Blank Stare

Bengals have been pretty douchey for a while now. Most of this year. They certainly were before that first game we played them. I gave them credit for the class they showed regarding Hamlin (and they did show class there), but that was quickly used up with me with their incessant bitching about the result. As if they were the only one inconvenienced by that outcome. The false narratives about coin flips, neutral sites, and game tickets were insufferable. That said…they kicked our ass. Out everythinged us on our home field in front of our fans. They deserve to celebrate.

Agreed. But you and I also are not on the Bills. Or in the locker room. Seems like the players are good with it and get it. I like my captains fiery. I want to know they care. Not suggesting he handled it perfectly or that other captains/players don’t care if they act differently, but I’m good with him reacting emotionally.

Diggs is all of us. He’s sick of the same old *****. It’s inexplicable. Everyone besides Diggs and Milano looked like they were sleepwalking yesterday. Including the coaches. Love Diggs.

Phillips was basically useless after the hamstring injury against the Titans on the late Milano pick 6. Any hope for a strong stretch run was ruined by that foolish late season dive at Mac Jones. He didn’t have any chance of getting that sack and blew out his shoulder. Bummer on Hyde, but not all that surprising. I think everyone was kind of guessing he’d be cleared next week. Regarding Beasley coming back, meh. I wouldn’t hate it as a limited role player like he was late this year, but we need to completely rebuild the WR room beyond Diggs, Davis, and Shakir. Been starved for speed for too long.

Someone I saw on Twitter yesterday said they are worried that we are seeing Josh Allen become the Phillip Rivers to Mahomes and Burrow’s Manning and Brady. Whether that’s true or not, that really hit home for me. Quite sobering. The patchwork approach to building the offense has to stop. Help Josh with better play calling and by building out the line and strengthening the weapons around him. Enough with the defense.

And they knew it coming in to the last game and this game. They were going to bully them. And it worked.

I agree. It was going to catch up to us at some point. Beane continues to burn valuable assets on mediocre defensive line help rather than helping Josh with the picks. You want to see how to support your young qb, then look no further than the chiefs drafting.

Josh hasn’t had much help, but he’s been pretty mediocre today. When he’s not Superman we don’t have a chance in hell. And that’s on Beane.

I’d flush this defense and start over after this year. I’d flush McD too but we all know that will never happen. I’ve defended the guy for years, but it’s looking like he just doesn’t have it.

After what the bengals did to us a few weeks ago, wtf did this coaching staff expect? They were way more physical than us then. They weren’t ready for these guys again. And that’s on McD.

Entire defense and offensive line should be forced to watch 80 for Brady on loop. Looks so horrendous.

Could definitely use a few more dogs on D next year. Wish they were more physical/aggressive.

Bengals came out like they did a few weeks ago and are bullying the Bills. This is the first time I’ve seen a McD coached team look completely unprepared in a while. Probably since that colts debacle.

Here’s hoping for a second half bengals collapse.
