The Rams will be good this year. Just not a top team. The Rams are not the best team in the league right now. Don't think they are close to it. I can think of 5-10 teams who would've beat them last night.

The Lambs WERE NOT a top team last year either.  As it usually always happens the ball bounced their way a few times and they ended up where they did.

This needs to stop, If we open up the draft day thread so many on here were absolutely horrified when we took Allen over Rosen. I would say 75% or more hated the pick and stated the exact same thing Collinsworth has said. He woke people up and made them into believers there is nothing wrong with making a mistake. So if we can forgive 75% + of the board we can forgive Collinsworth.

Sorry bro but no to CC....he is an ####### x10 and more....maybe even more.  Nope not gonna stop CC is a hole....nothing more and certainly less.

Honestly, I am more concerned about Cook. 1st NFL carry and he fumbled. I thought he would be featured a lot more, but threw himself in the dog house immediately which is not good in his case.

Agree to a point.....BUT he will be fine....in fact better than fine.....In 2 years yer gonna be a happy camper. Mark my words

How am I a ScottLaw pseudo guy?  Just because we have the same name?  Lol.  I rarely complain about this team.  Sorry that I dont like Moss I guess.  I think he has been forced on this offense since he got here and hasnt been very good.  Thats all.

Sorry - my bad.  Thot it was a pseudo account.  I agree to disagree....I kinda like Moss fumbles aside and think as the season goes on u might too.  We shall see.  Sorry for the diss....my bad.

Now that's how you ref a game

I'm starting to no longer wonder after every big play "wait....is it going to count?  Are there any flags?  Hold off on that celebration lets check if anyone a mile from the play breathed on someone wrong."

    Good work refs.

You let them play and called the obvious.

    We didn't notice you.

This makes for a superior product.

I thought the same thing.....a hold on is the play gonna count after each play?.....is there sum yellow on the field?  The Lambs yellow pants didn't help much!

    Go Bills!!!!

    > Bates struggled some but the rest of the OLine looked very good, and that includes Knox. Spencer Brown played a really controlled game and Morse still looks like he's 25. The yahoos that wanted the Bills to dump him for cap space this summer should all punch themselves in the junk.

    > Very nice 2nd half from Tremaine Edmunds. I wonder if having that DLine in front of him might get him fired up and really playing downhill

    > I wonder what week we'll get to see our new punter?

    > I've always thought Jalen Ramsey was overrated

The Morse comment?  Laughed my balls off while thinking of those whom are punching thiers!!!

The Tre comment?  Well the Tre-holes are coming for ya...not me tho!!!!

    Wait....we have a punter!??!?!?!?!?  No *****!

TRASH Raysbee?  Yeah he got it handed to him!!!

    Nice post brother!!!

    Go Bills!

Sorry but I disagree on Moss.  I think Moss is a bad back.  They keep forcing him on the field when Singletary is tearing it up.  Moss consistently puts this offense behind the sticks.  I dont even care about the fumble.  He gets the ball and goes nowhere with it.  Occassionally has an ok run and thats about it.

OK @ScottLaw pseudo guy.  It was hot out there....they mixed up a bit and yeah he did more than u wanna give him credit for but hey man u keep doing what yer doing since it seems to work so well for you......oi !!!

It’s still undeniable that Josh took hits that will be his undoing. We will turn him into Cam with these dumb exposed plays.

Not for nothing brother but this is a losing battle at best for you.  I agree.....less Josh runs but all the other stuff you spewed.....my gawd man.  Pick another team to set your abuse on please.  PLEASE!!!

Dunno how he does it but dang if this ain't true!!!

The team is being overhyped and overrated. I expect another regular season similar to last year which is fine. Winning record (11-6), likely division champs, but plenty of inconsistency especially from Allen. Factor in a weak OL and defense prone to struggle against quality QBs. The playoffs are wide open in the AFC. Bills vs. the field - bet the house on the field.

I bet you are a load of fun at parties.....

  9. without looking at anyones answer undeniably a pass.  Short gainer.

That and Josh wins the toss.

    Punt.

Just to give the Rams any chance of winning the game.

Plus we need to see Martin

I know right?  No preseason action at all.......man would that be the total eff you to the Rams or what????  Won't happen but that would be a HUGE FU!

He's the main one technique taking Star's role.  They usually list that player as the starter.  Plus, what exactly has Settle done so far in his career to earn the starting role on a rotating defensive line?

Call me crazy, which you will and I will not disagree, I thot Settle had a pretty good camp.  I am ALL about getting the best person in that slot.....if that is Jones then so be it.  Thanks for setting this old dude right!

I'm expecting controversial calls primarily P.I. s and roughing the passer. Holding shouldn't be too bad, maybe if Brown starts pile driving people. I'm willing to bet they will be all over any QB hits. I wanna see a hit like A.J. put on Tua. Gladly take 15 fer that. That was almost as good as Moats on Favre. You young people might wanna look that one up.

Love the "you young people" jab.....as an old guy THAT makes me feel young!!!

Remember the personal foul call against Vonn Miller when he faked giving hand to Josh to get up after the play?

The bigger question is how many times have they laughed and laughed and laughed about that call????  Proally quite a few!!!

I apologize for quoting myself but I wish I could react to a laughing emoji by TBBills.  What's funny about my OP?  What a wanker.

What a wanker indeed!!  Kidding dude....

Seriously though without reading all the posts after yours I really hope that some of the evil shots that Josh takes WHILE in the pocket are called.....when he is running the dude is fair game like it or not.  But behind the line when trying to make a pass and he is mugged - I expect at least 1/2 of the Brady/Rogers/Mahomey treatment.....it is only fair.

The refs do offseason training and certain rules get emphasized.  I think that will influence the flags far more than any hype about either of the two teams.

Without doing any crazy goggle searching anyone know what he "emphasis" calls are this season????  What has the No Fun League drawn up now???

How many college scouts do the bills have that see college games? Are they broken down by college conferences? Thry might have X assigned for ACC/AAC games. Y assigned fir big 10/ more dame/ UBS conference, Z assigned for SEC area games, and so on

i don’t read anything into this other than the scouts doing their job.

A freaking men to this ^^^^.  Don't read too much into anything especially this early in the season is my thought.  Much over thinking here...

i think they might have some lower level contract scouts they pay per game they cover.they would work just within a few hrs of where they live.  They have someon out odpf Salt Lake City who goes to utah and byu home games.  Someone in dc who goes to Maryland , Virginia, and some other local college games.  These people make a few hundred a game and has travel/ ticket costs covered

This is a job I would like.....having worked 15 years as a HS Football official and 5 years as a D2/3 official.....yeah this would be a dream PT job to say the least.

I’ve been playing coaching scouting for 30+ years… It’s semi like that

The bills aren’t paying 50 Scouts on a payroll… It generally really is that 10 or so

They have a couple western scouts, A few for the north east , and a few for the south east and west

The national scouts take the lead on the top 100 prospects or so … the BLESTO scout is usually the lowest ranking and doing the work on non seniors … Jr eligible players at pro days… the dirty work

The national scouting services share player evaluations between scouts So They can Always get a general scout consensus

This is cool info.....why I come to TBD!  Thanks for sharing.

I’m a musician and grew up in the era of ‘classic rock’, but can we please just move on? Enough already with these 70-something relic rock acts and this worn out 70’s music. If I never hear Hotel California or More Than a Feeling again I’m fine with it.

There are some definite no names in there, but there’s also a bunch of veteran NFL players on the color commentary.

I never want to get that Tom McCarthy and Tiki Barber combo to call the Bills game. Tiki is truly terrible.

    I thought Tiki stepped away??
