That would be a neat trick to pull off in a country whose citizens have such a hard on for owning guns. I'd also say a main component is working with providing mental health services which is so often the issue. Not to mention the fact that the other issue with gun ownership is the massive number of suicides and accidents.

I guess my main beef with Libs is that they are constantly trying to control and run everyone else’s lives. I am more libertarian than republican. There are a lot of things the Republican establishment does that I disagree with. I have always believe in live and let live. And the people control the government, not the other way around.

So without guns, suicides stop? More lives are saved by guns than are taken by suicide or accidents.

News Flash... It's Las Vegas, of course they had them @ 500/1.  It's a crooked city.

Sure makes sense, the sports books love to lose money... I’m not sure if you are being serious here. How does it benefit Vegas to lose a TON of money?

    this should be good.

It's really one player that is anchoring the team right now... And he's won the last two Cups.

Teams should have been allowed to offer up their scrubs.  Not good prospects.  Why give the better pieces to the expansion draft your competitor? Build from scratch. Like past expansions.

By that logic, LA Kings should have beaten us with Quick. Wonder why they didn’t.

Wow really how about having an actual conversation about it.

There is clearly a place between where we are now and taking all the guns away.

There actually isn’t. The end game is total gun control. This is an actual conversation. How many school shooters used extended clips and bump stocks? How many school shootings would have been prevented by proposed gun legislation? And vice versa, how many lives have been saved by citizens using personal firearms?

Now that I think about it, that kid that shot up the school a couple months ago wasn’t disqualified to purchase a gun because Obama made a law that discouraged schools from reporting violent crimes because its racist. Good call.

Explain what you think net neutrality is...

here’s an article that can help you out, since you don’t know. If you need my assistance any further, just let me know.

Well I'm willing to acknowledge that I have no way of knowing how exactly you perceive me but I will say I like the competition of capitalism it drives progress and helps provide better services at better prices. I dislike how communism tends towards no motivation to improve your station in life through legitimist means.

More on topic however I'd say I have trouble distinguishing who I like less politicians or cable companies.

I mean yeah I think there should be some regulation to prevent the situation we find ourselves in now where cable companies don't really compete with each other and don't try to improve their service and just work on ways to increase their bottom line through cutting cost or taking control of the market.

I just don't see how they're likely to improve things once Net Neutrality goes away.

I really appreciate your response. Seriously. I apologize for being aggressive towards you. I see your point. I feel getting rid of Net Neutrality opens up the playing field for a more competitive market, and will drive prices down, and encourage innovation.

Gun control was that the topic...or the obvious direction the topic dives into?

Amazing how it is only gun free zones that get targeted. Didn’t these murderers read those signs?! At least this last shooter used that horrible AR 15, and not the acceptable revolver and shotgun. Right? Let’s just take all guns away like Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and every other tyrannical dictator did. I bet the Jews in Germany were happy they gave up their guns in 1930s Germany.

I'd say if absolute Capitalism and absolute socialism(the economy in Communism) don't work then perhaps the solution is somewhere in the middle.

I’m willing to bet you lean way more to one side. And if given an inch, Che would even seem conservative after all is said and done.

Yes when has capitalism to an extreme ever backfired...surely not within the last decade...and government intervention would definitely not be necessary bail it out I mean that'd just be embarrassing.

I would fault on the side of freedom and less government control over tyranny and more government control every day of the week.

Golden Knights = Welfare Queens.  Even expansion Seattle wants same sweetheart deal now.

I guess, now you can enjoy what the people in ghetto feel when other peeps work and kick in.

    "It takes a League (Village)"

Ah, yes. But this would be like turning a welfare check into a million dollar business. Where most use their welfare checks to be lazy and leach, we used our check to better ourselves, overachieve, and prove everyone wrong. When Vegas sports books have you at 500/1 to win the Stanley Cup at the begging of the season, then I’m gonna guess that you didn’t think we had an all star team either. How many goals did Karlsson have last year? 6? Yup, there’s an all-star.

Do any of you know what net Neutrality is?

Yup. But a globalist commie like yourself hates anything free market related. If only your utopia of Russia, Cambodia, Venezuela, N. Korea, Cuba, Etc., Etc., Etc., ever actually worked. Your hatred of people wanting to succeed is terrible. Im just glad not everyone thinks like you, wishing the entire world was poor.

I just was reading an article and something struck me as really disturbing. The article says "The bloodshed 30 miles south of houston is the worst mass shooting in America since February....."

WTF is going on inside of these kids heads?

Breakdown in society. God is slowly being eliminated from our lives, so something has to fill the void. The left is doing its hardest to break up families and promote immorality. Horribly tragic and heartbreaking, but not surprising.

only the NHL would bugger up the intended punishment of an expansion team by gifting them a championship run

Yup, they really gifted it to us. Heck, after we selected all of our players, every single expert had us pegged to be a lottery pick. They all said we would be MORE than lucky to even break .500... jealousy looks bad on you, btw

Knights looked a little tired in the 3rd. Stuck it out though.  Very good team. Very tough to play against. When I watch them it always seems they have one more player on the ice than the opposition. So quick to the puck.

Yeah, we were a little gassed there at the end, but thank goodness for Fluery. Hopefully we will have Perron back on Friday.

Well he did grade out pretty well last season in run blocking, maybe that Chargers game was just a bad day at the office for him.

He made a point to sabotage Peterman because he wanted Tyrod to start. Don’t know if it’s because Nathan was white, or if he was just a close buddy with Taylor. But it was very easy to see that he played bad on purpose.

I think this this is the best/correct part - yes there is that 0.01% on the farthest part of the female athletic spectrum that would match up with the a mid to lower level NFL player at certain positions.

You are spot on and as you stated the issue is that elite level female athlete will most likely not be trying out for the NFL because the opportunity is not really there - she will be playing in a more female focused league like the WNBA where she can be elite.

The issue with everyone saying something can not be done is because it has not been done.  There are definitely limitations to how a female could fit on a football field, but if they are talented enough to play in High School and they can get a college scholarship then take it as far as you can.  As barriers break then others that are closer to the 0.01% may try and you may one day see the barrier broken.

You are 100% wrong. There is NO woman on the entire planet who can match even the worst athlete on a NFL field. Just like there is not a single woman who can make it in the men’s European League of Basketball, let alone NBA. You are grasping at ideologies and not actual common sense.
