  1. My sister posted yesterday. Might talk to my sister later today. Haven't heard anything much. Trying to give space. Yesterday she took a second covid-19 test. Not sure much else going on. Update on Cassandra! and I got to see her today at Buffalo Children's. She is looking better. She is at 50-60% working on her own and the rest is the ECMO machine. Doctors are deciding to slowly dial down the machine so we can make sure she is able to function on her own. Everything is healing like it should and brain activity looks good. Hopefully by next week we will be able to interact with her. We don't know yet what type of virus did this and perhaps we might not never know. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers so she heals. Thank you for all the outreach, we really appreciate it.
  2. The tricky part is. The heart has ace 2 reacpter like lung and intestines. Hapless posted in a different post here but for lungs and intestines mainly.. Some people died mycardio. Highly not a great chance but there has been lots. Maybe 5 percent guessing.Just wondering my niece as well. Still a mystery in a way. SARS and MERS had lots of mycardio deaths.
  3. Really think this can be tricky here. Let's someone has a year left to live. But covid-19 got to them first. Understand why but soo many complex are too sure. Just looking from all sides.
  4. Ya that's amazing. I wouldn't remember all of that. Poor memory for me. That's pretty cool. Kind of like being here. Like seeing everyone. Plus support President Trump lots more. Can learn all the info people say (and truth) but poorly telling others. Even more so in person.Learned lots from people in PPP. Plus a good time here with everyone lol.
  5. https://wgr550.radio.com/articles/news/campbell-fighting-covid-19-is-a-surreal-lonely-experience Campbell: Fighting COVID-19 is a surreal, lonely experience Former Bills tight end Mark Campbell joined Howard and Jeremy on Thursday to talk about his experience fighting the coronavirus The coronavirus has already affected millions of people around the world, and the number of cases in the United States continues to rise by the day. Here locally in Erie County, the coronavirus has already affected thousands of people with more than 1,400 active cases across the region. The positive news is that 360 people have already recovered from COVID-19, but 51 people have unfortunately died as a result of the virus. Throughout the sports world, a number of leagues have already suspended or canceled their seasons, while many major sporting events have been postponed to a later date or already been canceled. The National Hockey League and the Buffalo Sabres continues to wait out the situation and evaluate if a return to action for the 2019-20 season is even possible. Meanwhile, the National Football League and the Buffalo Bills are proceeding with the upcoming NFL Draft, which is set to take place virtually from Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 26. More and more every day, people around the community being affected by COVID-19, whether it be directly or indirectly with family members or other friends or acquaintances dealing with the virus. Former NFL tight end Mark Campbell played 10 seasons in the NFL, spending three of those years with the Bills from 2003 to 2005. The 44-year-old is currently living in Michigan, but is also dealing with a personal battle against the coronavirus. Campbell was hospitalized for a total of five days, but he is back home and under self-quarantine for another week. Campbell took some time on Thursday to join Howard Simon and Jeremy White to share his experience with fighting the coronavirus, and what his ordeal has been like throughout the process. Here is some of what he had to say: Campbell on his days leading up to hospitalization for the coronavirus: "I basically was going through, what I thought to be, the flu process. I did go to the hospital when this whole thing began, I took my temperature and it was 102.6. So I went to the hospital, and here in Michigan, they're doing these drive-thrus where they kind of screen you. They basically said that you probably have it, we're not going to test you, but go home and quarantine. I did that, went through all those typical flu symptoms. "Day 5 was when I started to get, what people are referring to as that dry cough. It's really just kind of this nuisance cough. It's not like I'm coughing up or anything like that, it's like an unproductive cough. Truthfully, right around Day 7 or 8 I should have gone back to the hospital, but I kept thinking that I'll turn the corner and I didn't. By Day 12, I was really laboring to breathe. I could breathe in and out, my lungs were still working, but the difference was that I felt like I couldn't get relief, I couldn't get oxygen. That was at the point where I [realized] I couldn't play with this, you can't tough this thing out."
  6. Gotta feel for as well people lost there jobs cause of covid-19
  7. America has the most test done. While noone else close to them. 2,226,116 USA (highest) to Germany 1,317,887. As of right now.
  8. Good post but disagree part on WHO. There suckered up kissing China (ccp) butt while rest of the world suffered. Like President Trump said. Time to investigate and possibly stop paying them.
  9. People should be uniting coming together and helping people fight this Chinese virus. Not be cheerleader for death and doom. Agree man.
  10. One thing for sure. CCP and WHO like President Trump said need to be investigation. WHO is like mouth piece for China. Pretty sad by them.
  11. Agree with you man. I'm going to bed drunk, worried. Hate how world nowdays. Going to sleep before saying something stupid. You're really intelligent around here man. Many others as well. Before myself saying anything stupid. Night just a pissed off guy lots of things..........
