  1. Shorter looks like a possession receiver at worst, but I'll take a WR who can keep the chains moving or keep the yards-to-go low. His hands strike me as being good in open space and decent when challenged. Route running on short to intermediate routes appears to be one of his stronger attributes; doesn't look like a speed demon, but he's gotten on top of his man a few times in his highlights.

It'll be interesting to see how he produces if given an opportunity to be on the field with the other guys on offense. Gabe Davis just doesn't separate easily or regularly enough, at over 6'3", Shorter could make life easier for him and Diggs if he can add to the receptions count.

If there's anybody that can make Shorter look better than advertised--- if his highlight attributes hold up--- it's Josh Allen.

Our soon to be 24 year old rookie receiver who has 1500 yards and 8 tds in 5 college seasons (he could have stayed another year) who is clearly an upgrade over Gabe Davis. Let’s keep up!

and I have nothing against Shorter but we’re grasping at straws here.

Who is and what do you mean by "grasping at straws"?

  3. Mahomes crying the entire post-conference interview about Toney being called for the infraction. Whining about how Kelce won't get the enjoyment of seeing his throw be replayed on ESPN a million times. Guess this is the reaction of his team not getting calls or having calls go against them.

If dude doesn't get fined something heavy for criticism of the refs, I swear.

It’s a freakin shame this guy doesn’t get more national coverage. Leonard Floyd has been the best player on this defense since Milano went down with Ed Oliver a close 2nd. He’s already got 10 sacks w/ 5 games still remaining. Should have more if not for the blatant holding by the Eagles. The guy just produces everywhere he goes and yet the media hardly mentions him even though he’s having a career year on a team 2nd in the league in sacks. It’s great to have players on defense that the opp offense needs to game plan around. Say what you want about the Bills, McD, Beane, whoever, but their D-line has finally come to fruition. If they can somehow squeak into the WC then they will be a very dangerous team. I just get that 2012 Giants vibe for some reason.

Damn, you dump on Von Miller but make no direct mention of him in the actual post.  The man had a major injury, but was every bit of effective when he was healthy.

You won't give the benefit of the doubt?

  5. I don't know if I'm alone with this, but when TB walked onto the field with that little bit of time on the clock left I said to myself, "I don't like this (x3)".

There was just this feeling that something stupid was going to happen and I was bracing myself so that the bewilderment to follow wouldn't catch me off-guard.

Crazy how close something stupid came to happening.

  6. Bass has always worried me.

I think Bills fans' are willing to dismiss his kicking until he comes up short in a big game. Pretty much how fans started complaining about how Cook couldn't break tackles during a low point this season, although all the evidence of it was there his rookie season, when fans were willing to accept the lack of that attribute for the othsers that he has.

I always hold my breath when Bass is kicking because there's just this feeling that the kick can go either way.

Breaking news! Dolphins fans think Dolphins will win.

Threads like this are so dumb

Why are you going at a fellow Bills fan???

The Dolphins have always been the rival I hated the most from the days of Marino and it ramped up around the time Flutie was Qb'ing, that was w/o fan influence.

These Dolphins fans' sound hella obnoxious with their new-found success reading that thread. It's a little more than thinking they'll win, it's more, "the Bills ain't *****, disregard that defense because it can't hang with us, let's trust the media talking heads who support our theory of their defense being overrated, Josh Allen is an idiot, and Ken Dorsey has done nothing to alter the offensive philosophy, 'James Cook, who's that?", it's all on Allen and we all know that without him playing at an elite level----which he won't--- the Bills have no shot".

I got love for Tua but f these new Dolphins, their head coach and his shades, and its fanbase.

For as much as this franchise teaches family and 1 Buffalo BS, they bailed on their family the first sign of trouble. Without a real trial mind you. That’s bad juju that can only be reversed by making things whole with the universe. Do the right thing.

Yeah, I remember how bad I felt for Araiza. They just abandoned the guy to clear up the image of the org. when standing by him would have solidified the org. and fanbase as tight-knit: Buffalo vs. Everybody.

Just a weak move on the FO's part and Matt hasn't even been proven to have done any wrong.

Seeing how long the Nathan Peterman saga was allowed to last (oh, and I was a big supporter of Peterman) via McDermott, I know he has to think about how Matt was discarded the way he was.

Let’s do it! Break the curse and make the universe right.

They need to stop playing around and just do it. We know McD is a 2nd chances guy, we just need to do what's right.
