Did ever occur to the "Why do we keep bringing in Ex-Panthers?" crowd that this is a COVID year, and logic would tend to indicate that it might actually be slightly more difficult to get to know potential signees. In past years, I, too, have laughed at the Carolina Express. In this oddball year, with all the restrictions on bringing players in, it actually kind of makes sense to bring in people you have worked with in the past. Just a shred of logic to chew on.

@Ed_Formerly_of_Roch I guess the silver lining, here, is that pass-rushing DT's are drafted early. Run-stuffing behemoths, with little statistical impact, tend to drop to later rounds. We may be fortunate in that we have guys like Oliver and Jefferson, who are more pass-rushing DT-capable, and our need is in a less-draft-expensive role: run-stuffing two-gappers. Just a note of positivity in the sea of negativity we've been swimming in.

I think we're just loud, in general. Squeaky wheel gets the oil.

If we want to count some positives out of that joke of a game: -Special teams was excellent! Andre Roberts had solid returns and protected the ball. Tyler Bass made some long ones, and the clutch shot at the end, to seal it. -Our 3rd Quarter was decidedly unlike any 2020 Bills 3rd Quarter, in that we decided not to pop a slew of Zannies at halftime... we actually came out of the gates in the 3rd Quarter with energy. -It took 26 quarters of football, but our defense is finally what the kiddos out there might term "woke". -My wife somehow decided not to leave me, after the excessive cursing fest I slung at the refs and our putrid red zone "offense"... -Bills won. Titans lost. Go 49ers. On to New England!
