  2. Much like BB wanting an opportunity for a fresh start to prove what he could do without Tommy. I have to imagine Kraft is feeling the same way.

You had this unprecedented run, and from all appearances it’s over. I think he might be coming around to the idea of a fresh new start as well.

You already lost the best qb of all-time while he was still doing what he did at a high level. Your coach on the other hand stayed, and he does not appear to be doing what he did at a high level. That alone would be enough to upset you a little. You kept the wrong guy. That would be enough for me to want a fresh start. The Patriot way left with Tom.

Free agents lined up around the building for a chance to play with Tom for peanuts. BB almost seems a bit of a hinderance in that respect.  No one wants to play for less, AND have a hardball coach that doesn’t want you to have any fun.

Love Beasley- he made Josh great! 👍

Well… I wouldn’t exactly put it that way. Josh definitely played better when he had a reliable catcher who could get open in the middle of the field. Cole did well in that role for a bit.

Kincaid’s going to make us forget about Beasley real quick!

They don't put the pics of the rookie trip to the Sundowner out for the public

You think Mcdermott would sign up for that? Maybe he’d let them stay for a wild game of bingo after the Sunday mass, but idk, that’s cutting it.

I think it’s so they can take the obligatory rookie trip to Niagara Falls.

Yeah, and they get to do super fun things like go to new era to do some hat shopping, and check out a rubber band factory or something.

Idk, I always thought our rookie trips looked pretty lame to be honest.

  6. Why is anyone even bringing up Eichel? That’s old news. We got a lot of great pieces from that deal, and Eichel would have never brought this team to where they’re headed. I would’ve traded Eichel for Tuch straight up since Eichel leaving was a positive all on its own.

Sabres have a fun and exciting young team. The draft couldn’t have gone better, imo. Getting Benson where we did makes zero sense, and I couldn’t be happier about it. Might need to retire the Lafontaine jersey. The defensive players they added in free agency should help a lot.

Johnson playing the role of the wiley old vet that has won a Stanley cup to help mentor the youngins. Clifton will bring some much needed grit and nastiness, if paired with Power will really help to allow Power to open up offensively.

Tage and this team are super young and super talented. And that’s not even mentioning the ridiculously stacked prospect pool.

The only negative I really see for this team is that the pool is so overfull, it’s going to be hard to give these kids a chance on the roster. I think moving Olofsson would help there a bit.

I would’ve liked a move for a goalie, but they were a point away from the playoffs. Levi playing a larger role, the young guns having another year under their belt, and the added meat should be enough to get them over the hump.

Regardless, whether it’s next season or later, this team has so much to be excited about.

  7. I haven’t had a paper in my hand since delivering the Buffalo news over 20 years ago. Almost $30 seems like a lot to me in the age of the internet where you can find the latest updated information on anything/anywhere in less than 10 seconds.

I understand that you can also do digital, but I think I’ve only run into an issue like once or twice a month where there’s something I’d like to read and can’t get in without a subscription. In those cases I was easily able to find that information elsewhere.

The first game is going to be a real test for the OL keeping Josh in the pocket. The Jets DL is no joke.

You’re not wrong. What actually makes me more nervous than their D-line is Josh’s ampitude.

Dude gets so hyped. Primetime, division foe, Aaron Rodgers, I’m worried hero ball Josh might forget that he has options that aren’t 20-30 yards down the field.

  9. When I hear Chris Brown talking about the Bills I make a face like someone slapped me in the nose with a wet fish.

Admittedly, I’m a Homer, and I know it’s his job to be ultra Homer, but I get the same feeling from him as I get hearing Collinsworth schlobber on about the top five qbs.

Also, he’s kind of a bore.

43-37-1 overall. A winning record is a winning record. I think TT was coached to play super conservative so they could ride Shady & the D and eek their way into the playoffs.  I don’t think he was necessarily gun shy.

I have hours and hours of time invested watching him that refutes this point completely.

Run, run, pass. Run, run, pass. One third of his drives were clearly passing plays with 5 to 8 yards needed. Dude wouldn’t let it go until the last second and that was to a guy no one was covering because he wasn’t beyond the first down marker.

I never ever understood the hate for Tyrod Taylor. He was a dynamic athlete that defenses had to properly game plan against and played a big role in breaking the 17 year drought. I think he is one of the better dual threats of all time and it’s cool seeing the contrast between TT and Allen as runners. Why is he not a bigger part of Bills’ lore? He got done what a **** load of previous QBs couldn’t. It’s not like Losman, Bledsoe, or Fitz didn’t have good defenses too. So I really don’t wanna hear how the defense alone propelled us there. It was also Tyrod’s legs and low turnover rate + big play ability as well.

I never “hated” Tyrod, but he was infuriating to watch. He’d just never let the ball go. Dudes would be wide open, and he’d just refuse to sling it.

    I remember screaming, “throw it!”

He never would. That’s why I’ll never get down on Allen for turnovers as long as he keeps taking his shots. The alternative is playing safe, and boring football to limit mistakes. He lasted too long, and I hope I never have to watch that kind of football again.

I have nothing against him, but I’m certainly not going to praise him either.

i'm not greedy.  i'd be thrilled to see one.

I’m super greedy, but I’ll still just take one.

During the drought I kind’ve resigned myself to the fact that I’d never see a championship in my life time. Then Josh Allen came into our lives and completely ruined that for me.

13 seconds hurt in a way that I didn’t think was possible as an adult. I can only imagine how a championship would feel. The again, the door is wide open for more wide rights, and 13 seconds’, so… idk, I’m equal parts hopeful and anxious.

I guess It’s better than feeling nothing about it.

i can already see the set up.  if this team goes to a super bowl, it will be all because of allen, and mcd will just be along for the ride.  if the bills win a super bowl, there will be more criticism that this staff isn't good enough because they only won one.  this is nice.

If they win the Super Bowl, put me in the who gives #€£%! category.

Actually, you can put me in that category now if you’re putting a list together.

Are you putting a list together?
