  1. I would use Clay to try and grab Forrest Lamp from the Chargers. LA needs to go for it with Rivers getting older. Clay would be the perfect rental and a guy who is already familiar with Anthony Lynn. Lamp continues to be buried on the depth chart and is an asset that would help us short term, but more long term. He's coming off an injury so there is risk, but I think it would be a good risk to take.

1st pic, you've got 2 receivers on the right, both off the LOS.  One needs to be on it.

In the 2nd pic, 3 on the left are all off the LOS; one needs to be on it.

In the 3rd, I'd say the problem is a bit different.  Not too many in the backfield, but rather I assume just an illegal formation.  Newhouse (who presumably is an eligible receiver on this play) & Benjamin are both on the LOS & one should be off for Newhouse to be eligible.

Yes on the third one I believe the problem is that Benjamin and Khari Lee are both on the line on the same side. The receiver can't cover up the tight end. So either Benjamin needed to be off the line, or Lee was lined up on the wrong side.

I also dont fully blame Hue for not knowing the kicker was hurt, I put more blame on the Browns organization and medical staff for not relaying this info to him (unless they did and he just ignored it). If the kicker never said anything to him and he was never told of an injury, how is he supposed to know?

I don't fully blame him, but in my opinion, the best coaches in this league are the ones who micromanage these things. Hue is kind of at blame if he was never infomred of this. He needs to have some sort of structure in place so this information is shared whether its a daily debrief or memo of some sort. There should be nothing that happens on the player personell side of his team that he does not know about. To me this means he doesn't have the right process in place.

I assume you know this is not the good Michael Bennett currently playing on the Eagles. He would not be a character fit, but we could definitely use him.

You're righ about Pastzor. He has started in this league and is well worth a tire kick.

Oh my...yeah I thought it was the good one. I thought he got released or something! Thanks.

No offence, but Gentry is the type of WR that was cut by this team (Reilly) and not good at all.  We need bigger/stronger WR's, not ones that have played with Allen.

Gentry is a footbll player through and through. Reilly is an athlete who did nearly nothing at Nebraska. I think they are completely differnt entities. Gentry is the guy making all those huge plays with Allen on those highlight films, while Reilly caught something like 67 balls during his entire college career. Gentry caught 72 passes 1,326 yards and 14 TDs his senior year.

I don't think these are contradictory.  Groy might be a decent center in a different scheme and playing between different guards.

The year he replaced Wood he was playing in Kromer's scheme between Cog and (I think) Miller.

The all-22 hasn't come out on Gamepass yet, but one thing I noticed in Week 1 is that he simply wasn't fast and nimble enough to make the moves required of him and re-set before he lost leverage on the Ravens defenders.  I'm not sure who is at fault, but there were a couple plays where it looked like Ducasse and Groy were getting their feet tangled.

When Daboll was asking the OL to stay home and just handle the dude in front of them, it worked better.

I agree on the assessment of Groy. He just isn't a natural center. The guy is a guard. Everything he does look s stiff and unnatural. I wouldn't be against trying Bodine there with Groy at guard simply because Bodine has the experience. Is it going to better? Maybe, but to my eye Groy has not looked good. Bodine has natural center movements but is susceptible to the bull rush. Something has to give but I'd like to see what Dawkins-Teller-Bodine-Groy-Mills looks like.
