That situation is only to have playoffs clinched before Miami game.

In order yo get into the playoffs at all, Bills just need to win their last three games and have any ONE of these teams lose ONE game.

    IND, CIN, HOU, JAX, MIA.

If any of those teams lose 1 game, Bills get in by winning out.

That's great but I'll bet my life Miami drops at least one and Bills get in by winning out by means of division so that is kind of a null scenario in my planning.

I'm kind of obsessed with looking at the clinch while we lose to Miami scenario.

To be honest, I think we will win there. We travel well to South Beach and can't see that oline stopping us.

    Just checking the schedules...

Cincy has Steelers and Chiefs (no way they lose to the steelers)

Jax - Bucs and Panthers (erm, nope)

Houston - Titans and Browns (okay, I can see this possibly happening)

Indy - Falcons and Raiders (nope)

The main hope there, and it's clutching at straws, is the Steelers playing great defensive game against Cincy and doing just enough offensively to beat them on a FG at the end or in OT. Although the way things are in the league, even if that happened they'd probably beat the Chiefs. Then the Texans having a late season collapse to the Titans who can play anyone tough but also get blown out just as easily, then going down to the Browns.

Meh, it's really just easier for the Bills the win all their games and hope Miami lose one of their next 2

Keep in mind that's to have it clinched going into final week.  The reality is we need 2 of those teams to go 1-2 down stretch. I don't think it's accurate w south division winner included, so one of those south teams won't factor.

    A few games of note:

    Week 16

    Jags @ Bucs

    Indy @ Hotlanta

Atlanta is 4-3 at home and still playing for playoffs. Bucs very tough at home in FL grudge match still shooting for division. Lawrence in Protocol.

    Week 17

    Raiders @ Colts

Gotta think this Raider team is going to be a rough out. Playing for coach.

    Week 18

    Broncos @ Raiders

Same. Love Raiders here in New black hole.

Also ...rooting for Titans, Jets, and likely conceded a spot to Browns. So rooting for them too.

People are talking about the weather as if it’s going to an extreme weather day.  There’s going to be rain and a little bit of wind.  50 degrees.  PLEASE!

Big deal!  That’s typical for most December games in the NE.

Weather will not impact on the game for either side, though Dallas seems to spending a ton of time thinking about it, so hopefully they outthink themselves

Yeah I disagree. Cowboys are a dome team w tons of timing based plays/ routes. They are not a strong running team and don't stop the run great. It will effect them enough to be a factor. 45 degrees and rainy is not fun.

  4. Yeah can't stand Harbaugh and Ravens. Would not love for Jackson to "surpass" Allen by making it to the bowl.

So the NFL wants to "sell" football but then they don't want to show a replay of a hit because they deem it too violent it seems.
Who are they trying to fool?

They did eventually show the replay and guy did pull down. Impact occured on back shoulder and his back! Should not have been an ejection.

Basically you can't make a big hit in today's NFL. Not sure what someone is supposed to do with someone coming full speed at them

Ok so I know you can only play your schedule

but do you feel the cowboys are a little overhyped given whom they played ?

nfc East outside of Philly which we played (lost in OT in Philly) - is really weak

they then played Carolina and actually lost to the cards terribly

watched that Seattle game and - sheesh they got flag after flag on drives they needed - Seattle scored at will despite penalties against them with geno smith

I’ve seen this play before and just feel that the cowboys record isn’t all that impressive to me.

crushed by Philly in Philly - had the benefit this last time around becuase we best Philly up and the 9ers did

i don’t see one game on their schedule in a hostile environment and against an opponent like Josh Allen and the bills - am  I right?

I tend to agree. I mean Cowboys are always over hyped and talent is often overrated. That's like an NFL rule.

Let's face it, great win versus Philly but the series is usually a split. They've been avg .500 on the road. They have given up a healthy amount of sacks, they can't really run well, and they are avg stopping the run. Not great recipe to win in December in colder climes. They've never played great in December w cold. They've faced some godawful QBs, lost to the good ones, and the tougher games are on the horizon.

Dak is playing great, but historically he can make mistakes. He's not the strongest armed guy either so not necessarily a great cold weather/ conditions kind of QB.

This is not the kind of team that gives us fits. Usually that is your Bengals, 49rr or Colts of the world, teams that can smash you on offense and play physical. This is more of a finesse team. Lots of rhythm stuff.

The Bills FUBARed it against 4 inferior teams and one that was better. They should have had those in hand as House $ for the Division.

    THEY DID NOT!

Now, if they ARE really a strong AFC Championship, they must win out! The BIG game upcoming against the arguably equal- better Cowgirls, plus no let up off the gas for the next two stiffs and finishing with a Mammal dinner!

Sucks to be the Bills in their situation, but this was ALL on them and their management to be here at this time in the season!

My take is we don't have to win out. If we lose to Cowboys, we absolutely need to win out from there. I prefer to win out. I like the team's mojo right now.

Your right we made mistakes, but the season will tell us who deserves what. Miami got murdered by us and blew a 2 score win w 2:30 left. They've got a knife fight each week ahead of them, and that includes the Jets.

  7. I like Dak and I like the Cowboys. They are a strange team historically though, and apt to either blow out bad teams or blow games in billsy style with turnovers and mistakes. Very similar to us in many ways.

We've been competitive against recent incarnations of this team and Dak. Beating them in Dallas 4 years ago.

Dallas is not a great road team, and this will be a tough road game.

To be frank, it would be "unlike the Cowboys" to come up here, one of the toughest road environments, in December against a very good team and win.

Both teams are coming off big wins, but the Bills are far more desperate, playing for playoffs lives, rather than optimal seeding.

The weather will be cold, but not too cold. No ice bowl on Sunday, but enough coupled w Billsmafia to be a factor. Keep in mind it's tough to come in here in September and win....Bills are a very good home team.

So I favor the Bills w most of the intangibles.

I like our ability to get the ball to our TEs quick and work Cook to mitigate some of the man to man strengths. Our D is angular and fast....we match good against them, which will slow them down enough and I'm thinking Dak and crew may make some mistakes.

I think it will s a pretty even matchup, where the intangibles and homefield will give us the W.
