He would be perfect for the Bills' backfield.

Weird, the same people that approve of alligator hunting because an "okay" has been granted, will be out for blood if you kick a Labrador.
Strange world, indeed.

I'd sign Burfict for a day just so he could lay a dirty hit on Gronk.
***** Gronk!

Watson is the Franchise, the future.
If the team actually gets it together and starts to rise, the fans will forgive if not forget. Winning changes everything.
If the team trades Watson, their chance to get it together and rise drop enormously.
If they trade Watson, get a Top 3 pick in return (let's say Trevor Lawrence), get it together and begin to rise, the fans would forgive if not forget about Watson's departure and the FO's handling of things, right?
The Franchise, the future doesn't want to be there and this doesn't strike me as being a situation where simply winning appeases Watson, it desire to leave seems deeper than that.

Actually the player the fanbase respected and most WANTED the Texans to trade was JJ Watt last year, they wanted him to end his career with a winner. Watson on the other hand is the future, he goes the entire teams could be lucky to win a game next year.
Is that to say that the hatred they have for the FO now extends to Watson because he no longer wants to deal with it?
Are those the sentiments being expressed by Texans' fans?

And for the rest of the post...
I don't follow that team, but I do know that Watson is a good guy---unless I'm missing something--- and has given his all for that org. That's usually the type of player fans get behind.

We know they don't have to trade him, right?
I think they do.
QB is unlike any other position in football, it's the face of the franchise as we know. I don't think the Texans' front office would like to be known as the FO that oddly disrupted the cohesion of the team and refused to let cut ties with a player who has done his part in the Houston community and on the field, and has a fanbase that respects him and probably understands his position of wanting to start over somewhere else.

January 4th, same time as Stills.
"I think he played with Josh in Wyoming" is a bit of an understatement. In Gentry's Sr year 2016, he was Josh's "Guy". 1326 yds from Josh, 14 TDs, and enough highlights to get signed to the Bears PS as an UDFA.
You know that TD Josh threw low and away to Diggs to go ahead in the AZ game? There's a clip of that same throw from Allen, wearing gold and brown, to Gentry.
I think Josh Allen's talent makes him the equivalent of a point guard who makes just average players look good; those qualities plus Gentry's familiarity with Allen could have him performing better in a Bills uni.

When was Tanner Gentry signed? I think he played with Josh in Wyoming.

11 straight FG's made now, I think. Bass is legit.

Like the way he finds holes.
Dislike his lack of breakaway speed.
Like his blocking.
Dislike his tendency to fumble.
Like the way he picks up yards in chunks.
Dislike that he can't seem to find the end zone.
Is he a legit starter?
Is he "just a guy"
Is he a victim of poor run blocking?
Enlighten me.
If you can't insert any back from the past five rosters into the lineup and get the same production, than he can't be just a guy.
He needs to work on the fundamentals of securing the ball, but "just a guy"?
What do your eyes tell you?
Do you really need him removed from the lineup again to realize how important he is to the offense?
If nothing else, the timing of this thread is bizarre, considering he was the team's leading rusher and receiver out the backfield.
-
I don't like the feel of this. That's all I'll say. Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.
-
Why does this thread read like the Bills are in second place, three games behind some other division leader?
-
I'm voting Bass in.

Pete Gogolak?

Daboll's kept the fire burning on offense, Frazier hasn't on defense.
The spirit of the entire defense is not the same from seasons past; the same foggy-headed unit that can't stop the run is also out there defending the pass.
It's a trickle-down effect the way I see it.
Crazy to associate Tre D's contribution this season on a contract that he earned from years of hard work and dedication throughout his career.

I think of Bass as the kicker version of Josh Allen.

The Dolphins have always been and will always be the team I hate most in our division.

Dude he’s still bad lol. No one is trying to deny he made an amazing/season changing play for the Bills. And we’re all super pumped about it.
Both can be correct
We can't both be correct. He's either bad or he's not. Bad players don't bring anything to the table, Zimmer does.

He may be the best 1 technique the Bills have. There’s your clarification. He’s not better than Oliver. You’re not getting double talk. Zimmer still is not good, but he did make an amazing play. Let it go instead of trying to continue to keyboard warrior.
Agreed on Edmunds lol. He’s been shaky at best.
Here we go. Lol
How about you give our players a chance before dogging them out.

I don't doubt it, I just don't remember it.
It'll be hard for me to forget Zimmer's potentially game-saving play against Bellichick.
Thanks and Farewell to Matt Barkley

I dreaded the thought of him entering when trailing late in a winnable game; I like Barkley as much as any former Bill that didn't contribute to negativity on-field, but the Barkley love is a bit strange.
Wasn't exactly Frank Reich.
