  1. When you sign Krapondikk, you are bringing a myriad of problems/headaches into your organization. The first would be the ridiculous  media circus that comes with this type of signing. Especially with ESPN trying to be the sports wing for social justice. This will result in every single interview, from OTAs to the end of the season, having some question about this guy. It is the same reason Tebow isn't in the NFL as we speak. The media attention isn't worth the production.

The second headache will be that when you sign him, you will be labelled some kind of a 'phobe'  if you don't end up starting him. The people on the right will abandon the brand for signing him, and the ones on the left will boycott for not playing him. And in the middle will be Russell Wilson trying to survive/explain this debacle. Good luck with that one.

If CK was one of the best in the league, then teams would take a chance. But if you are somewhere between a sub-par starter and good backup, then you need to leave the lime light and be an asset for your organization... put on your ball cap, grab that clip board, and stay out of the headlines. These owners are in this to make money, and if you drastically affect that in a negative way, you probably won't be part of their business strategy going forward.

Not true... you can't legally discriminate based on religion, sex, age, race, etc.... the problem is proving that this had occurred.  Seattle basically said they aren't going to work out Collin because of his stance during the anthem.

That would be like me saying I'm not going to hire any 'gun owners' to my business because I don't believe in the second amendment (this is not true, just an example)

So basically what all Silicon Valley companies do.

Well said. I suppose all of the handsome men on this board feel the need to trash these women who were just in it for the fun. I’m sure all of these posters have models as wives/gf’s. The Jill’s  obviously didn’t have the fake plastic look that you’ll find Miami or LA, but it was just a fun experience for most of these women.

I am 100% positive that there are more than enough beer drinking, wing eating, hardcore Bills fans that would volunteer to make fools of themselves in front of thousands to have amazing access and coverage with the organization. Would you call them saints also?

  4. The worst looking cheerleading group in professional sports history... not missing them one bit. That was the only thing my dolphin fanboy brother could say the dolphins were better than us. We were an embarrassment to cheerleaders world wide. Looked like a bunch of individuals who ‘identified’ as female cheerleaders.

So so I guess my short answer is ‘no’

  5. Yes!!! Let’s keep building our team around nothing at QB. This works great! No position can be a bust in the first round, other than QB. Hell, Aaron Maybin is almost ready to wear a gold jacket. Let’s build a defense that will change styles in 2 years because we can’t score/win and will lead to getting rid of current players for all new ones. And let’s build an O-line that will block for a QB who won’t pull his weight! Great idea... it’s such a great idea that we have done it for the last 17 fricken years! It it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, am I right?!

You're making a awfully big assumption that the player we trade up for will actually be a franchise QB.

But I'm the dumb one.

Yes, that happens a lot, doesn't it?

Let’s play a little game... the last time the Bills won a playoff game was with which QB? And in what round did we draft that QB? Now, how many QBs have we drafted in the first round since then? Like I said, saying we won’t make the playoffs for a couple years if we trade up for a top QB is one of the dumbest thing I have ever read, especially on a Bills forum. So dang dumb.

I just watched a few games of his. I've seen so much hype about the kid but I was left with 3 little words.

    Is. That. It?

Struggles to get open unless it's a zone. Somewhere between an average and below-average athlete. Hit & miss as an inline blocker, likes to play bully ball on DBs though. He's got really good hands but I see a ceiling as an effective TE2 in the NFL. If the price is a 2nd rounder, !@#$ that.

Agree with you. his hands are great, even in traffic, but he runs a little awkward.

  8. If you guys haven't been to a game IN Vegas yet, you need to make it a priority. Even mid-week games are crazy energetic and wild. I have been told by multiple fans of other teams that VGK games in T-Mobile Arena are second to none. The only bad thing about the games are the $18 beers, other than that, we put on one hell of an event. GO KNIGHTS GO!

We'll see ya again. GO SHARKS!!!

Everything going forward is icing on the cake for me with my Golden Knights. I can’t wait to see some exciting games this post season, but I am hoping the cheap shotting, punks from LA don’t make it. Ef them.

I was going to ask how folks have taken to the Knights. Hockey is probably the last sport you would think would work in the desert Southwest. Although the ECHL Wranglers did very well for years at the Orleans Arena.

The town has more than embraced the knights. Every practice, even on weekdays, is standing room only with people waiting out the doors. You can’t go anywhere in town without seeing VGK gear. I am now looking forward to getting the Raiders in 2 years, and a MLB team in 5 years.

You were b*tching that ESPN was pushing soccer.

    I explained why.

I felt that zlatan's kick was better than karlsson's.

    Obviously they did too.

    Right.

    I felt zlatan's was better.

It was an amazing play, in his debut, which he will be under intense scrutiny, to score two great goals and win the game.

Another poster was whining that ESPN is "trying to push the pansy game of soccer" and that was the reason that the NHL play was "only #2" on the top10.

I left that part out, but was just pointing out that ESPN didn't have an agenda in regards to the play ranking.

I think a game winning, short handed, between the leg trick shot to clinch the division as an expansion team was a better play than a straight ahead kick by player in his debut.

Ive seen dozens of kicks like that, but I can’t remember the last time I saw a goal like Karlsson’s.

To each his own, but you’re wrong on which isn’t the better play.

You do realize it's the most popular sport in the world, right?

ESPN is a business, a global business, who's money comes from advertisers, who pay more $$ with ratings.

    Football/soccer is their worldwide cashcow.

The NHL is far and away below any other of the big USA sports (NBA, NFL, MLB), hell wnba games outperform NHL ratings many times.

Regular season MLB games outperformed game 7 of the Stanley cup finals.

Don't get be wrong, I love hockey, but let's not act like football/soccer isn't a much bigger sport.

I am not sure if anything in your answer is an actual direct response to what I said. That was a nice ranting tangent, and yes, I do know that hockey has low ratings compared to other sports, and that soccer is the most popular sport in the world... but, soccer is still a pansy sport that rewards men who act like 3 year olds with a scrapped knee, and Karlsson's goal was a better play than the soccer kick.

  13. Karlsson’s goal made #2 on ESPNs top 10 plays. It should have been number one, but they are really trying to push the pansy game of soccer. But the goal is definitely a must see... shorthanded, trick shot, game winner.

Look at these stats his last two years, particularly completion percentage. Proves the accuracy, right? And it should only drop a few % points in pros, right?

    QB 13 295 434 68.0 3706 8.5 8.8 26 9 155.3l
    QB 13 300 429 69.9 4114 9.6 10.0 37 13 172.9

Wrong...that’s Johnny Maziel’s stats. And he’s slightly taller than Mayfield. Drew Brees and maybe Russel Wilson have been the exceptions. Massive OL to see over, and massive DL’s equals a lot of batted passes; failing that, errant throws since they have to adjust the ball higher above the defender at the line.

Im not sold on Mayfield, and I think we’re bluffing for Allen. Looks at the last drafts visits and who we actually grabbed.

I believe Manziel is 6’0” and Mayfield is 6’1”. Still very close in height, but Manziel is not slightly taller.
