  1. have you all seen that transgender(born male) power lifter who dominated womens competition lifting? or how about that transgendered(born male) MMA fighter who is crushing the female competition. Or to reverse, what about that top ranked female swimmer who is transgender and is now a below average male swimmer. NO female athlete could EVER make it in the NFL or even NBA. Maybe Soccer, because they would actually be tougher than their male counter parts.

Maybe someone can come up with the quote, but a prominent NFL player, RB I think, said something to the effect, "if my momma was on the football field and wearing the opponent's uniform, I would run over her...and I love my momma"

She plays safety so it's on her to do the tackling.  If you're on the football field in a game, I don't think that thought runs through you.  I think it's like "safety between me and the goal line,BAM, stiffarm"  Or if she hits you and you know you've been hit, well then.

Sort of like sparring a girl in Tae Kwon Do, that "oh, hold back" attitude lasts until she nails you then it's like "well all right then, let's go"

I know women athletes who could probably play football if they wanted.  They're feminine, but they're just as big and strong as the guys, 5'11, 6'1.  They say NBA players have a lot of respect for WNBA players - talent knows talent.

That said, at this time she doesn't look like she really has the size and strength for it.  So I say "same".

No you don't, because they don't exist. They can compete with average male athletes, but would never even come close to division 1 talent, let alone professional talent.

Everyone got so excited about that female basketball player from baylor who's 6'9" and could barely dunk... yet you have TONS of highschool boys under 6' who can do crazy dunks. Please don't deny reality, it looks bad.

You are denying that there are exceptional female athletes that are better than average male athletes?  There are certainly faster females than the average male athlete and there are certainly stronger ones too.  Don't be so pessimistic.

No I am not. I am being realistic. Being better than average is not what it takes to make it in the NFL. You need to be the best of the best... and no woman could ever even come close to reaching that level. To deny that is to deny reality. Have fun on LaLa Land... the real world is a little more logical.

you are correct, my opinion doesn't make you that.... your opinion makes you that. It is delusional at best

From what you posted first time, yes. Bills have 19 players players UNDER 200 pounds.  It appears you have a double standard or are skewing data to fit scenario.

There are 62 women in MNBA from 70.9"/180 pounds to 77.2"/250 pounds who physically could match up to players in NFL if they desire as well had opportunities (including scholarships) like men in college.  I am sure there are in other sports as well but choose MNBA because it is easiest sport to transition to NFL given number of TEs, etc has data accessible and a sport which requires speed.

NO woman could ever even come close to matching up with an NFL player. I can't tell if you are joking, or just an insane delusional wacko.

I have a feeling it will move permanently to LA once the palace is in place that the Rams are building (and Chargers are renting). I think they are going to move both the Combine and Draft there. And will host a ton of SBs. They already have a studio going in there for NFLN.

Unfortunately for LA, they can't even come close to Vegas in entertainment and hosting giant events. Even the MWC, PAC 12, WAC, and WCC all host their conference basketball tournaments in Vegas. LA is just another New York, but nothing compares to Vegas. LA will be good for corporate offices, but Las Vegas will be the primary entertainment spot. People don't usually don't make plans to travel across the country to visit LA, unless they are taking their kids to disneyland, but they do for Vegas. I guarantee Las Vegas will be a bigger draw than anything LA would hope to do.

  6. This thread should be renamed,”I dislike Allen so here’s a guy with a microphone who dislikes him too. I want everyone to know I really dislike our player. But Incase I’m wrong and look like a total jacka$$, I will say that I hope I’m wrong.”

nevermind, that would never too long of a title. Dumb thread though, but I’m glad I posted in it.

Sabres would have loved a crack at Fluery on waivers. So would other teams.

League welfare get 2-year in a row SC champ.  Who wouldn't take him?

Goalie is everything in hockey.  I see he pitched another shutout.

and how many weeks was he out with a concussion when we kept winning?

