Not sure of what Matt Kabel's screen name is here...but he and Matt Soreco founded and run that Bills club. Matt Kabel's daughter...Sally..passed away today from Leukemia. Sally was diagnosed on 2013. They have a Facebook page..Sweet Sally Sunshine...where you can leave them a note. Matt is originally from Orchard Park. Fly high sweet girl..

Terrible...terrible...terrible news.  I saw that she was sick on his social media.  God bless that little girl and Matt’s family.

  2. Finally Vontae Davis speaks on his abrupt retirement.  In this article in The Undefeated, Davis basically said it suddenly hit him that he “didn’t belong on the field anymore.”  He told John Butler (Secondary Coach...not the late GM) that he was done,  called his wife and left.  That’s it.

Unfortunately the guy who interviewed him doesn’t press him on leaving.  Why couldn’t Vontae have waited until after the game to make the decision?  Why could he have stayed on the sidelines to support his team?

In fact the writer actually defends him “he’s a grown man.”  Lame as snit.

  3. Interesting tidbit from the McDermott press conference.  Basically he’s open to the idea of shaking up the OL.  How would you attempt to fix the Bills OL?  Remember, there aren’t really any big names out there on the street who can come in and make a sizeable impact, so your actions are limited to moves you can on the roster and different offensive packages/schemes etc.

Tough?  One got out of a gun shop pickup and got beaten down by a guy who appeared out of a Volvo minicar in madras shorts

Yeah but you wouldn’t say it to their face.  Pretty easy to cast stones from cyberspace.  The three dudes are tough guys in my book.  Probably could compete in the Buffalo Tough Man contests

So in Buffalo, those two are "babes," huh?

    That explains a lot.

Did you not see the beautiful Buffalo babes who got out of the car.  That’s who I was referring to.  You must have not been paying close enough attention ?????

Browns - 4 top ten picks in last 4 years.

Jags - 4 top ten picks in last 5 years

Rams - 5 top ten picks in last 6 years

Jets - 3 top ten picks in last 5 years

Though these are estimates, you see the point. Teams that struggle get rewarded with high draft picks. The Bills have always competed at the 7-9 and 8-8 level. We need a chance to draft top 5. Be patient.

When you think about it, it really is quite remarkable (or somewhat unlucky) that the Bills never really bottomed out aside from 4-12 in 2010.  The rest of the years were around 6-9 wins.  Unreal

Hearing news now that Davis had mentioned to some Bengals players after their preseason game that he "didn't have it anymore" just makes this thing weirder.

If he felt like he couldn't physically keep up anymore, why drag it out and then cap off a decent career with something that will always tarnish his name? Do what Keenan Robinson did. He approached McDermott and told him he felt like he couldn't perform at the level needed for the NFL and retired.

But Davis... He says balls to that and does it at halftime in a regular season game.

I still maintain that he was salty about being scratched in favor of Gaines for the first game. I won't go as far to say that he bailed at halftime to stick it to 'em in a way but I have a feeling that at halftime he was told he would be second fiddle to someone else and maybe that finally triggered something and he just said, "I can't do this anymore." If that's the case, at least have the decency to finish the damn game.

All good points. He also could have asked to be taken out and at least supported the team at halftime.

hes a good follow.  The dude shoots his mouth off and is wrong a lot of the time

  8. A humorous tweet from Buffalo’s own Greg Gabriel.  For those of you who don’t know, Greg was a college scout in the NFL before he was fired in Chicago.  Hasn’t found a job since but he has many hot takes.  He also was a HUGE Nathan Peterman supporter that has gone radio silent since his....uh....troubling performance in Week 1.

anyway, Greg is very very outspoken. in this tweet he calls Vontae Davis a loser LOL

The one guy is a gun dealer.   (Interlaken Guns and Ammo) This could have ended differently.

Would have been better if the guy in the White Challenger driving in the other direction would have got out and kicked everyone's ass and had the chicks climb in his car.

Wait you know this guy?  Do you think we could interview him for a special interview here?

That would have been too sweet!

  11. If you thought the viral videos from Barstool Sports of Bills Mafia doing silly thing ended with the table ban.... think again.  In this clip one guy who looks a little like WWE superstar Kevin Owens fends off an attack from two fellow members of the Buffalo FamBase.  Making it even cooler, are the two hot Bills babes who look on and plead with the duo to stop fighting Kevin Owens.

Before you judges these dudes, I know the exit where they are fighting.  It’s very frustrating.  Enough to make you throw down?  Absolutely

I'm sure you're correct that the Pegulas are currently "in love with" Coach McDermott and GM Brandon Beane and as of today, they are going nowhere

All folks are saying is that, if the team continues to play and behave in a way that makes them a national media laughingstock (vs simply losing), Something will Happen and the Pegulas may just change their mind.

Do we need to make a list of all the coaches and GMs, the Pegulas have been "in love with" before, until, well, Something Happened to change how they saw it?

I guess, but my feeling is that The Pegulas were prepped that this was going to be a really bad year.  You can tell all the way back to the Spring with McDermott’s “year-to-year” comments.  The Pegulas were probably expecting a very bad year, so I’m sure this comes as no surprise.

I have heard that Terry is conscious of his reputation in the NFL and NHL and doesn’t want to be known as the guy who fires

everyobe.  Also I am pretty sure he gave McDermott quite a long leash when he signed here.

    Translation....these two are going nowhere

There's just no way that I can come up with a scenario that Terry and Kim signed off on a total "tear it down" and rebuild plan.  Certainly not to be the laughinstocks of the NFL.
He has gone through years of pain dealing with that on the NHL side.  Now I get that McBeane sold to them in the offseason,, that Buffalo has to get through a season with a ton of dead cap money, and will have to work in a rookie QB.  But I also believe they were told they have a gamer in Peterman, a vet in McCarron to stabilize the ship, a solid Defense coming off a playoff season...
and some free agents to add to the mix.  I have no doubt the Pegulas were told they might take a step back, but no way they would become a league joke and risk alienating his football fanbase
like what happened to his NHL fansbase.   In the NFL, you don't have to SUCK to build a winner.  What you do is you stay relevant and reload at the positions of need as attrition happens.

If I were the Pegulas, I'd be walking around pissed off today.  Yes=- Allen looks decent but the amount of holes they have to fill are staggering.  Some of the players McBeane thought
would be decent are not playing well or have been flat out released. I don't get some of their roster moves. For example, why would a team desperate for a good, solid posssession receiver would get rid of O'Leary and keep Logan Thomas?  That dude can't play the position or be trusted to catch a pass.

Overall, the McBeane era has taken a huge hit this year for me.  I had a ton of faith in them, but it's wavering.

Hate to say this but from all indications The Pegulas are in love with Coach McDermott and Brandon Beane.  They are going nowhere.  Mark it downs.

We have a 100 mill in cap space, how much would he actually take up?? And a 5th is still terrible, at minimum should have been a 2nd for a player of his ability.

Again, you don’t understand the salary cap.  Marcel had an inflated contract. Couple that with the fact that his play over the past few years has been average.  Do you really think teams Were clamoring for an overpaid, underperforming DT?    There weren’t.  In fact, many were shocked that Beane was actually able to deal him
