If the Bills went down the veteran route for RB2 (Yeldon and/or a free agent), I wouldn't hate them spending a 7th on JaMycal Hasty from Baylor.

I think he's quicker than his timed speed. Nice route runner, decent hands. Probably a guy suited to being an RB3 or on the PS as a rookie. Let him work on his pass pro technique. Could be a nice little investment piece for the future.

JaMychal Hasty's who I've got also. I'd be VERY, VERY surprised if he fell to the 7th; I think he's a 3rd-4th rd prospect.

He's just as small as Devin Singletary, good vision like Motor, but powerful and faster. That's just me. I'm cool if they take an RB in the 2nd, but if they don't, JaMychal Hasty's my pick if still available later.

With all the discussion about Diggs (rightfully so) and how good our WR group is compared to those around the league, I think Dawson Knox is not getting his due.

I think Knox, with just one year in the NFL, is set for a breakout season. We quickly forget that he didn't get many balls thrown to him in his college career. He caught just 15 passes and 0 TDs behind a complete stud WR corp at Old Miss. The Bills recognized this diamond in the rough but, I think, also realized that he wouldn't become a solid catching TE in his first season. Nonetheless, I think he had a great rookie year (28 catches and 2 TDs). He was 15th in the league in yards per reception.

Did he drop a bunch of catches? Yes. According to Fox Sports, he was 3rd in drops with 10 (~25% drop rate, yikes). However, it's not like he had a lot of opportunities in game time situations in his career. If Knox can clean up the drops this year along with having a much stronger receiving corp, Knox is likely to have a breakout year.

Instead of off-season workouts, the Bills should just ship him 25 footballs and this:

Maybe he didn't get many balls thrown at him in college because it was known that he was just average catching a high number of passes.

Not sure great hands are developed in the league...I think you either have them entering the league, or you won't for a career.

I'd be stoked if his hands developed with the rest of his game, but my gut feeling is that we may be forced to  appreciate him for what he does bring to the table until the position is upgraded.

I'm crossing my fingers though and hoping for the best.

He's the same size as Singletary why would yo want 2 backs the same size i would rather go with a veteran back that is a bit bigger to ave the size for the tough yards & the veteran leadership to mentor the younger guys or just bring up the international player Wade from the PS I think he would do fine with one year of learning under his belt ..

I worry that the Bills will reach for a player such as AJ Dillon just because of his size, passing on a more dynamic, but undersized guy.

Gotta go for talent over size if it's sitting there IMO.

I think Ruggs elite speed will make him a 1st rounder similar to where marquis brown was taken. I see guys like Higgins, Shenault, Pittman in the 2nd. Lamb and Jeudy in the 1st..

When I mentioned a player going early 2nd rd or late 1st I was talking about Antonio Gandy-Golden; I also could see Pittman going 2nd.

I think Ruggs' touted speed will make him a 1st round pick, but watching his highlights, he brings Sammy Watkins to mind; I see a deep threat player who may not grade out as elite in the NFL in spite of that much talked about speed.

I like this kid, wo der where he falls, but I want Ruggs. He would be our Tyrek Hill.

I see him as an early 2nd with the potential to go late 1st rd.

Ruggs reminds me of Sammy Watkins out of college when I watch his highlights.

So tell me what you liked from Kroft in which highlights, and what you mean by "a bit more wide open"

I misstated what I actually watched on Kroft to form my opinion on him when we first signed him; they were actually samples of team highlights that involved him, which gave me an idea of the type of player we were getting: a player with good hands and some quickness.

By a bit more wide open, I mean by resembling offenses who aggressively look to carve up the opposition through the air (ex., Saints, Chiefs, Buccaneers), versus passing a bunch with the intent of getting your young QB in a rhythm and throwing with confidence, while failing to establish overall balance and rhythm on offense in the process; I think there are a bit of passing plays in the Bills' playbook that lack big-play potential simply because of the sets used.
