Ramsey, Miller, OBJ.... What a recipe for success. Apparently no one has yet learned from the Daniel Snyder Redskins that you can't buy a SB. Lol

So sick of hearing about players like Beckham, who has been an injured/ineffective distraction for like 4 years now. Cam falls in this category too - the media just won't shut up about these guys

    This feels shortsighted to me.

I’d rather the Pats beat the Titans.

The Bills control their own destiny with two games remaining against the Patriots. Win those games and the Patriots have 6 losses (minimum). I don’t see the Bills losing 3 of their 5 non-Pat games remaining. Which is what it would take for the Patriots to win the division if we beat them both times.

I can see this point of view, but to me it is unwise to assume we are going to sweep the Pats.

If your scenario doesn't play out and we drop another "should win" game, we could be looking at a wild card and having to win 3 straight road games to get to the Bowl. I'd rather just secure the division. Even if the Pats beat the Titans, we are still highly unlikely to catch Tennessee given their schedule.

I really don’t think the Pats* are as good as everyone seems to be thinking they are. Obviously their D is better with the additions and all the guys they got back after opting out last year but damn, I’m not on that Mac Jones train yet. He seems limited, physically, and I may be understating that. Not afraid of Chad Pennington v2.0

I'm torn on this. Jones has looked pretty good for a rookie, but it also helps when your team runs the ball at will, is well coached, and plays solid defense.

His upside seems limited. I think he can have a solid career, but it will be sort of a Baker Mayfield situation.

Long way to go but Bills probably will finish with 4 or even 5 losses. Probably not catching TEN due to mostly a 4th and short that they couldn’t convert. Not the end of the world. Just have to focus on winning the AFCE.

Just need to get the #2, which is easily within our reach given our schedule and ability. If that happens who knows maybe the Titans will slip up in the divisional game

It's going to be difficult to get the 1 seed given their remaining schedule.

The Bills are the better team but the loss vs them plus them pulling off wins vs the rams and saints was a disaster for our chances.

Bills lose 1 and Titans lose vs pats Steelers and 49ers?

We can't lose more than 1 game.

A failed QB sneak that we convert 19/20 times may end up being the difference. Ugh.

I think most suspected at the time that the loss to Tennessee would hurt, but not to this degree.

At this point, the #1 is out and I will be rooting heavily for the Titans against the Pats in 2 weeks. Sucks, but we HAVE to secure the division first.

I think we're moving Baltimore way down now and Tennessee is in that top 5 - assuming Henry comes back.

Time will tell whether the Titans can maintain their level of play, because I don't believe Henry will return this year.

That said, they've looked very good lately and have an extremely favorable schedule . It seems like the drop off from losing Henry so far has been mitigated by the strong improvement of their defense.

How exactly is it an easy schedule? The Bills have 5 toss-up games remaining: IND, @NO, NE, @TB, @NE. Even ATL doesn't look like a gimme either. Yes, we should beat CAR and NYJ (twice), but who would be shocked if we split the other six? That's 11-6, nowhere near the record of a 1 seed or a Super Bowl favorite.

And you can't assume wins against NYJ or CAR. They're both better than the Jaguars.

The Bills are in trouble right now.

I won't go so far as to say the Bills are in trouble just yet, but generally I agree with this. It unfortunately looks like the best upside in terms of seeding we can hope for is #2, and we all know how well that worked out last year.

Having to play 2 games at home and then the potential Championship game on the road is such a massive difference from locking down that top spot.

It’s still early and AFC is wide open. We also have some critical problems that need to be addressed before I start caring about things like this.

True, but to me it is undeniable the Titans are the favorite for the #1 seed with an obvious leg up to reach the Super Bowl.

Tennessee has NO, Hou, Jac, Mia, and SF at home & NE, Pit, and Hou on the road remaining. If the Bills were to pass them while only losing one more game, the Titans would still need to lose 3. If the Bills lose 2, the Titans would need to lose 4. It's very difficult right now to see those scenarios playing out.

Really disappointed we didn't get the O-Line and #2 CB positions upgraded.  Glaring needs, especially at the G position.  Really hope not being able to run the ball effectively when we absolutely need to doesn't come back to bite us.  Hopefully Allen can survive the season as well.  He hides so many issues, but it is bound to catch up with us eventually.

Agree, specifically with the positions you mentioned. All the talk about trading for a RB, or getting Mack/Cox despite having to give up draft capital and absorb huge salaries, was laughable.

But I was was desperately hoping a mid round pick would have used to address one or both of our glaring needs. Kyle Fuller in particular was who I was hoping the Bills would target. If Tre goes down, the Bills D is in trouble.

  10. Am I crazy for wanting the Colts to win this game? I don't believe they're a contender regardless, especially given their start. But I would like them to have some momentum going into next weeks matchup against the Titans.

They’re missing their starting QB, RB1 and RB2.   Not sure Baker is a ton better than Keenum, but I can’t really make any judgments on this game other than Denver is horrible.

Cleveland's 3rd string running back was just as effective and Keenum is a good veteran. The Broncos also have a significant amount of injuries themselves.

Yet, the Browns eked out a 17-14 victory at home in a must win game. They are clearly underachieving on both sides of the ball.
