NFL to Have Vote That Would Alter Playoff Seeding
ColoradoBills replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't like it. Teams having to play their division teams twice along with the luck of the draw playing the other divisions every year makes the math skewed so much that the re-seeding will ALWAYS have issues. Either have divisions (and the winners mean something) or get rid of the all the divisions and just go with just a conference. -
Some people want to live there.

20% of Quinton's career receptions came in the final NE game last year. Morris has never been in a starting role so I wouldn't attempt to compare the two. Nothing against QM but the Bills seem to now have 3 entirely different skilled TEs going into the season. It's going to be interesting to see how Brady uses them.

Buffalo Bills 2025 Regular Season Schedule
ColoradoBills replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like the schedule overall. IF I could change anything it would be having the bye week a couple of weeks later. The home crowd sure has some great games to watch this season! -
That is a very good description of his career in Buffalo. I was a big Gabe fan, and I still like him, but he just never could get the consistency he needed to be a weapon.
-
Hard to tell. These threads always revert back to the same old story. The way I see it, Gabe Davis, if he was to return to the Bills this season, wouldn't move the needle forward regarding the offense.

Hawes at 6'5" which is much bigger than Morris at 6'2". Hawes (if he adds a few pounds) will be close to Alec Anderson size. I see Anderson moving to LG soon, possibly C. I don't think Beane can re-sign both Edwards and McGovern. Camp ought to give us an idea what they are thinking, but that's my guess.
-
All that will be addressed at the end of summer. Right now, Beane needs to get the 90 signed.
-
It's fixed. $2.25M left with rookies Hairston, Sanders and Walker to sign. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/_/year/2025/sort/cap_total_top51/dir/desc

Beane elaborates on the process of picking Josh Allen
ColoradoBills replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let's remember it's not only drafting Josh Allen it his development too. Josh going to Cleveland could have been a completely different result. -
We'll see. It should be interesting at DT.

Pushing more Knox money till next year is not a good idea to me. Dawkins OR a June 1st cut for DQ Jones is my guess.

Football has been very good to the Carr family. After investing over half of your income for all these years they have to be sitting pretty, pretty, pretty good.
-
This happens all the time. They are working the database for the Bills. Every player right now is being counted twice. They will have it fixed in a few hours. Tomorrow for sure. I laughed this morning when I saw 168 players signed! As for the cap. the Bills are tight getting the rookie signed. Beane is going to have to make a small move soon IMO.

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
ColoradoBills replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brady is key to making this "everybody eats" a true weapon this season. My hope is a very balanced attack that puts defenses on their heals having to react to a lot of variables. The 5 prominent WRs are all capable of 500-600 yards and a couple can get you 800. Add the TEs and RBs and it easily gives Josh 4000+ yards. The offense as a whole could lessen Josh's need to carry the team. Many on this board are concerned about no having a "go to" clutch player for the 4th and 10s but the mere fact that any of the players having a chance to get the call could in itself be a unique weapon. I for one am intrigued with this offense and look forward with anticipation to what Brady and Allen can do with it. -
Elijah Moore Visiting the Bills today (Update: Signed!)
ColoradoBills replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's a great deal. -
There was a veteran package deal? I want to know more about this.

Other teams may offer Gabe more than vet minimum. He can decide where to go. He may want a team that can offer a higher snap count. I'm sure anywhere he signs will have incentives included.
-
Agree. Let's not go back to that. He doesn't not fit into Brady's scheme. Plus, one of the main reasons Josh's INTs went down was because of Davis leaving.
-
That's how my dad went to the games too. I wish I would have kept his fedoras.
-
Maybe his mind was on something else. Ha.

$7.5M in dead cap with 3 years left. They would at least bring him to camp.
-
"football decision". LOL.

The Battle for Jobs at Safety and Corner.
ColoradoBills replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
It would not surprise me at all if one of the "bubble" players end up on the IR with a hamstring (or something similar) to start the season.
