Time for some payback on Saint Dougy!
Let's go get em boys...Go Bills!
Hell yeah!
Usually "settling for the playoff berth" is loserville. But hell not this time! At the very least the team, the fans, everybody needed that monkey off our backs!

Thing is, half the roster is new this year. Crazy when you think about it. But next year, a lot of vets will either be gone or will have slowed down. It's such a crapshoot if the Bills will be better, worse or about same level next year. In all probability, they will be improved in a lot of areas and really regress in others, in a way the GM and coaches can't even predict. I don't recall such volatility on the player side of things. For coaches, hell yes, but not for the players. The Bills will be quite different next year, regardless of the draft and trades. What these will decide is if the team has the tools to succeed or not. Luck will matter as much as many other factors, as even middle of the road level guys will impact one way or another.

The season is short and mega intense, and that's one of the main reason of the NFL's major success IMO. So adding Thursday games, Saturdays, and on and on has actually diminished the cravings... but it is stilt VERY strong. I hear ya. Though today is different as it could, AT LAST, NOT be the end of the season for the Bills!

It's not that I have love for Smith and Cousins, but to call them Journeymen? WTH. So it's "Brady-Brees level" or nothing for you guys?

He's probably hired to get inside info. He has had access to the playbook all year!
I didn't even know the Steelers let him go. Why did they do that so late in the year? Unusual to say the least

I for one would have loved the opportunity to give the Pats a 3 game losing streak.
Now somebody is making sense! But a loss on Sunday is enough for now

It's dumb and stupid but embarrassing? Maybe for them but not for the 99.9% rest of us. Grow a thicker skin people. Who cares what "other team fans" think of us!

Heart attack game. And yes they won, and yes I was in ecstasy, but that punt was such a gutless decision it leaves a weird bad taste now looking at McD. He played for the tie! Players decided otherwise.

I was awesome to see for sure. It looked like fun times were had. Meanwhile both LA team stadiums are full of empty seats or supporters of the visiting teams...

At first I was indeed pissed at the COlts player. Probably that because of the weather there were very little hard shots so it seemed "inappropriate" LOL But yeah, this was on Peterman. Tough way to learn! And he was looking decent out there.

I used to believe in morality and ethics up until the point where everyone else on the planet stopped believing. This is a selfish me first society now that is predicated on money. I'm not saying I like it but it's the fact. The only reason Gronk didn't get a 2 game suspension was because of the huge marquee Steeler game coming up. What will slowly happen is more and more mothers will not allow their kids to play football. The pool of quality players in high school and college will diminish. The NFL will be impacted. With CTE future NFL players will probably be required to sign a release of liability. Fans will always demand it to be a gladiator sport where players continue to launch themselves helmet first. New safety measures and rules will have minimal results. I fear for the future of the sport, not just the NFL.
Sad but true. Especially the first sentence.

I too tend to think this season is over so let's plan ahead for 2018. But then... it IS still possibe the Bills are 10-6 or 9-7 and get in the playoffs...

I remember a time when if a penalty against one team was for 15 yards and the penalty on another was 5 yards, they applied the 15 yarder. Now they just cancel each other out? Doesn't make sense.
How about letting the ref do some basic maths? 15-5 = 10 yards. Is it THAT hard?
The two penalties offset by one is so stupid.

Not the best strategy from a run oriented team...
BUT' I'll at least give Dennison credit for some imaginative plays, especially in the start of the game. He even mentioned he did all that because it was the Patriots who tend to take away the opponent's main strength. Just maybe he could be creative every week?
Joe Webb was used well, and while the Tyrod interception stand out, I see no mention that when Webb made his one pass, it should have been a TD. That's TWO TDs that were left on the field by the PLAYERS, not the OC. But yeah, overall, he doesn't do a very convincing job.

It did again point out how stupid the rules are. He had TWO 15 yard penalties on that play, one for the hit, and one for the taunting, but instead of 30 yards, nope, one penalty is declined, one is accepted. In the Gronk incident, there were two calls against the Patriots, one against the Bills so... it offsets?? WTH! The NFL should have a higher respect for the ref's math skills and change the rules here!

Scary results, and I immediately wished him well, but even scarier that it's something that can happen anytime. If he has movement in lower extremities, then he should recover, at least walk again, and that's good news

Gronk was flagged. It was just offset by Hyde's penalty on the same play.
Which is really stupid. One team commits two personal fouls, but gets left off the hook because the other team committed one.
Screw that. In that situation, Amendola's and Hyde's penalties should have offset and then Gronks should have been enforced. I mean, in the end it didn't matter because of Jerry Hughes, but at least we would have ended up in the same spot.
It's so stupid that that two PF penalties are offset by one!

Until eliminated, makes sense to stick with TT. Sure he might not be a great option (!) but Peterman was atrocious and recall how everyone were saying what an horrible decision that had been to put him in? AFTER the game of course. I'm glad NP looked decent in this 4th quarter duty.

Once Peterman came in I saw passes getting fit into tight windows, balls coming out quickly and Shady finding running room. Any thought of letting taylor back on the field this year if he's healthy should have died 8 minutes into the 4th quarter.
I was on TT's bandwagon and got off too after the two blowouts. And I sure hope the Bills find a replacement. But I still remain in my stance: you don't cut him until you find a better man at the QB position! Period. And as of now, he's clearly #1. It's for the FO to find a replacement. Easy to cut anyone. Not easy to find talent, especially at that position!
But yeah, Peterman deserves another look. Weird how he looked decent in his 2 in game action, and sucked as a starter!

I don't like Geno Smith. And benching Eli for him instead to test out a draft pick QB etc. is one of THE dumbest moves of late for sure. But give it to Rex to make you side with his target LOL He's really classless. But then, he's in media now, and not that good, so desperate to create some drama around him so he's worth something somehow...

personally don't care that he said anything to Ref, would have rather he went and confronted Gronk But the Bills did nothing to Landry last year so why would anyone think they would have this year
No comparison between what Gronk did and what Landry did. Landry deserved to be taken out.
As for Hughes IDK what he said, but he gets flagged for it, and easily in any case. Who doesn't remember his 15 yard penalty for playfully bashing his TEAMMATE. Refs are biased and that'.
s not good.
And what with the retarded rule that 2 penalties offset 1?
Congrats to Kyle Williams!!!

I teared up. Yet I wasn't fully in the moment... but the Bengals delivered too! Sooooooooo awesome!
