  1. I'm in the minority that actually thinks the Raiders will do well in LV. Tons of visitors every day to that town. I don't think they will be thought of as a Pro Sports team rather than an attraction to see like Blue Man Group or 2 Moes 1 Tiger.

You are right. I think the stadium will be sold out for every game for years. But not with Raiders fans. And possibly without people. This means that all the season tickets will always sell out. But whether people sit in the seats is another question. My family will put in for the lottery for season tickets and if they get them, they wil sell the tickets or give them to out of town friends most of the time. That's how Vegas is. Conventions, tourist parties, etc.

  2. How could Goodell let us down week 1 ?

Kraft needs to take him off the payroll.

    Patriots Penalties:

Method: This data reports the Penalties called on New England and their weekly opponents. It specifically reports the number of subjective penalty calls, which include Holding, Pass Interference, Unnecessary Roughness, Unsportsmanlike Conduct, Taunting, Illegal Blocks. This means that these infractions can either be called on every play and are completely at the discretion of the official to choose when to call them, or subjective in that they can be called based on the discretion of the official, such as if a hit is deemed unnecessary roughness (like roughing the passer or helmet to helmet). These are sometimes called and sometimes not called, but lay completely in the subjective perception of the official.

(Un)subjective Penalties are penalties that are clearly violations, such as Offside, delay of game, false start, and others. These penalties must be called because they are obvious and not at the discretion of the official. Whereas a holding penalty can be called on every play, an offside cannot. There simply has to be a player offside to call an offside, for example.

    Week 1:

Subjective calls against the Patriots- 3

    Defensive Pass Interference

    Unnecessary Roughness

    Offensive Holding (Offsetting)

Subjective Calls Against the Opponent (Chiefs)- 13

    Defensive Pass Interference

    Defensive Holding (Offsetting)

    Defensive Holding

    Offensive Holding

    Offensive Holding

    Offensive Holding

    Unnecessary Roughness

    Defensive Holding

    Defensive Pass Interference

    Taunting

    Offensive Holding

    Defensive Holding

    Illegal Block Above the Waist

This does not include the second "running into the kicker," which might have been called "unnecessary roughness" by many officials

  3. Pats oline has problems. Looks like over coaching. All chop blocks and holds, a ton of penalties if the refs called the game straight.

KC really beat them bad. They had the better plays. A great inside slant game to get them to crowd the box, then went deep with Hill and RBs out the back field to take the top off.

Pats once again tried to game the system. Hitting the punter back to back trying to get a better return was really low brow. Same tea-bagging Kelce, and Hogan running down the field with his arm around the defender trying to call a penalty. They really did ruin the game. All the rating losses are on them.

Brady looks yellow, like his liver is failing.

    You are spot on:

  4.

    What young talent was devastated?

Watkins for Gaines? They are the same age Plus we got a 2nd rounder

Darby for Matthews? Same age Plus we got a 3rd rounder

Seymour for Klay? Same age, Seymour was a JAG and we traded him for another JAG

Jwill?? If you want to call him a talent, fine. But he wasn't considered to be much of a talent from both the Bills perspective and virtually every other team in the NFL.

Ragland for a 4th rounder? Ragland may or may not end up being a good player but he certainly wasn't as good of a fit for 4-3 than a 3-4 and he is coming off of major knee surgery which you would think makes him an even worse fit for a 4-3 LB. He was traded to KC and now been taken off the active roster so clearly he isn't viewed as ready at this point.

So what is this talent that has been "devastated" that you speak of? Because the facts say that the moves that have been made, will bring in more young people than what was already here.

I think they focus more on the talent part, not just the the age. While I think the talent they gave was less than they got, they have draft picks. So, they can potentially get more talent, also young.

  5. Young fans and 20 year old kids need to step off the curb and relax about this team. There is no such thing as instant satisfaction. You grow up over time and when you hit 80 years or so you end up knowing more than kids who want there things now or they get upset. I have seen what it means to work hard and enjoy rewards and thats what our coach and the manager are doing.

There is a webpage i want to link here but it doesnt work and I wanted these younger guys to read it. Basic story is that you need to step off the curb and relax because this team will be fine in three or four years and then we'll have some good fun.

I have to run to walgreens quick for some powder. I will finish my thoughts on this in a few minutes but just remember good things come to people who wait for them.

Satire? Parody? Can't be real. Powder?
