded twice to teams that took WRs......
We now have 20 hours to discuss our first pick.
If the Bills simply like someone like Mitchell more, and take him at 33, I am fine with the trades, actually they would be nice moves.
If they traded picks that ended up being Worthy and Leggette and then take a freaking safety from Iowa, it's time to take the pitchforks out.
Who are your best remaining and who do you want them to pick?

As long as we take a WR I don't care about the trade. If we take a safety I'm starting the GoFundMe for the fire McBeane billboard.

I swear to god if we trade with KC who takes Worthy, and then take a DB from Iowa.........

Please tell me AZ needs a CB/S

Newton might be BPA for us. I wouldn’t hate it.
Drafting a backup to Ed Oliver who will play 30% of snaps . Id be sick .

Lions have to be going D. This is good for us.

If we get through these next two picks with no WR we are golden

Chop gone, nice!!

It's a WR. I'm happy.
