  1. I won't argue he made a couple throws Tyrod won't even try, but overall, it wasn't a job stealing performance. Hope I'm wrong!!!
  2. And if Taylor was truly "almost" ready this week to be a game time decision, he's ready this week. Ugh....I want Peterman but whatever. Just win and who cares.
  3. I hear ya, but you have to take things in context. First one was right after the game. The most recent "Tyrod is our starter" came later in the week. Post-tape McD is the word to trust and this past week didn't deem a change of mind.
  4. I wish I could agree. I personally never want to see Tyrod play for us ever again. But I remain objective. Unfortunately the crazy weather and the injury took away from Peterman securing the job without question. So...with Tyrod being a game time decision, he must have been close to ready. He gets the start this week, even if Peterman is cleared.
  5. I want Peterman 100%. But answering who McD chooses, it's Tyrod if healthy. That's all I'm saying.
  6. If McD stays true to his word, it's Tyrod. Peterman didn't do enough to take the job back if both are healthy.
  7. After the countless times we have been shafted in the drought, we'll take the handful of lucky bounces we have had this year!
  8. Let's be honest, we are incredibly lucky to be 7-6 right now. Sneaking a WC has nothing to do with "deserving" it. Let's get lucky and break this damn drought! Then we can let our Kool Aid brains take over and imagine the possibilities. But till then....I'm all for seeing an eliminated Miami this week. Not a team charged up with hope and momentum.
  9. I do admit, I almost want to turn my fan card in. I used to think I could never ever ever root for NE in any circumstance. Kudos to you guys who stick that belief even in the face of it possibly hurting our playoff chances! (I say possibly because I make the huge assumption Miami rides that momentum into Buf).
  10. I agree, doing some hurt on NE would be wonderful to ensure those guys don't win another SB, but for our sakes, do we want to play a team 2X this year capable of doing that to them at this point in the year?
  11. My Pats hate is #1 due to the more recent history, but the old Fish hate is still there! All hate set aside, I can't see any good reason to root for Miami tonight. Logically, it makes sense for the Fish to get all but knocked out of the hunt tonight.
  12. And the cold weather being our advantage could be argued. Indy, a DOME TEAM, with a shell of a roster, all but stole it from us yesterday.
  13. After 13 games, it's fair to count on almost no real pass rush. Anything close to pressure would be a bonus.
  14. I get it. No "true fan" could ever root for NE. But in real life, the division is beyond our reach. This is what helps us most.
  15. A Miami win has them 6-7 coming into 7-6 Buf...with the steroid shot of knowing you just knocked the champs out a few days before. No thanks.
  16. All I know is that if we were in the Fins' shoes, we'd be thinking we can run the table and sneak another WC if we come off beating the Pats. The margin of separation between those last 2 WC teams is razor thin.
  17. But we have almost no pass rush. Cutler isn't great by any means, but he's the kind of guy who can have the random 300 yard 3 TD day to kill you.
  18. But seriously, which is more of a factor? The short week/cold OR the momentum of upsetting NE? A short week to prep for our QB carousel won't be the worst thing ever for them.
  19. Obviously rooting for us to sneak in, but if we don't, I'm hoping Rivers can keep this run going all the way. Would love to see a Rivers vs Brees SB for all the storybook reasons it comes with.
  20. I'm torn. I love the idea of a dome for all the other uses but my gut says this is Buffalo, WHEN we return to true contention, snow is supposed to be our advantage.
  21. Admittedly I haven't done all the math, but would Miami possibly get in if they win out? I know that's insane, but if they somehow beat NE tonight, they have @Buf, @KC, Buf remaining. IDK, I'm putting hate for one team aside and rooting for them to get all but eliminated tonight AND no extra confidence boost coming into our house.
  22. My utter disgust for NE almost has me with you...but I don't like the idea that we would play a team 2X that could beat NE. Yes...KC beat them and we beat KC...so I should add...at this point in the year.
  23. Tonight is one of those rare games I root for them. Such a terrible feeling. But I'd rather have that happen then have Miami gain crazy confidence coming into next week.
  24. The only bright spot in all this is if he tore his ACL, that means he got up and still threw a TD with a blown ACL. Dude is a warrior through and through.
  25. Really hope it's not torn. He is really fun to watch...and inspiring to think we absolutely must pay whatever price it takes to get a top 2 guy this draft. Even if it means not plugging the other holes right away. Get our guy THEN build!!!
