How about we fire you instead??

Sadly we have been informed we can not.  BUT the silver lining as already pointed out we get to see what a "genius" he really is.  Perhaps he really is a troll.....this is up to 8 pages.....

I mean they were the best 3rd down defense in football last year, this year they are struggling a bit (having been 1st through 5 weeks) so maybe it is not the same thing every damn year and linked the injuries, particularly in the secondary.

As for "getting torched" well, not really. They are still 12th best in yards and 6th best in points.

Oh Gunner - don't confuse them with FACTS!!!!

Tre was injured last year, we knew he was going at be out half the year,  that's on management/ coaching to account for it.  I agree with you on this...

One of our two 31 year old safties is injured.  Shocking.  You can NEVER predict injuries, oh and BTW they are BOTH injured!  I mean if you can do that prediction then hand over your crystal ball or better yet rent it out.

Edmunds hurt, he's a suspect player.  OK - I get it you are an Edmunds hater.  Kinda sorta pretty obviously proven how valuable he is to this D but your head is in the sand on that.  Thankfully the Bills coaches make these decisions.

Rousseau hurt but we have spent his many 1st and 2nd picks on DLine??  Ummmm kindly tell me the picks after Groot that went to the D-Line????  Just because they have drafted high doesn't guarantee they will be superstars.  Hell the Bills coulda drafted Rosen....think how happy you would be about that??  You proally wanted him too......

We went into the year planning to start Dane Jackson. We drafted Elam in the first. We went into the year with them planned as our starters, that's what we decided to do.  And Elam is hurt and I am guessing here JUST LIKE YOU  are that the Bills brain trust was hoping Tre would be back sooner and oh yeah the entirety of the D would be playing too.

I guess Allen should have stopped those pass plays too.

it’s a team sport and the D isn’t living up to their billing. That’s on coaching

Wow you and your hot take are getting creamed here.  I kindly suggest you simmer down, realize over 1/2 the starting D is out or severely hampered, we played a pretty darn good team, and STILL managed to win!!!!  JFC!!!

Buffalo had a chance make the SB last year. You were literally less than 30 13 seconds away.  As for the Chiefs they got killed in a SB because they were decimated on the O line. IMO the key beating the Chiefs is to limit Kelce.

I have a good friend who owns a liquor store (For real), and I just dropped $200 at her store for Thanksgiving libations.

We'll win every game remaining in the season.

    So what are we drinking???

  6. Seems to me the last time the Bills had rushing success was when FredEx was here and Shady,  I am guessing that the main issue is the RB's.  Not exactly like the Bills had some monster O-Line with Fred and Shady.  I was really hoping Kromer was going to make a big difference.  The Bills seem mildly obsessed with the athletic ability of their O-Line personnel.  Perhaps they just need some nasty road graders not pristine physical specimens who can run block worth a damn,

Bottom line.....some wins will salve the overall malaise that most TBD'ers.  I too expected much better after beating KC and Balt.  Sadly they are about where I would have thought before the season started but the loses were to different teams.

Will be interesting to see which Josh shows up on Ford Field This Sunday and next Thursday.

My point was McDermott started Peterman, despite, well, we all know how that turned out...

I totally did not get that as your POINT.  Totally did not.

per your words "McDermott's benching of superior talent to assert himself - see Nathan Peterman"

    - Maybe McDermott's and Jerry's ego got in the way of the team. Wouldn't be the first time for either of them (Jerry's personal foul calls, McDermott's benching of superior talent to assert himself - see Nathan Peterman)

Holy Jesus!!!  Superior Talent = Nathan Peterpick?????  YOU.  HAVE.  GOT.  TO.  BE.  KIDDING.  ME!!!!!

You lost what very little bit of credibility you don't have with that statement.  Step away from mommy's computer, go back downstairs and hide for 3 more months.

    HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edmunds also sucks, I have to say that.

Our expectations were built around a healthy Bills team and linear growth in Allen. As of this moment, neither seem to have played out as expected. This year we have Von Miller, who really is looking like the steal of free agency. At this time last year, we had Hyde, Poyer, White, and Levi Wallace as our starting secondary (Tauron Johnson as well if we call it perma Nickle). All 4 of members of our starting secondary are gone including our two captains/ Top 100 NFL Safeties, one of which will return. I want to argue that we are better positioned to defend the run this year but we have been gashed three straight weeks. Question mark offensive players like Gabe, Knox, and McKenzie, collectively, have not stepped up. Perhaps it's by design as Steph is all over the field, but I would rather spread the ball. We are struggling to establish a traditional ground game and when we do we don't stick with it. It seems like our defense is always in bend but not break mode, maybe even more so at the most critical moments.

