My point with 13 seconds is with the type of kick that was administered. All though no one has come out publicly in regards to the 13 seconds kick, the decision to kick the ball into the end zone with 13 seconds remaining rather than squib the ball was fatal. The kicker blew it and by all inside accounts, forgot that a squib was asked for. Had there been a squib, then more time would have been run off the clock. As far as the latest loss goes, I'm not blaming Bass for the loss, I am however holding him accountable for the missed field goal that prevented us from going into OT.

I find it rather astounding that four of the most heartbreaking losses, probably the top four over the years for our Buffalo Bills, have centered around kickers and/or kickoffs. Superbowl XXV- Wide Right, Norwood Kick. Miracle City Miracle- Forward lateral on kickoff. 13 Seconds- Bad Kickoff resulting in tying FG taking game to OT with KC winning. Bass missed FG- Bass missed kick that would have put us into OT (most likely) against KC. Are we snakebitten when it comes to kickers? Do we minimize the value of a good kicker?

Amen 😪 I know the feeling. My Mom passed two years ago. She loved across the street from us and she was the biggest Bills fan I have ever known. I miss our conversations about " Her Bills". May your Dad Rest in Peace.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Jon Fadel. We were High School classmates. Jon was a kind and gentle soul and he loved his Buffalo Bills! Jon has been a season ticket holder since the early 80's and was rooting for his team up until his final days. The wall in Highmark stadium won't be the same without you Jon,cheering on your Bills! Rest in Peace Jon Fadel ❤️

Go ahead and criticize Bass. He was 2 for 5 in the playoffs and missed the game tying FG!

Great logic Einstein. Apples and oranges. Bass had two FG attempts in the game and horribly missed on one. He practices daily in the stadium with the conditions present, and in his own words " I Misjudged my kick". He wasn't responsible for the loss, BUT he certainly was responsible for the Bills not making it to overtime!

I was sitting in my man cave with my buddy totally engrossed in the game when we had the weird series of events that started with the FAKE PUNT. When KC stopped us and then drove the ball down for what appeared to be a rushing touchdown, and then upon further review it was fumbled out of the end zone, we looked at each other and both said " The football gods are willing us to victory!". I swear, for the first time in a very long time it seemed the breaks were finally going our way in a game! And then, the missed "wide right #2" field goal......

Screw that. He's paid TO MAKE FIELD GOALS! Cut his weak ass!

I feel your pain and agree. I've been rooting and hoping since 1973. My Mom, May she Rest in Peace, loved HER Bills, but never got her SuperBowl victory. It's simple today really. Play your hardest and WIN!
