And I disagree with McDermott on the decision. And for the record, I like Peterman. McCarron is the better player and he should have gotten the courtesy start, imo.
AJ is longer tenured, has had more career success, and is widely regarded as the better player.

Did Peterman distinguish himself over AJ in practice? Not to my knowledge. All things being equal, the senior guy should get the start.
I get the Bama jealousy. Racking up National Championships does that.
Q: What separates a good team from a great team? A: The Florida-Alabama border. source: http://www.jokes4us.com/miscellaneousjokes/worldjokes/alabamajokes.html
I looked for the link on the negotiations he was doing on the bar/nightclub when he was in BHM for his brother’s funeral, but couldn’t find it. I reported on it at the time, but there was surprisingly little outrage.
I am Alabama fan and I had little sympathy for Dareus. The watershed for me was when he showed up to camp fat and out of shape and then worked on a deal to buy another bar in BHM when he was on leave for his brother's funeral. Buying a bar shouldn't be part of the grieving process.
Rat poison, lol. Can't get overconfident.
