He is up there
Come on people, who was more dominant for a longer period? He holds virtually every record. Only Gretzky would compare.

I’ve said it before...Tom Brady is the best all time player in any sport.

If you do not like living in a city that people make fun of I suggest you move. If you like it there stay.

Or you could just move the game to Saturday and fix the ‘problem’ at no cost to anyone.

I honestly thought this thread title was a joke. They used to say Don Shula could switch locker rooms and beat you with your roster and then switch back and beat you with his. That same thing is often suggested of Belichick. I don’t think ANYONE has ever thought about it with Adam Gase. Sheeesh!

It will come down to budget. A new stadium will be more expensive than a renovated one. And a new stadium on a new downtown site will be more expensive than a new stadium built in the parking lot at Orchard Park. And a dome downtown stadium will be the most expensive of all options. Each option will be close to $200 million above the one just below it, so it’s all going to rest on the available sources of funds. Public money, Pegula (Bills) money, Fan money.

Different subject here, why are so many people in this thread referring to New Era as "Rich"?
The serious answer is because that’s what the stadium was originally called when it first opened in 1973...and for all of us old timers it will always be Rich Stadium to us. The sarcastic answer is...really?

This country is screwed up. We have one of the lowest rates of vacation time in the world. Employers are greedy and workers are not valued.
Feel free to leave anytime you’d like. That’s not a threat....I’m just saying.

The Packers? Never give them much of a thought one way or the other.

If it needs to be explained to you, you are probably very entitled, or sheltered. It’s a big country and when “people” get federal holidays off you still get that a lot of people still go to work and I bet most could care less about a football game that happened the day before. Maybe it’s time to grow up.
Thank you. Well said.

It seems like penalties are way down in the playoffs. Is that because the teams are committing them? Or is it because the refs aren’t calling them? The NFL has become way too impacted by ‘judgement’ calls.

I’ve never understood this obsession with speed. All of these can run. The difference between them is minimal at best. On the contrary, all of them cannot run a precise route, fight for, and catch the ball with a defender on them...which happens on every play in the NFL.

Didn't realize there were so many QBs likely to be on the move. Just like last season.
It's nice for once not to be shopping for a QB.
Very well said. After the turmoil of the last few years, it's nice that the Bills now have three QBs under contract. I have to wonder when was the last time we could say that in January.
-
I'm a firm believer in shoring the middle of the Offensive Line. I'd like to see the Bills get a Center and a Guard to go along with Teller. If that means moving down...so be it. Use the acquired picks to get a 'high-ish' round WR and RB.

Having games on Monday and Thursday added to their schedule and increased TV money by adding more games to a nationally televised schedule.
For the NFL it could cost them broadcasting money from advertisers cause a typical Saturday gives the non football fans plenty of other options of things to do.
The biggest hit would come from Bars and restaurants who now will have an already busy day become a bit busier and lose the extra days revenue as they go back to having a dead Sunday night. If your a bar or Restaurant Owner, you probably want one of your busiest and profitable days (Saturday) to stay as is and get an extra busy day on Sunday to increase revenue for that time.
As for productivity, is it any worse then say 'Cyber monday' for lost productivity? I thought that was determined to be one of the least productive days of the year. Should it become a National Holiday too?
All good points, but I'm guessing that the vast majority of people do not watch the Super Bowl in a restaurant or bar. In fact, I don't know anyone that does. Most people watch at someone's house and have turned the game into a huge pot-luck binge eating fest.

I've read a ton of comments on here over the years and I have to say that Super Bowl Saturday actually makes a ton of sense. It costs nothing but solves a rather large loss of productivity challenge for millions of employees, employers and schools. Think about it, it wasn't that long ago when there was no Thursday night football, and or even Monday night for that matter.
Get it done Mr. Commissioner!

All the guy did was some evaluations of the top WR's, there are plenty of other threads discussing O-line, and who should be taken where.
Why not just let this discussion develop without shouting in about the O-line?
Or we could have a thread about middle round receivers and focus on the O Line in round one and two.

Kid reminds me of Spicolli on FastTimes at Ridgemont High. “Who ordered a pizza?...Right here dude!”

I wonder why the broadcast team didn’t make any snide comments about the frigid weather in New England yesterday. You know would have had it been in Buffalo.
