Isn't that what Jason Peters did?
Yes, but WE did that conversion here.

We got KJ Hamler....we are good

Well they said he converted from TE when he xferred from Jax.

He was one of the best RBs in the SEC. Good pick ...again another guy who killed my Gators.

I like Rapp, but he's kinda a guy. Bishop could be a future all pro. Just a gut feeling.

Stud....this is a great pick. I remember him from Utah FL games ....killed us.

He's a 50 catch 7 TD kind of guy at best.

I feel like Tom Donohoe took over Beane's mind.

Penix is the worst pick IMO, but Nabers is next. Luxury pick for a team w bigger needs. Whole staff going to be canned in 1-2 years.
-
Nabers will touch the ball 5 times per game. You need a QB or every down player, an WRs have some of the highest bust rate and learning curve of all.
Dumb pick G men.

Glad they took Maye... terrible vibes from that kid.

Did anyone see the nice / endearing piece on NFL about Adonai Mitchell and him transferring for his daughter?
My first thought: Buffalo is going to be a problem.
I'd cross him off our boards.
Did you see the piece? He transferred from GA to Texas because he was missing his daughter. Does not sound like he is w the mother and I doubt she will move.

I think things need to happen to Jordan every 2-3 years that shocks him into playing with a chip on his shoulder.
Man, though, guy just cannot stay healthy.
-
Hate the move on so many levels.
Houston is going to be a div rival! You just made the path to the super bowl harder.
Wtf!

Memory lane. This was a good draft talent wise. Given who was in there and available, a huge bust draft for the Bills.
Ngata stands out as a legendary whiff.
This was the hey dey of my draft years. Wow those cheesy ESPN intros and clips of Reggie Bush walking down a fashion show runway. All the heavyweights - Berman, Mort, Mel were there and on the back 9 of their prime.
I thought it was a decent draft for us, but not players I readily liked. I was shouting for Ngata.
Given that a lot of folks had players miscalculated in 06. The names Winston Justice...Kiwanuka....Bunkley ...so many fizzles in this draft, but so many big players as well .

I wish guys were accountable. Couple of those plays happened right in front of Po. I'd probably say I wish I could have made a play and take accountability for it.
Granted, I don't think it was Po's fault, but that's what leaders do.

Diggs is a pain in the butt. Kinda sick of his BS, especially if he's going to play like he did down the stretch.

Simmons is one of the best safeties in the NFL. Everyone would love him, but I just can't see Beane giving out that kind of contract.
The whole reason they cut Jordan Poyer was to get younger and cheaper. He's only 2 years younger and would definitely be more expensive.
I'm starting to get the same vibes about the Free Safety position as the Bills gave last year about Middle Linebacker.
We passed on everyone in Free Agency. Waited until the 3rd Round of the Draft. Everyone was in total panic mode going into the season.
Then Terrell Bernard played like a superstar and Tyrell Dodson was a solid backup.
Don't forget. This regime found Poyer and Micah Hyde in the bargain bin. Both were backups on their previous teams.
I think it's fair to question how well this team knows some positions (O-Line, D-Line, Wide Receiver), because they don't necessarily have the best track record of finding untapped talent and developing it. But it's the complete opposite in the secondary. This team has a fantastic track record at both cornerback and safety.
I also think people are totally sleeping on Damar Hamlin. He did a great job filling in for Hyde during the 2022 season.
There was a lot that went into him being inactive most weeks. He was less than 12 months from a horrific physical trauma that devastated his body. Thanks to Taylor Rapp, the Bills really didn't need him. With another offseason to rehab and train, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets back to his previous form.
I'm not saying I disagree w all of your bottom line, but the whole reason we are moving on from Hyde/ Poyer is not just to get younger.
It's because these guy's play has drastically declined and they make too much money for the production.
BTW thought Poyer was a gem find, but Hyde was already a Pro Bowl level player when we got him.

I said nowhere that I only want big name guys. I just said I'm sick and tired of stacking WR3s instead of actually drafting and developing one - something you accused me of not wanting to do. You agreed with about half of what I said so it couldnt be THAT bad of a take 🤝
We did draft and develop Hodgins. He was pilfered off our PS by the coach who drafted him.
Not fully sure why he's not being tendered but he's still a developmental player.

Nooooooo. Why are we always obsessed with underachieving former WRs like Hodgins, McKenzie, Robert foster, Kumerow, duke williams. We do NOT need guys like Hodgins. We bring him in to do what, take snaps away from an actual promising guy like Shakir? I’m happy our collective fanbase agreed (mostly) that Gabe should walk for the $$, we’re getting smarter. We do not need a collection of WR3’s. At this point if beane can’t swing for a Hollywood brown or a M Williams then it’s the draft and it better be a rd 1 pick or I’ll feel helpless. No more settling for depth wrs for Josh. Were neglecting it.
This is such a a bad take. It's like only big name players like TO or nothing.
Player development is a thing. Guys emerge from PS or low draft picks to become solid players.
Hodgins has been injured. He has trouble staying healthy, but lots of solid flashes. He's closer to Stevie Johnson than he is Duke Williams.
I like the player and think he would be a decent option to come into a camp and fight for a roster spot. He's a solid vet.

Sal was also knife fight hill to die on adamant last year that Dorian Williams would not be looked at as a will. He was wrong there.
