You're safe. Even with a late TD in mop up time, the Bills won't cover 17.
The way I was thinking, based how the Bills played the past 2 weeks, I don’t see them scoring more than 6. That means Minnesota has to score about 24 points which I think they can do easily. I am predicting a 30-6 Vikings win

How is that a great line? Sports books had it at 16.5...

No the odds were very attractive

Point spread ties are pushes, right? So if the final score is 34-17 Minny, would that be a push?
Yeah it would

People will complain about either side of the spectrum. People undoubtedly and rightfully, didn't like Rex's shtick, they complained about that as well.

I think the point is that Daboll sounded more like an old time OL coach than a genius OC. That was my takeaway as well. Very underwhelming.
It was terrible to listen to. He was brief and said nothing. Plus he was hard to understand.

We'll see who's laughing Sunday night

^^^This^^^. Vegas is in business to make money, so they're pretty certain Buffalo will get beat badly with a spread that big. Good luck @BuffaloRush hope it works out for you. Just don't bet more than you can afford to lose in the future.
It's not really more than I can afford but probably more than I should have. I really hope I don't regret this

This interview wins the award for "most boring interview of 2018." Holy cow was this one a boar. Keep in mind too, I am one of the fans that thinks you need to give Daboll a chance but man was this brutal.
Howard Simon does the best he can to talk to Brian Daboll, but he says nothing. Just a lot of cliches like "He had some good moments and then some moments he'd want to have back." He is very flat, monotone, and void of any expression or enthusiasm. Almost Belichick-esque. Also to make matter worse, it sounds like he's half-asleep, which he might have been since it was the morning. Plus you can tell that he's on a speaker phone or a conference call speaker.
Even Howard tries his best but nothing works. You get the feeling that Howard know this was a lousy segment, though no fault of his own.
Normally I listen to all of WGR's interviews with Bills players or media members. Some are better than others, but nearly all of the time they are interesting in some way. This was an exception.
Again, I like Daboll but this interview was a snoozer:

Think about it. The Bills can still get crushed and lose by 16, then you're screwed. Most likely the garbage time TD, or Allen goes crazy
Yes I know....that’s what makes me nervous. They could completely own them and be up 35-6 in the 4th. If the Bulls score 2 garbage TD’s I lose!

I did it. I had the chance to bet a lot of money on the game and I did it. Honestly I was really torn and I hate betting against the Bills but I had to do it. I got a very attractive offer from a local sports book that I couldn’t pass up.
But I haven’t told anyone. Not my boss, not my wife, not my parents etc. Just this forum. My wife especially would kill me if she knew I had $5,000 riding on football.
Since I made this bet though, I have been very nervous. My stomach feels very uncomfortable and queesy. I have not been able to sleep at night and have been dog tired all day.
But really I have nothing to be worried about right? The Vikings are one The the NFL’s best teams and the Bills are not. I figure that the defense will hold the Bills to FG’s and the MInnesota’s offense will score at will against our porous defense. So I shouldn’t be worried right?
I mean I would feel better if it was just picking one team to win but they have to cover 17 points. That one might be tough and i am sweating it out.
Hopefully I will have some nice cash next week and can put this one behind me.

Was Mayfield's game last night a typical rookie game? Why does it look so different from Allen's rookie game?
Darnold’s game looked like a rookie QB

Thank you for contributing to the OP
Aren’t you the guy saying the Bills will be drafting a QB in 2019?
Nope, I said it’s a possibility if Allen shows he doesn’t have it. It would give Beane a second chance IF it’s apparent Allen is a flop. Again, it all depends on his development as a rookie.

FTR I’m not attacking Josh.
There were the series (maybe the FGs) where things went bad due to rookie mistakes
Also Mea cupla. I’m remembering that disastrous preseason red zone play where he scrambled back and was sacked for well over 15 yards.
Funny how my praise for him is forgotten as soon as I criticize a series or two
Talk about attacking people because the reader takes ? the wrong way.
If you don’t believe me read the Watkins catch thread
This guy is just super negative. Looks at the glass half-empty all of the time.

Interesting thoughts from Joe and Matt. They said that performances on offense and defense have largely been around average.
The weakspot on defense was Edmunds and Gaines.
The weakspot on offense is Allen. The OL protection hasn’t been great but it’s far from the disaster we’d think it is.

Sadly, it’s a way of life for some people.
The negativity here is off the charts. Some people really are just out of touch with reality or just so used to losing. The fact that people are calling for Beane and McDermott’s job already is not only reactionary...but it borders on the edge of delusions of grandeur

If you Factor in the descion to pass on Mahomes , the current state of the roster, the fact that they made a major investment in Allen , who is far from a sure thing, the jettisone of any player whith the slightest quirk in his personality this is the wost group to run the organization since Pollian took over.
Negative Bills fans...
