Good question.... I just really like Bell’s ability in the passing game. He can also still run effectively imo But if Miami does a 2 year deal they know cause he’s at or near his tenure in the league. Plus it’s income tax free

Has anyone succeeded under a Gase offense?

Tannehill has always folded under pressure. If you hit him or get in his face his ability goes down. The last 2 years we’ve got after him. Last night not so much. Not at all really.

Every defensive lineman gets held on almost every play. Usually the ones that get called is where speed or quickness beat an OLineman that forces them to reach and hold... those types of holdings are not happening. I like Hughes but he’s not beating anyone. All 4 defensive lineman are struggling against 1 on 1. Nobody is pressuring the QB. They get into the linemen and being grabbed up.... the league isn’t going to call those holds.

This is Hughes last year and there’s a reason for that. Addison is what, 33 and Murphy is doing nothing. AJ has the best play of the night off the edge and he doesn’t get to play because of those 2 guys? If the Bills don’t fix this. There’s no playoffs this year. This schedule is brutal and if New England stays healthy.... we will see. But this defense is a liability.

I’m telling you. Oliver needs to try to be used on the edge. Just get upfield and smash the tackle with a bull rush.... I like Edmunds but his instinct and ability to get small and slip past guys to make plays is starting to show.... put him in the Lorax role. Off the edge, stunting around or inside, dropping into coverage. He definitely has the length the contain.... something the Bills have been terrible at this year. Hughes and Murphy are just liabilities and aren’t doing anything!!!!

Also I want to still see Oliver off the edge. Bull rush and get up field. Hughes kept diving inside when he had contain. What’s it gonna hurt?

The good thing is, the ability to sign Edmunds and Milano shouldn’t be hard. Neither have lit up the stat chart and Milano is great, just needs to stay healthy.

He needs to play the Lorax role. Off the edge, stunting etc... but great ability to drop in coverage.... His instinct and ability to get small and shoot the gap just isn’t part of his game.

Seriously what’s wrong with Tre White and John Brown? Why is Murphy on this team? Murphy and Hughes have been great guys on this team. But this is their last year. DE is #1 priority this off season. Maybe it is time for Edmunds to play Lorax’s role and get a real thumper in the middle that has more instinctive play ability. CB is 1B priority....

How did this defense become suspect on all 3 levels?! This defenses ability to rush the pass is non existent, slow off the edge....

This whole Dline needs to be fixed.

This team will be lucky to make the playoffs. Not kidding, this schedule is brutal. And our defense is suspect against the run

Seriously let Tannehill get outside on the 3rd down. He keeps upfield they get a sack maybe. Then a play or 2 later he dives inside when he had contain