Nothing like a welfare handout to a new team... Everybody else builds thru draft, and new team gets exclusive rights to other team's players.

Kinda like back in day where Habs had exclusive rights to players out of Quebec... Probably why they were so good.

I love social welfare, just NOT in sports. Build from draft and compete for free agents with everybody else.  No leg up.

Like the system wasn't rigged by crooked League to bolster a new team... While others labor and work at it.

Don't give me that bullshat. Even after we picked all of our players, Vegas was predicted to finish bottom 5 in the NHL. The Vegas sports books had us 300/1 to win the Stanley Cup. Not 1 expert had the Golden Knights even finishing 500. So take your sour grapes and shove it. We worked for where we are at, and with our GM/Coach, we will also build through the draft and dominate for years to come. Name 1 star that we got... an aging goalie who everyone said his best years were behind him? Heck, how many games did we play(and win) with our 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th string goalies while Fluery was out?! We have a group of castaways and have been spanking big name franchise players since day 1. Hopefully the Sabres can get to a wild Card birth with Eichel and another gifted hand out from the draft this year. How many years of tanking before the Sabres decide it is time to try and actually play, instead of going for lottery picks? Our plan was to make the playoffs in 3 years and the Stanley Cup in 5... but I guess we have more grit than a bunch of big names.

I do like the fact that the Vegas Golden Knights don't have a Captain. Our coach made it a point that no 1 player is above the rest. That mentality has caught on team wide. Go Knights... Ef the haters.

  9. Go Knights Go!!! It was a hard fought series having to play against the stripes and the sharks, but we prevailed. On to the conference championship! I was just hoping to not get embarrassed in the first round, but now anything is possible!!! Awesome year!

Please, oh please let me know what college produces great NFL QBs. Especially in the last 20 years. Has any college produced more than 1 great NFL QB since 2000? Because if this is the criteria for future success, then it’s safe to say that no QB will succeed because their college doesn’t produce HOF QBs on a regular basis. Such a terrible argument. What college produces these great QBs?!

Who were the great Tennessee QBs before Peyton Manning?

how many great Michigan QBs followed Tom Brady?

Ben Rothlesberger came from a QB farm.

Purdue must still be pumping out fantastic prospects after Brees got drafted.

Auburn has a long line of HOF QBs too, right? Cam can’t be their first good QB...

Judging a QBs potential by the success of previous QBs from their college is the dumbest thing you can do, let alone post on a public forum. That’s just lazy and offensively stupid.

I like Darnold as a QB but it is weird how no USC QB besides Carson Palmer has had a lot of success at the NFL level and even Palmer wasn't a resounding hall of fame player (1 career playoff win although certainly some good seasons throughout his career.) Each player is their own and if I were the Jets I wouldn't start him at all this season. Have him learn for a year maybe toss him in for 2-4 games at the back end of the season. Then I would spend a bunch of money and draft picks to build up the talent around him. Similar to what I want the Bills to do with Allen.

They didn't overpay but if they would of let the Cards take Allen Rosen would have feel right in our laps at 12. Even if we moved up to 10 to get Rosen it would of costed at the most a 4th rd pk. So at the end of the day Rosen and 2 2s or the project Allen and no 2s i think most Bills fans would of liked scenario 1 more.

    I think you’re wrong

The analysis is that their running game was horrible, yet they ran the ball more than they passed despite playing several horrible pass defenses.

HEY, IT'S JROBER!!! the eternal pessimist piece of garbage! Glad to see you over here on this board! I see you are still the exception to natural selection... yeesh, cut those wrists already.

What do you think New England had to do to be that dominant for 15 years?! Animal sacrifice, blood drinking, Ouija board spirit communication and there is probably some occult stuff going around. Like that symbol on the field...

I believe Kraft, Billicheat, and Brady all had spawned sacrificial newborns and offered them up the day after Bledsoe and company beat them all those years ago.
