  1. They can't dress 9 DLs. The have to go with the 5 healthy DEs and some will have to substitute in at DT. Miami doesn't have a bruiser back like the Titans, so I see no problem with that. That means (if Settle is a go) they only need to call up one for DT. I've said this before (and no one really commented about it) a team can only call up the PS guys 3 times in a season. Whoever gets the nod will have been used twice already!! It's an important divisional game so I would go with Bryant.
  2. Diggs on the offense until it's proven someone can stop him. This might be a game where Von takes 70% of the snaps. I have to go with him on the D. Diggs and Von. Keep it simple stupid!
  3. It takes a team. It's going to be a big gut check for the guys who are needed to step up. Offense needs to play good ball.
  4. The Buffalo Bills fans don't need to worry about that. Sean McDermott, Leslie Frazier and the rest of the staff get paid for doing it. They are pretty, pretty good at it. If their planned scheme is lacking in one area, I'm sure they will have a "plan B" to minimize the effects. This happens every game. Have you noticed that a lot of teams do relatively well on their first drive against the Bills? It takes some plays for a defense to decipher what the offense is attempting to do. Once the kickoff happens, we all will see how it unfolds. The injuries are here, and we will see what the staff has planned. I'm going to just add what I read from 100s of posts last week. How are the Bills going to stop Henry? Well, they did to the tune of 1.9 yards per carry.
  5. It's all speculation until we get more info. Micah has been seen in the building every day so it's not like he's flying to the AO Foundation in Switzerland.
  6. That's debatable. You got your opinion.
  7. For me, they don't need to "severely" limit the Dolphins, just play well. I don't like giving scores as it has so much to do with how the game unfolds BUT if a gun was to my head, I'd say the over under on the D playing well with these injuries is 24-27 points.
  8. That's why Josh is their Daddy!
  9. He has already said he's 100% playing. If he feels ready, and the trainers, doctors and staff agree, then I guess he'll play.
  10. That was a clip from yesterday. I think he will be more of a game time decision. It's 3 days from what we are seeing.
  11. I agree. Miami tends to play mostly man to man. It would seem that this is one time to implement some more zone. It's one of the things I'm looking forward to finding out which they use. I'm sure Josh and Dorsey have a plan for both.
  12. I don't think McDermott and the O purposely do that. What they do is attack what the D gives them. There is a chance that the Dolphin's D play a deeper shell which opens up the shorter stuff to start the game. That could cause some higher play count drives which could eat up more clock per drive. Then again, they could go man to man in which case it's all up in the air.
  13. Take that Boston money Josh. "Gillette, love the razor and love winning in the stadium"!
  14. Agree, but he has had a number of balls that hit the receivers right in the hands. Overall poor play by everyone on the Steelers O.
  15. As the scripture says, "Answer not a fool, use your ignore function"!
  16. Do you have to keep up with this talk? What is with you?
  17. I think one of the C's in his name means Cleveland.
  18. This is NOT the steel curtain.
  19. Ditto.
  20. Trubisky with his best JA impersonation.
  21. Heard someone on NFLN while I was cooking that Mitch needs to just let it go and play. I agree. It's do or die time for him, again.
  22. I agree. What I would add is first, with Dorsey and Kromer I do not look back to previous years running game and project anything going forward. Secondly, I think that the whole offense has revolved around everyone getting the passing game going first. That has taken the lions share of time for Dorsey, Kromer and the rest. It's new to this year's team with Dorsey and Kromer and they have done that job well. Finally, it would seem to me the passing game will scheme for its opponent, but more emphasis will be given to add dimensions to the running game as the season goes forward and weather begins to change. This team's offense is not finished developing at all.
  23. For sure. Then he says something at the end of the interview about having to find some wood. I just have to say the Allen / Diggs combination is a very special thing. We fans should realize it and never take it for granted.
  24. How can any Bills fan not be so happy that Brandon Beane traded for Stefon Diggs? He was the perfect WR fit for Josh Allen. His constant ability to empathize with Josh as a QB and do everything he can to ease his pressure is just awesome. He epitomizes "humble and hungry". PS. I knocked on wood for him too.
  25. What about the doctor's evaluation from the hospital? I would guess those "experts" had an input. Has Hyde had other doctors (Bills affiliated or others) evaluate him Tuesday or Wednesday? What if the Bills want him to get another opinion and Hyde concurs? What about all the other scenarios we are not privy to? It's a football player with a neck injury. I doubt anything is black or white.
