TE i would absolutely love is Hayden Hurst

He is a fantastic blocker, but his athleticism seems average. If we drafted him, I would hope it would be to fill a role as a blocking TE who can catch, and not as a play making TE. This would be a really good draft to snag a couple of TEs, and maybe get rid of Clay’s contract.

At this point who the hell knows.....but I'll say this, while I'm not a big Mayfield fan because I think his stupid antics are childish behavior are causes for concern - in that can he mature and grow into a true NFL leader of men on and off the field - and I'm concerned even more about his ability to pass from a collapsing pocket that doesn't have a 3 yard circumference to pass from, you can't ignore that he has good arm strength, good accuracy, and real tenacity to compete. Those are things I can support. As for the rest, I have to hope he can be smarter, mature, and of course that he'll be able to pass from a dirty pocket (ooooooh, that sounded like a Vegas strip club :D).....

And in the end, I don't understand people who say, "If the Bills Draft ______, I'm so done with this team!".....the Bills Draft him, I will support him until he proves he doesn't deserve it. Whether I agree, like or dislike the selection, because at the end of the day, he hasn't even worn the jersey on the field yet, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. This also goes for if the Bills stand pat at 12 and take a MLB like Smith and keep all their picks....either way, Beane and company have my vote of confidence...IMHO, they've earned it.

Actually, Vegas takes pride in their strip clubs. Very classy.

Since you are the most trusted person to talk to about ( bust/shine ) I would love to hear your output on couple of QB’s !

    # 1 Mayfield

    # 2 Rosen

I think both are going to be really good NFL prospects. I like Baker a little more, because he is very, very, very accurate. That, in my opinion, should be the number one factor to look for in a QB prospect. You can teach other stuff, but accurate throwing seems like it is something you’re born with. Plus, the dude is very passionate about winning.

On a side note, to toot my own horn again, I was telling anyone who could listen that Eric Ebron is nowhere near worth a 1st round pick. He was a 3rd round grade TE in a terrible TE draft class. But because he was the best of a mediocre group, people wanted to WAY overreach for him. Thank goodness the Lions saved us from that one.

This dude's agility is fantastic for a guy his size. He outperformed almost all RBs in the shuttles at the combine. He's tough, can catch, break tackles, and is a gamer. Seems like a Billacheat type guy, but I am hoping we can snag him before the Pats as a Phenomenal H-Back. This guy is my ultimate late round gem. And since I am the most trusted and reliable person to talk to about who will bust and who will shine, please take note.

    LOL.

    Got my laughing there.

    Yes I read posts.

Whatever you read that person is reaching too.

There are too many moving parts here for them to have worked out a deal like that ahead of time.

    That's all I'm saying.

I do think that them having a deal worked out before hand is a stretch. But, they could have talked about what they may consider for trading back. No deals, just a starting point to start making deals. I think we are actually on the same page, kind of. These GMs are talking draft as soon as the season ends, sometimes even before that, and the combine is a great place to really pick the brains of other GMs who are forced to be in the same location for a week. It's basically an unofficial GM convention to discuss team business.

So you're saying we worked a deal with the Giants for #2 that also involved is first trading into the #12-14 slot, and we had to do that without giving up our #22 pick, or any other draft capital?

Jesus Christ you people really reach.

Do you not read entire posts? I am not saying that. It's what I have read. I can't confirm or deny it. I can't even say to what degree it is possible. which is also what I said in my post. I just mentioned that it's not impossible.

If your job depended on finding the right QB for your team, would you not do your due diligence and talk with every team that you may trade up with and see what they expect for their pick? That seems like basic 101 type stuff. Did I mention our 22nd pick or other draft capitol? no. You are putting words in my mouth because you are thin skinned. If you reply and quote me, do it accurately please.

PS: What do you mean by 'You People'?!!?! just kidding, I'm not as thin skinned as others around here. You can use slurs all you want.

So explain how they "probably worked something out at the combine" yet nothing happened yet??

Or how Buffalo traded with Cincinnati to move up to #12, if the Giants deal had already been worked out?

I swear to Christ people don't even think before coming up with speculation anymore.

From what I have read, but definitely have not confirmed, is that the Bills Brass talked with teams at the top of the draft and inquired about how far back they were willing to move. from this, they new they needed to be around the 12th pick to trade up without selling the farm. That set the machine in motion to talk to all the teams close to the 12th pick who were willing to make a deal... Cincy said they would be our Huckleberry, and we procured that position. Now that the Bills are in a palpable draft spot to trade up, top teams are more willing to wheel and deal.

So if the Giants said they wouldn't trade back any further than the 12th-14th spot, then Buffalo had to find another dance partner before they could swing with the Giants. Maybe the Giants guaranteed the Bills a trade if they were able to do so at the combine. I don't know if that is what happened, but it is not as outrageous as it seems.

again, I have no sources, but there is a possibility that it happened... to what percent of a possibility, I have no idea.

  8. Now for the only opinion that actually matters and that anyone should take seriously.... mine.

Best QBs in this draft in order:

    1. Darnold

    2. Mayfield

    3. Rosen

    4. Allen/Jackson tie

Rosen, being ranked 3, is still better than any QB we have seen come out in the last few years, so trading up and getting a top 3 QB this year would be like getting the best player in the draft the last few years. I say trade up somewhere in the 1st 4 picks and grab who is left. Boom!

PS: from a different thread, I preached to everyone how D. Lee from OSU was the most overrated LB I have seen hyped up in some time. So pats on the back are definitely needed. thank you.

  9. It's funny how the Dems only cared about Russia when they go blind sided by Trump winning. Before that time, they loved them some Russian dealings. If they could have made us the USSR 2.0, they would have.

Hopefully Odumbo and Killary find some jail time for this. She should already have been behind bars for Benghazi and murdering that guy leaking info to Wikileaks.

  10. Extremely overstated and "snowflake" is such a stupid/divisive term that's sullying the movie Fight Club for me. Those that won't watch football because of some players kneeling during the anthem aren't huge football fans to begin with.

Not true at all on your last point. I live and breathe Bills/NFL. At least I used to. 50% of my clothes are Bills apparel. I had XM radio just so I could listen to NFL talk all year long. But I had to cut the cord when these snowflakes made it about politics and hating our country, and not about football.

PS: snowflake is the perfect term for these hypersensitive nut jobs.

  11. This Russia conspiracy is all we need to know about the lunacy of the left. ALL facts point to nothing, in fact Hillary has far more Nefarious relationships with Russia. But the delicate little snowflakes need to grasp onto something as they try and cope with the fact that Trump won...
