  1. That's why I included Milano lol. But still, we're all wildly different people and we all would value ourselves and co tracts differently. That said, what we have is a player in Tee Higgins who does indeed want his big bag, and the Bengals are not a big bag kind of team. So yeah, I could see the Bengals using Tee as a bargaining chip to move up and get a new WR on a rookie deal, depending on how the dead cap looks (I'm assuming they'd be on the hook for the 20 since it's guaranteed, idk how it would or could look on the books). But the Bengals are notoriously cheap (worse than Ralph was) so all we can do is watch it play out.
  2. I would be to an extent; get mine but give a discount a la Milano or Brady. Everybody's different tho. However, Tee and Chase have both said they want Justin Jefferson to get paid first and reset the market. Realistically they're only keeping Chase after next year. Boyd is a FA and the Bengals just committed 20mil guaranteed to Higgins. The Bengals also don't like guaranteed monies after year one of the contract, so that might cost them Chase as well. Lucky for them this year is like a double dose of the 96 draft lol (it even comes with a rookie Marvin Harrison!) But they better get it right and hope Mr Glass doesn't have one of his kidneys fail, or suffer some sort of anal prolapse or something out of left field lol. That dude is one injury away from being Bad Luck Burrow.
  3. Chiefs got the best thrower since Brady. Multiple SBs Bills got the best Athlete since Jim Thorpe. Will win at least 1 SB, worst case scenario. He's way too good in the playoffs to not finally get one, let's be real. I've seen so many QBs who "coulda/shoulda" but they couldn't hold Allen's jock. Win-Win. They get Jimmy Page, we got Eddie Van Halen. Mahomes will be remembered, but Allen will be revered.
  4. Glass Burrow better stay mostly healthy, because Tee is going to be a #1 somewhere else after the upcoming season. This dude is all about the bag and I'd be shocked but not entirely surprised if he doesn't get snippy over getting tagged and not super extended.
  5. Allen is quite the opposite, which is why I expect at least 1 SB victory with JA. Dude is too good in the playoffs to never get one.
  6. Josh should marry Fran Drescher, then.
  7. Back in the early 2000s it was still normal to see a QB after just 30 as still good but past their prime. When we traded for a 30/31 year old Drew Bledsoe for a 1st it was said we overpaid for an ooooold QB past his best games. Then the game changed and now you can't really destroy a QB. If it was the old way, Brady would've made it to maybe 39/40 and would've been a shell of himself and especially the 44 year old TB we all saw. That's what you're seeing. Human physiology didn't change in 20 years, but the QBs got super protected in that time frame. Allen and Mahomes will most likely make it to 38-40 and be done. I don't really see Rodgers playing beyond this season outside of trying to earn another bag. Now if they make QBs 2 hand touch tackle you could see guys in their 50s playing, because at that point old timers like Hogan and Flair are still taking WWE bumps, why not 50+ year old Brady?
  8. If they go that route I think it's going to incorporate traditional pilings and colors. I don't think they'll stray much from the formula. Ralph bit on the wave of the late 90s early 2000s of modernizing because of the Titans. I don't see Pegs doing that. I could see us moving closer to the 90s mix with the 60s pipings and possibly red helmets. They've been quiet about jerseys and helmet lately...
  9. Yes this needs to change, but not spending any 1-3s on WR and still having a top offense should be a good indicator of where we can go when we do draft WRs early
  10. All we have is Diggs, and hes not on the level of JA where you can lean on him and he carries weight. Diggs is a piece, not a machine. We need more parts. I say draft 2 or 3 WRs this year and bring in a ton of undrafteds. The only other acceptable option is throwing a package together to get MHJr. And bring in Ricky Pearsall
  11. America doesn't want oiled up guys grappling eachother, and prefer the type that plays like a soap opera with comic book characters. Not enough entertainment factor like WWE; more like golf or paint drying lol. Not to knock the sport, but it seems like it would do better in Europe. Now if you throw in characters and kayfabe, I think that would make it more digestible, but I feel that would teeter more towards what the XFL originally was rather than what pro wrestling became.
  12. Couldn't imagine in a million years TPegs or Beane coming out like this. This why we own the division.
  13. Here's the thing: JP didnt want to be a starter. He could've been a winner here with that staff if he wanted to be the guy, but he didn't. He wanted to ride the pine and play drums. Maybe he matured now, but at the time he had no interest in being the guy.
  14. No accountability. I encourage everybody to steal, embezzle and skim from every mega-corp and the gov. It's our money anyway, ***** em
  15. I'm a Gators fan: DO NOT SLEEP ON RICKY PEARSALL! Dude made arguably the greatest catch of all time. Hands? Dude has them..2, in fact. The Gators just haven't been very good since The Shoe at LSU. He's 7-11 incarnate. We already have Elam, Torrence and Shorter, so let's bring in another Gator! If he were there with Trask he would've shown a lot more and he'd be a late 1st rounder. He's a steal
  16. The only trade I'd accept is to get Harrison lol. That would be a wild trade
  17. Hey bud, I honestly wish your wife well, and I hope you all have a swift and full recovery in time for the Lombardi hoisting next year. Go Bills!
  18. I get how people feel about Hamlin over someone like Lamar or Baker..I get it..but has anyone else died during a game and played snaps the next season? He literally came back from the dead and resumed his career.
  19. They probably thought he was a Gen z'er when he showed up to the interview in a hoodie and spoke monotone lol. Washington won't hire him maybe he'll come here and run the D? I'd be on board bringing him in just to infuse the cold situational awareness and work attitude that wins SBs. The man is a film genius, and could gameplan a defense like no other.
  20. Our opinions don't matter in these, but here's mine: Josh is the only true MVP on the list. Jackson is a product of a new offensive scheme, better weapons, a great defense...and Josh had it way worse than Lamar did and he took what he had and willed us from 5-5 to 11-6, #2 seed, 4th straight division when our playoff odds were...12%? Nobody else on that list, even on the same team, could take a 5-5 team, 3 games behind Miami, almost no weapons, a half strength defense missing its 2 younger All Pros, while the other 2 are pretty close to retirement and make the playoffs while winning the division and earning the #2 seed. He deserves the MVP purely based on what it means to be Most Valuable to your team. And Peter King said he's voting for Josh (when we were 5-5) if we make the playoffs. I guarantee he's not the only one.
  21. Here's how I see it: The Bills success at receiver has been Diggs/burner WR/safety valve a la Beasley-type/Knox. Honestly, we could just draft/sign a decent #2 and I feel we are set, and the draft has a ton of options. We can have Diggs/[insert WR]/Shakir/Kincaid&Knox. You can draft someone like Ricky Pearsall in the 2nd or 3rd, and that dude has hands. I feel that could be the best WR corps we'd have since the 2000s or even the 90s (if we sign another HoFer-level WR opposite Diggs)
  22. I think Brady gets an interview, and/or the job, if nobody else pans out. We should promote Babich to DC so McD can pass down the defense and plant a seed in the coaching tree
  23. No way he brings back Frazier. He needs to plant seeds for a better coaching tree. He needs to pass on his defensive philosophy which was passed to him by Johnson in Philly. He will most likely promote him and give him the playbook and make him a disciple. All he really has is Daboll, and that's somewhat iffy