Interesting this has been up 11 hours with NO responses......

So Edmunds sucks huh?  Did you happen to notice that while he was playing, the first half that the Bills only gave up miniscule rushing yards?  After he left the Minny running game took off!  Coincidence?  I think not.  Last week no Milano, Jets running game was running wild.  The Bills new D is predicated on Milano and Edmunds stopping the run and making the passing game harder for the opponents.

I am glad someone brought up the missing duo of Hyde/Poyer.  This IMHO is the biggest reason the Bills D is getting gashed.  The Bills have some long heavy thoughts as to how to fix this going forward.  Tre seems like he will never play with McD saying it might be physical it might be mental right now.  What the heck does that even mean?

No Edmunds does NOT suck.....thankfully people who know and understand football a little bit better than all of us on TBD are going to be making decisions moving forward regarding Edmunds.

Yes the D is currently decimated.

         No : Poyer

                 Hyde

                 Tre

                 Groot

And seemingly your whipping boy Edmunds.

Long season, lotta football left.  Bills need to remove head from arse, and yes I am looking at you Dorsey, Josh, Kromer, and McD.

    Go Bills

No matter what the Beane cult worshippers believe, he whiffed big time on Saffold (and resigning Bates).

Also I get that Beasely is done and wanted out of Buffalo anyway, but idea that a proven failure like McKenzie and/or injury prone player like Crowder were going to magically pick up that production is short sighted at best.

Knox extension also very questionable at this point.

With all that said yes this team is still 6-2 and the top seed in the AFC for the moment, but one more loss and the luster and potential of this season starts to diminish exponentially as does the misguided belief that Beane is some kind of genius.

Yer a real blast at the parties there aren't ya bub?

"I have seen a lot of players rehab from ACL injuries. I don’t want to say Tre’ White’s rehab was the best, but I haven’t seen better. I’m real proud of him."

Welp. I guess that puts THAT one to rest. Beane seems to disagree with all of the medical experts on this forum.

But but but they know EVERYTHING don't they?  Don't they?  They don't huh?

  13. Very chippy game.  Going in I was worried about the potential trap aspect.  Rogers had the team fired up.

Diggs did himself and the team no favors walking out with GB and getting into it with Alexandaire.  Not the way to go into this.

As Marv preached.  Don't be dumb, don't be dirty.  They were a little of both but still won.  Am I worried?  Nope.  Teaching moment.  As I said - VERY chippy game.  Hard and stoopid hits on BOTH sides.  Amazed more people were not injured.

Honestly the ONLY thing that worried me is Poyer not finishing the game.

The day games aren't much better.  LOL.  One of the reasons I wanted an indoor stadium downtown.  I'm too old for this college like environment.

Piss inside, piss outside - all the same.  As a previous poster said the PSL's will minimize, NOT eliminate this from happening.  My gawd some of those people were tailgating @ noon!!!  Of course some were falling asleep....they missed a good game.

    Davis, Knox, shakur, singletary, moss…

    Lets look at this reasonably.

Davis......rode the pine his first year, started to develop last year, now a starter.

Knox.....1st year struggles are WELL known 2 TD's.  He bottomed out a little bit his 2nd year, 3 TD's, had a great year last year, 9 TD's.....and doing so so this year.

Shakir.....well skippy of you think he is having a breakout year this year you have at it.  In REALITY he isn't.  He is being spoon fed the NFL like Sean always does.

    Singletary.....here are his stats 2019, 12 GP - 151 touches 775 yds, 2020 16GP - 156 touches 687 yds, 2021 17 GP 188 touches 870 yards

Moss.....he arrived in 2020 and was assigned to locker room of RB by committee.  He got several starts due to Singletary falling out of favor.

Bottom line - hopefully with the data above you can see the trend.  Avery player above was NOT given free reign as a rookie.

Oh and that game last nite.....that Cook kid?  He ain't too bad no???

Facts....they sux but they don't Avery lie.
