  1. I'm in section 134 (40 yard line, behind the Bills bench), and I sold my 3 tickets for $250 ea. on Stubhub. That was on Saturday. I was stunned I got that much. Especially since one section over, 133, which is right on the 50 yard line, 3 tickets were available for $215 ea. Yet they picked mine.
  2. I watch every Bills away game and have attended every Bills home game since I was 14 years old (I'm 59 now), so my passion for the Bills is greater than ever. But like the original poster, I don't watch many of the other games even though I've been running my Fantasy League since 1982. And again like the original poster, I've replaced my NFL diet with the college game. Saturday nights are THE BOMB!! Can't wait til Notre Dame - Michigan next Saturday and then Pitt-Penn State the week after. Some Saturday nights there's 3 or 4 really good games to tune into, especially when you consider the late starts on the West Coast with Stanford, USC, UCLA, etc. Two things have really irritated me about the NFL in recent years - 1) the Anthem protests. I could care less. Donald Trump, Rachel Maddow, Sean Hannity -- please stay away from my Sundays!!! Let me watch the damn game!!!!! And 2) The Catch Rule. If it looks like a catch, if it smells like a catch, if it talks like a catch . If every fan in that stadium thinks its a catch. If every ref on that field thinks its a catch. If everyone watching at home thinks its a catch. ITS A DAMN CATCH!!!!!!!! End of story!!!!!!! I could care less what some guy sitting in a TV studio analyzing every frame millisecond-by-agonizing-millisecond thinks -- ITS A CATCH!!!
  3. 32 was never formally retired, but I don't think anyone has worn it since The Juice.
  4. I sit in 134 Row 9, on the left aisle as you're looking at the field. I've been there since 1974. Some may consider it low, but I like to hear the shoulder pads popping. But there is no obstructed views except for yes, the TV camera cart that will impact your vision for MAYBE 2 or 3 plays per game. But being 2 rows higher at row 11, it might be a tad better.
  5. I spent 2 hours there this past summer and I didn't want to leave. One trip up to the Hoover Tower observation deck overlooking the Silicon Valley and I was sold. Bryce Love has a much brighter future ahead of him than taking helmet-to-helmet hits from Vontaze Burfict.
  6. Turn on the TV today. Take a look at Auburn - Georgia. Notre Dame - Miami. TCU - Oklahoma. Ohio St. - Michigan St. And countless more. Look at the stadiums, where its commonplace to see 100,000 people in the stands. Hundreds of years of tradition. Does Bob Costas or anyone else envision that ending soon? Does anybody see a day where Notre Dame only has 15 or 20 guys trying out so they have to combine with Purdue and Indiana to have enough players to field a team? I didn't think so. As long as there's college football, there will always be an NFL.
  7. It wasn't always sunshine and rainbows. Yes, JK was treated like royalty when he strolled into town after his stint with the Houston Gamblers. But after coming off an appearance in the AFC Championship game in '88 when they lost to the Bengals, big things were predicted for the Bills in '89. And when things didn't go exactly as planned, the local fanbase started getting surly, and there were indeed calls for Frank Reich. Although during the preseason Reich was persona non grata as well, as everyone demanded that 3rd stringer Stan Gelbaugh should be promoted to #2. Things got so bad at one point that it led to the infamous Bill Polian press conference where he angrily shouted "Jim Kelly is still our quarterback, Marv Levy is the coach, and everyone else can get out of town!!!!"
  8. In watching Darnold Friday night vs. Washington State you can tell he is nowhere near NFL ready. He was 15 of 29 for only 164 yards, and of those 15 completions, only 3 traveled more than 5 yards in the air. Talk about Captain Checkdown. And he's already thrown 8 INTs on the season, only 1 less than all of 2016. He looks lost out there.
  9. The tank crowd never ceases to amaze me. They ignore the fact that Jacksonville has been drafting in the Top 10 for 10 straight years now, 5 of which have been in the top 5. And drafted two absolute stud, can't miss franchise QBs (or so Mel Kiper and his ESPN cronies told us) in Blaine Gabbert and Blake Bortles. And what did they have to show for it after 9 years? 3-13. And never mind the fact that New England has been drafting from the 30-hole for almost 2 decades now and is inarguably the best team in sports history. Luck? Who is this Luck man you speak of? Is he stil in the NFL?
  10. Texans, Browns and Bears too. They just don't know it yet.
