  1. Color me unimpressed with both these teams though admittedly the game is entertaining. I don't consider either one to be a real contender in the NFC, especially Philadelphia. I think the equally unimpressive Cowboys will win the East.
  2. We don't need speed like that. We need big oafs like Mack Hollins
  3. Jimmy Arias still does commentary on Tennis Channel from time to time. He definitely comes off as a bit of a douche, but he is not afraid to call out a player's weaknesses and his knowledge is impressive.
  4. Miami and the Bills at 12-5? Interesting. I also think Houston is going to be good, but not nearly as good as 12-5 facing a 1st place schedule. Agree with Washington being a surprise but I have the Cowboys winning the East. And as much as I hate it 15-2 is not out of the realm for the Chiefs. Year in year out the AFC West is straight garbage, and KC's roster this year is superior to previous years. I have to laugh when people suggest the addition of Jim Harbaugh to the Chargers is going to be some major game changer. The conference championship game and Super Bowl predictions are ok, other than what I mentioned previously (WAS over SF is far fetched in the WC). Edit - the Rams at 4-13?!?!?
  5. Gotta love the stupid injection of politics when a guy gets shot 🤦Hopefully Pearsall is ok
  6. Beane's presser explained why it shouldn't have been surprising. They drafted him strictly for his return ability, and repeatedly fielding punts inside the five yard line led them to question his decision making.
  7. Everyone can relax now. We were able to retain the future stars in Gore, Davidson, and Hardy
  8. I agree, but when it comes to receivers specifically Beane seems allergic to speed. Not quite sure what his fascination is with big, plodding receivers who have below average speed, quickness, athleticism, and separation skills. This applies to non draft picks as well - see Andre Holmes, Kelvin Benjamin, Mack Hollins, and Chase Claypool. Tyrell Shavers also falls in this category.
  9. I like the 3 exclamation points in the title
  10. Was just coming here to post this lol
  11. Agree with this a lot as it seems pretty unusual for modern day kickers and it's not talked about much. The technique is flat out weird. Most of his kicks have a distinct left to right trajectory where even the makes split the uprights at a fading angle. It's extremely rare to see Bass make a kick that goes straight down the middle or even just straight generally, including from short distance.
  12. Did you know that he was the top rated receiver prospect in the country during 7th grade?
  13. He's been a head case for a while now. Is it possible to to have less than zero confidence in someone? What a great contract we handed out
  14. Wow, thanks for the reminder! Let's run no huddle with Jason Peters holding out, Langston Walker at left tackle, and 0 games experience for our interior lineman. Then let's fire the OC 1 week before the opener. Brilliant I tell you!
  15. Sorry not trying to be a jerk but the 90's are long gone and the talent level on this current edition of the Bills is nowhere near the level of the Super Bowl teams
  16. Why stop there, what do you think about Marv as head coach and making Jim Kelly the OC? And bringing back the red end zones?
  17. And yet Josh still has his haters. For all the credit Beane and McDermott get, this is a 4-5 win team at best without Allen. That simply would not be the case with KC or Cincy, who have better talent and coaching across the board. A good example occurred just last year when the Bengals held it together respectfully with Jake Browning at QB and a bunch of other injuries.
  18. Hard to pass up a vaunted Duke defender and the next coming of Jason Sehorn
  19. I still think it is better than Andre Holmes/Jordan Matthews/Deonte Thompson/Kaelin Clay in 2017, but not by a lot. It's inexcusable to me to have a WR room this bereft with Josh Allen in his prime.
  20. This is another reason why taking a second swing at WR instead of just drafting Carter in the 3rd would have been prudent (or at least, draft a second receiver somewhere). Guys like Claypool, Hamler, and MVS flat out suck and it was delusional to expect anything out of them. Now one of the top 3 gets hurt and the Bills WR corps looks like the worst in football. Good luck Josh
  21. I guess I am in the minority but Hardy didn't impress me last night. He didn't look explosive at all on his punt returns even though he was force fed numerous opportunities. He also looked rough in run support because of taking some bad angles when trying to attack the ball carrier.
  22. Well, I've seen enough. Our kicking problems are over
  23. Appropriate that she makes an appearance in Pennsyltucky
  24. Great post man. I think we can all appreciate the optimism at this point. Gotta give you kudos as well for being on point with your info again, even if the news is bad. It's quite nice to have a reliable source on the message board you frequent. As to your points, I particularly agree with #3. The athletic ability of Williams is not in question. Instincts and pass coverage need improvement, but I am optimistic these will only get better with experience and reps. I look back to last year and remember how many (including myself) were terrified of letting a completely unproven 3rd rounder take the place of Edmunds. Let's hope Dorian can seize the moment just like Bernard did. Go Bills
