  1. McDermott is probably helping him out more than a warning. Looks more like McD was told to stay away from defense and focus on the whole of the team.
  2. He's ruining the league. The Patriots stuff was ridiculous, but accepted unfortunately. Now it's way worse. He wants to protect the shield by watering down the product and who-re-ing the best team for ratings and money because of a pop singer's fanbase. Just like boxing, just like baseball, so will go football. Completely avoidable, however always inevitable. Greed will ruin the league, just as it will run this country.
  3. Defenses got faster and more athletic in the pass era, now you run it at them because they're smaller. That's why we get 5 yard runs regularly. Then the league will become a running league again and the defenses will bring in thumpers and Ted Washington types and the offenses will evolve back to passing it over the future bigger slower defenses. Its all cyclical. Everything is cyclical like this; everything.
  4. This is a distraction from the 4th down. This was known for years. The league is pushing this as a narrative disruptor, just like how Swift is a distraction from Kapernick's knee and the covid losses.
  5. Not a chance. He's a first year coordinator and play caller, who wasn't a good play caller (anyone who paid attention during the preseason and off-season should've expected this tbh) yet he's preaching something that led to the massive amount of turnovers; including Bernard embodying Pat Tillman himself a few times lol. He needs to cook as a playcaller, and McDermott knows it which is why he took the training wheels off. Babich is only going to get better, he just needs time. If you really want to improve the defense, trade for Myles Garrett. On this defense he would fix a lot of problems and we have ammo to get him. Epenesa is our best pass rusher..
  6. Going to the AFC Championship is worse than the drought? Lmfao dude, get over it. This is not worse than the drought. I guess losing 4 straight Superbowls was just as bad as having 20 different starting QBs and people still thinking Trent Edward's would've been worth something sans concussion. What a worthless take
  7. This ain't those Chiefs anymore. If we win, I think that's it for this iteration of the Chiefs as far as complete dominance of the league
  8. Which is why I reference the 4th and 2 decision to put the ball in Josh's hands to put the game away, as McD finally understanding what it takes to win. Until that game, we've always relied on just getting and maintaining even a slight lead and hoping we outsmart their offense with smart defensive play calling. You have to go for the kill, and he finally gets it..or Brady at least gets it. Either way it's what we need.
  9. I'd rather ask for the asst HC title and stay if my choice was the Aints. Right now, taking fandom out of the equation, I'd probably want the Pats job, if we're all being honest. Maybe Vegas 2nd, mostly because it's the Raiders and it's in Vegas with desperate ownership looking to spare no expense.
  10. Or the Jets. They're stinky
  11. OJ would kill you if he wasn't already dead. He was King Henry when Henry's dad watched him play.
  12. Elam is the plan at corner after this year, he isn't getting traded. Takes time to learn zone coverage when you've only ever done man. He'll be fine, and if not they'll move on...after he starts next year.
  13. Brady loves Allen, not us lol. It was pretty evident at the roast that this fanbase lives rent free in his head...prob from all the billdos thrown at him.
  14. I think the flaws finally catch up with them this year
  15. QB coach or passing game coordinator
  16. Yeah dude, the off-season after Josh finally wins one will be discussing how he's one of the greatest to ever play the position. He needs that ring first
  17. His contract stipulates he's not allowed in any locker room. It's going to be like WRUB calling the Bulls' games. He's gonna show up with notes and he can't leave the media area. Fox ain't stupid
  18. Probably not. They're a more ruderless ship and most likely to be led by Hackett. They are what, 1.5 games behind us and if they beat us that's a swing in their favor. This is a premature ***** on their part, it's not like they're the Pats. However, lmao at everyone picking the Jets or Dolphins over the Bills for the division 😂😂😂😂😂😂
  19. They had no wind in the sails, like a switch was flipped
  20. Come on dude, it's not even halftime, that's weak.
  21. Or they don't want to expose what he can do until we need to do it. Cards to the chest and all that jazz
  22. Which is funny because the Chiefs opponents are 2-7 whom they beat by a toe and a random fumble by Burrow..and the Raiders. We are burying the inferior opponents, the Chiefs are being gifted wins by lesser opponents. However, you're absolutely right. The Bills could go undefeated, finish as one of the highest scoring teams of all time and be told "Yeah, but who have they faced?"
  23. 38-13. The first couple drives will dictate this game. If our offense can move at will like they have so far, we will score a ton as this Ravens D is not a traditionally great Ravens D. Our DLine should handle well and if the linebackers maintain their assignments and play disciplined against the most electrifying runner at QB they should be able to contain them. Oliver needs to be stout as usual, DBacks I'm not super concerned about because they've looked All-Pro throughout, but Rooooo and Ambassador Von Miller, Toohill, Solomon and Eps need to be hungry that night because they can feast if hungry enough. Btw, what a motor all of those dudes have. This is the most energized defense I've seen since 99. Hell, the offense plays with such urgency. That Thursday night game looked like they had a bye before they played; no energy lost. Whatever McD, Babich and Brady are doing, if they keep the peddle down this can be a historic year. The D is making splash plays every week so far and the offense is currently 3rd all time in scoring. 3 games sure, but I don't see them letting up, even late in games. Go Bills!
  24. I watched Dolac throw a blocker to his ass with one hand and make a TFL. I hope he stays under the radar and we bring him in. I watched him and he really is good. Diagnoses the play as fast as a QB can. He is the type that can fit in this defense: great tackler, great instincts, plays good in coverage, a real McDermott guy.
