  1. I'm still confused about what injustices they are talking about.

Is it that blacks kill blacks at a much higher rate than any other race here in the USA?

Or is it that black males who make up 8%of the population here in the USA commit 50% of the violent crimes?

Or is it that almost twice as many unarmed white males are shot by the police than black males?

Or is it that if you are black, you can score lower on any aptitude/qualification test here in the USA, and because you are black, you jump ahead of others who out performed you?

Or are they upset with this Asian centric constitution that has allowed asians to be the most successful culture in the USA?(just kidding about the constitution being Asian centric, but it does debunk the "white constitution" argument that supposedly keeps minorities down, as the average Asian income is above the average white income.)

Hmmm, doesn't seem to be too many responses on actual facts of why they are protesting. Sorry to quote myself, but was just wondering if anyone in support of Kaps position could clarify... other than that it is his right. It is also his right to eat his own feces, which makes about as much sense as his protest.

  2. Democrats love keeping blacks in poverty on their projects plantations, only appealing to them every 4 years. Their welfare/abortion politics is meant to keep blacks poor, uneducated, and mindless followers. And it's working. Stay on the plantation the democrats built black people.

Heaven forbid you take on personal responsibility, hard work, pride in community and family, and rise from the slums that the elites of the left want you to stay on. Keep those Obama phones, food stamps, and government checks that guarantee you never a chance to succeed.

As long as big brother gives you a free ride, keep spouting "racism" to try and get more free stuff. Hopefully a few more hurricanes come about so the poor, descriminated BLM crew can rescue more Jordans from those oppressive shoe stores.

  3. One guy can do that. Impressive. How brave of Trump to say that at a rally in Alabama. Maybe he should spend his time doing his homework on the health care bill being proposed so he can help sell it to the nation and hesitant senators because it's polling at an abysmal number right now. I'll continue watching football despite my disgust for the players kneeling. It happens to be their right under the 1st amendment.

1st amendment, yes. But they are representing a company, with team/league logos and uniform. Their political protests can ABSOLUTELY be shut down during the anthem.

  5. Concussions aside, of the NFL stands the test of time, it won't be because of viewers with mindsets like yours. It will be your kids and grandkids. As a business, and a longstanding one, it's important to be ahead of the market.

This may be a "prevelant" view of your generation, but it is. It the prevailing thought of those younger than you. Buckle up, the world is about to throw you for a loop as you age.

Ahead of the market, like Target, ESPN, Starbucks, General Mills, Hollywood... seems like getting ahead of the market on SJW issues leads to massive layoffs, drop in stocks/viewers, and overall terrible business strategy. But let's see how it works out for them Cotton.

Nineteen years ago I met a man named Mark and his wife Lee. Mark is a college professor. I believe Lee is also, or at the very least she is educated and holds a professional position. We'd bumped into each other on an internet forum. They were coming to town because they were adopting a newborn, so we decided to meet. They are white. Their son is black.

Today their son is in college. He is a smart, handsome, athletic young man. He's on the football team. They are so proud of him. He sports an Afro hairstyle, which suits him.

In today's America, this young man is still a target for some people because of the color of his skin, his imposing size or even his hairstyle. I am sure his parents worry about that. Hell, I worry about it, because I have photos of him as a sweet baby and know he's been brought up to be a good person. And, in today's America, this fine young man could end up dead just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or because he looks like someone else, or...just because.

That's today's America. That's not saying America is a bad place. It's saying that this is a festering sore that will never heal until we face up to the issues, acknowledge they exist (even if they don't impact YOU) and commit to resolve them. We are so much better together than at each other's throats.

Black males make up about 8% of the population in the US, yet commit about 50% of the violent crimes. But even with this in mind, unarmed WHITE males are almost twice as likely to be shot by the Police than unarmed black males. So where exactly is this injustice. It is based on emotions and not facts.

  6.

Actually, it's not a fact. He is indeed IN the NFL. Obviously someone(s) with more influence than us thinks he does belong there.

It's a fact that he doesn't belong. It's also a fact that he is in the NFL. You can be somewhere, and not belong there. I can be in the women's restroom, but I don't belong there.
