WGR AM show brought up an interesting point yesterday...historically thrwoing the long ball (touch, loft, accuracy) has not been one of Josh strenghts...a point I have made over the years as well..partly his fault, partly the WR issue...resulting the OC play-calling not having confidence in that play and talking himself out of it ??? flame on...

I have 2 words for that supposed weakness - John Brown

In order to better reply to the post, what kind of traits does Tony the Pony have?

(I don't watch as much NFL as I used to)

Annnnnnd I present Tony THE Pony

The keys to winning today ...

    1. Hold the Panthers to less than 200 yds rushing.

    2. FREE JOSH ALLEN AND HIS OFFENSE ... You have a Unicorn for a QB, don't use him like he's Tony the Pony. And I feel I'm stating the obvious here but, have Cook on the field on 3rd down IN THE 4TH QUARTER!!!

    FIFY

Also - blew my water thru my nose at Tony the Pony!  THAT was good!

I predict a 10-7 record with wins coming against Panthers, dolphins, Texans, Patriots, and Browns and Jets.

I wonder what it will take for a regime change. Imo, if we miss the playoffs (unlikely) or squeak in to go one and out, it will point to a need for McBeane to go and replaced with someone who can take advantage of the second half of  Allen's career

I agree with your though process, but I struggle to see who will fill the shoes of HC for the Bills?  Let alone GM?  Again - I agree with what you are saying, this is a fairly loaded Bills teams with some of the obvious holes we have all discussed but who is replacing them?

I would let BBB go first and then let the GM perhaps ride with McClappy for a season before canning the clapper.

I said it a while ago, but McDaniels seems like an outstanding coach when everything is working, but he has no clue how to stop the tailspin.

I would venture a very few select people can do that, stop the TailSpin.  The NFL and heck all sports have shown that to be true.

AAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL that cash they just threw into Tua too......wow and wow.

  6. As a former HS and College official (16 years) I can fully appreciate the disconnect between College and the NFL.  I personally know 2 NFL officials.  Those guys like the kids who play in the NFL are the cream of the crop.  Literally the best of the best.  There are very few who make the big show. One of the guys I know worked the Super Bowl.  He was soooooo good.  It was like breathing air to him, not only did the game play in slo-mo for him he had the personality to manage HUGE A-HOLE egos on the field.  He was an Ump when they worked behind the D-Line.  The college guys are a notch above the HS guys.  Thats not saying much.  As always in any group situation politics plays a huge part.  So you have good officials and bad ones too.  A major reason why so much doesn't get called at the college level that does in the NFL.

Everyone loves a conspiracy though, so we all tend to - me included - say "OH WE ARE GETTING SCREWED" by the officials.  I was in that camp firmly during the 1st half of the cheats game.  It all basically evens out, not always in every case but on the whole it evens out as far as the calls go.  As much as I hate to admit it when the yellow flies against the Bills and they show the replay 98 times outa a 100, it was the right call.  I remember my first D1 game - HOLY EFFING FAST BATMAN!!!  I just couldn't imagine an entire team of that against another entire team of that.

People do not appreciate how fast the game is and how hard it is to make those split-second calls.

Interesting take however @ToGoGo tech is a wonky thing.....

I see some similarities but Kamara is the more polished all-purpose RB. His receiving prowess stands out.

Career games: Kamara 118 Cook 52

    1,000 yards rushing: Kamara 0 Cook 2

    100yd rush games: Kamara 11 Cook 9

Rush TDs: Kamara 61 Cook 24

Receving TDs: Kamara 25 Cook 7

Avg Rush GM: Kamara 59 Cook 56.2

Avg Rec GM: Kamara 40.8 Cook 18.3

Avg Total Yds GM: 99.8 to 74.5

I am sure it has been said but I look at these numbers and the fact that Cook has what he has at 1/2 the games......I am thinking - barring injury - Cook will surpass Kamara in even more categories as he gets closer in # of games played

Rousseau is a very good player currently suffering from a bone bruise in his leg that he got late in the Ravens game (which he played pretty well in). I *guarantee* you that it’s affecting his performance. They tend to be very painful. They do heal, though.

THANK YOU!!  Everybody kvetching about Groot.  Take a chill pill people.  He will be fine - let's see how spry YOU are after YOU get an NFL bone bruise?  You cats would be in a chair for 2 months.....minimum.

I thought that too in the moment, but he had 9 carries for 38 yards. I felt like Hill was destroying us, but he went 5 for 49. His longest catch was 19 yards and he only had 13 YAC. Dalton Kincaid, in contrast, had more catches (6), yards (66), and YAC (43) on four fewer targets. For as frustrated as we all were at the defense, they kept the game in front of them for the most part.

The only reason we are having this discussion is because McDimWit and his clock management at the end of the 1st half of the fish game.  If he would have left well enough alone that trying TD would have NEVER been scored.

  9. So the thing that really kills me??

Without a single warmup throw, backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky entered the game cold on a third-and-7 opportunity and served up a cold-blooded, pinpoint pass to receiver Joshua Palmer for a 32-yard gain — and with Jets top cornerback Sauce Gardner in coverage, no less.

STONE COLD KILLAH!!! Looks like the Bllls staff made the right choice!
