"as most attest"?
Jeez, I should be in bed. What is wrong with me.
Josh has been the leader from about halfway through his first season. He's been one of the five or six best players in the league for three or four years. There has always been plenty of oxygen for him. Beane has made it very clear for years now that he asks Josh's opinions on major moves.
Might he have had to walk on eggshells - as I saw someone else say above - a bit around Diggs? Yeah, maybe. But this has been Josh's team - he's been the unquestioned leader - for a very long time.
Because YOU say so? Having been in his exact same position at one time in my career I can tell you that’s it’s really hard to assume that role if many of your teammates keep looking over to the other guy for even subtle signs of agreement. But…I think we both can agree that there’s no doubt left now.

I think that message was out there about three years ago.
You might think so but as most attest it’s very hard for the new leader to truly take charge when the old leader (or co-leader) keeps hanging around stealing the oxygen from the building. That is now officially over.

What’s missing in so many of these posts is the REAL message this is sending to the locker room and front office is that is that this is now Josh Allen’s team to win or lose. No more second fiddle or even Batman and Robin thing. It’s time for Josh to assume the full leadership role. (It happens in all organizations at some time.)

All kidding aside, once a team has their franchise QB, they need to spend money on an offensive line to protect him, and let everyone else be younger and cheaper. The mistake the Bills made was going ‘all in’ after 13 seconds thinking they were right there, and maybe they were, but it didn’t work out. So guys like Von, Diggs and Knox have to go, and probably should never been signed or extended in the first place. Starting today, this is NOW Josh Allen’s team. Period!

I’m guessing this means PSL sales aren’t going as planned.

None of this would be happening if that new stadium had a roof! 😳

Thanks for sharing. As they always say: “Planes don’t make money sitting on the ground”. And likewise: “Cranes don’t make money standing in one place.”
Come on boys, put your backs into it! 😂

It’s even wilder than that. They drafted Archie Manning second overall in 1971. He’s the only QB they’ve ever drafted in the first three rounds to ever make an NFL roster. They drafted Garrett Grayson with the 75th pick in 2015 but he never made the team.
I honestly thought the Saints was a type-o so I ignored it. 😂
-
The one I find fascinating is the Seahawks haven’t drafted a QB in the first two rounds in over 30 years. Really?

This has to be because that stupid webcam now proves that the new stadium is NOT in downtown Buffalo. 😉

I still say that Knox is a luxury we can’t afford. And I still can’t believe the Bills couldn’t find a suitor for his services.

I know some incredibly wealthy people personally and I can vouch for their spending habits. They didn’t get wealthy by spending money. At least not on things like Bills tickets.
Actually, you get wealthy by spending way less money than you take in. This is true no matter how much you make, and the earlier in life you learn that lesson the wealthier you will end up. If buying Bills tickets doesn’t impact that most basic of equations, you’ll be just fine.

I am not as high on Thomas as some. If he got to within the kinda "4th round pick" trade up territory where Elam and Kincaid were taken then I'd be okay. But I wouldn't be giving up next years 2nd.
Gunner
I asked earlier, which former Bills WR would you compare Mitchell to? And if nobody, what current NFL WR on some other team would you equate to him?

Wait! What? We lost? I turned it off when we scored. Dammmmit!

Very well done Gunner and much better descriptions than you get from most ‘professional’ pundits.
Question: Which present or former Bills WR would you most closely compare Mitchell to?

My brother works for a builder, they set up cameras on their sites, but for after-hours security than letting the public view it.
That’s also common but a different type of camera. The challenge with a project progress camera on a project as large as an NFL stadium is choosing an angle and a height that will consistently show something of value. We often have to move the camera location at least once or twice duration the construction schedule so you’re not staring at a never changing blank wall after a few months.

The team could do it too. It's even more chump change to them.
It’s typically provided by the Builder because of liability etc.

Come on people. You’re not going to find an All-Pro free agent that signs a league minimum contract. They need camp bodies and depth at all positions.
As I said earlier, the key variable right now is that the free agent has to be CHEAP. So the universe of potential signings is down to players who’re 25-29 and have probably been close to a bust off of their rookie contract, and players who’re 29 and over who at least some point were considered good to decent. Without any money to spend, those are your choices.

Thanks!
But to my point still, what would it cost for the team to put a can up over OBD with a regular feed.
It's not as if it's a top-secret project, it's right out in public.
In most cases it’s actually the Construction Company that installs the camera. It’s considered to be good P.R. for the company. No idea why that isn’t being done here. It’s literally chump change to the Builder.

We don't know the answer.
But I'd argue that experimentation isn't really an option for a team that is not in "rebuild mode", but rather "championship push" mode.
McGovern really surprised me at OG (I was a naysayer....when we brought him in...), and maybe he'd be a good center.
You’re right…we, the fans, don’t know but I’m betting that the Bills staff does. They see these guys every day in practice. I’m betting that they’ve had plenty of discussions with McGovern about the move.