  12. Great post. Same thing trying to do as well.
  13. U.K might be first European country going after China. After the Conservative MPs in UK directed their ire towards China for downplaying the threat of coronavirus, a London-based Conservative think tank has explored possibilities of legally suing China on 10 possible grounds. The Henry Jackson Society has compiled in its 'Coronavirus Compensation?' report that "China should be sued under international law for trillions of dollars for its initial cover-up of the coronavirus pandemic which has caused more than 60,000 deaths and trillions of dollars in economic damage," London bureau of The Sunday Morning Herald reported. The report by the think-tank said that damages caused by China amount to at least the £3.2 ($6.5 trillion), which is being spent by G7 nations. It should prop up their domestic economies because the governments forced their citizens to stay at home in order to contain the virus’ spread. The report emphasised that China owes it to the Australians too, the amount of the compensation that came from Prime Minister Scott Morrison's unprecedented $130 billion in government support for workers and businesses. UK's observations and reports are in contrast to what China thinks. Senior Chinese figures, including China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian, have "endorsed speculative and groundless claims that the virus was imported to Wuhan by the United States military, instead of emerging at the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market, where wild, live animals were traded", said the Sunday Morning Herald report. The report says that China could be sued under 10 possible legal avenues, including the International Health Regulations. These regulations became more stringent after the SARS outbreak. China also tried to cover up that outbreak. https://www.news18.com/news/world/uk-think-tank-seeks-global-solidarity-to-sue-china-for-6-5-trillion-for-covering-up-coronavirus-2565637.html
  14. Not sure agree on that part. I think the vaccine possibly might make things worse. . I mean agreeing with a different thing you said. Lockdown helping some countries a bit. But I understand why other countries not locking down. I understand and I'm concerned as well. It's a complex virus. But looking at results and prepared like Trump fighting this andhelping people. What trying to see from president trump and other places.
  15. Right anytime man. Agree with you. Sars, Mers, covid-19 similar but do way different things can be complex. For detail to detail.
  16. I think President Trump doing a good job. But the covid-19 comes from a family of coronavirus. Like sars before, mers, and all type of different family's to it. Different family's affects animals and to only animals. Coronaviruses are a group of related viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, coronaviruses cause respiratory tract infections that can range from mild to lethal. Mild illnesses include some cases of the common cold (which has other possible causes, predominantly rhinoviruses), while more lethal varieties can cause SARS, MERS, and COVID-19. Symptoms in other species vary: in chickens, they cause an upper respiratory tract disease, while in cows and pigs they cause diarrhea. There are yet to be vaccines or antiviral drugs to prevent or treat human coronavirus infections. Coronaviruses constitute the subfamily Orthocoronavirinae, in the family Coronaviridae, order Nidovirales, and realm Riboviria.[5][6] They are enveloped viruses with a positive-sense single-stranded RNA genome and a nucleocapsid of helical symmetry. The genome size of coronaviruses ranges from approximately 27 to 34 kilobases, the largest among known RNA viruses.[7] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coronavirus https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coronaviridae Taxonomy[edit] The family Coronaviridae is organized in 2 sub-families, 5 genera, 23 sub-genera and about 40 species:[2] Coronaviridae Orthocoronavirinae[3] Letovirinae Alphaletovirus Milecovirus Microhyla letovirus 1 illustration of coronavirus virion Coronavirus[edit] Main article: Coronavirus Illustration of a coronavirus Coronavirus is the common name for Coronaviridae and Orthocoronavirinae, also called Coronavirinae.[4][5] Coronaviruses cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, the viruses cause respiratory infections, including the common cold, which are typically mild, though rarer forms such as SARS (including the one causing COVID-19) and MERS can be lethal. Symptoms vary in other species: in chickens, they cause an upper respiratory disease, while in cows and pigs coronaviruses cause diarrhea. There are no vaccines or antiviral drugs to prevent or treat human coronavirus infections. They are enveloped viruses with a positive-sense single-stranded RNA genome and a nucleocapsid of helical symmetry. The genome size of coronaviruses ranges from approximately 26 to 32 kilobases, among the largest for an RNA virus (only second to a 41-kb nidovirus recently discovered in planaria).[6][7] The name "coronavirus" is derived from the Ancient Greek 'κορώνη' (korone), meaning crown or halo, which refers to the characteristic appearance of the virus particles (virions): they have a fringe reminiscent of a crown or of a solar corona. 17. Thanks man. Hoping soon off from ventilator. Next step in recovery for her. Hoping everything goes good. Ya keep reading ECMO helping lots people covid19 people out. Heard pretty expensive tho. 5,000 to 10,000 a day. Or more some places higher. Reading online. Helped lots of people in USA as well as Japan looks like has lots of them ECMO. Helping lots of people out.
  18. Right on man thanks. Was worried about the ECMO. 60 to 70 perfect survive without like 20-25 percent. Thank goodness for that. Didn't like the numbers for chance. But she's tough going thru at 5. Can not imagine to go thru that. Really enjoying Donald Trump press conference.
  19. Me too DR. On all 3. Like the picture on all together. That's great man! Some good news on my niece. On my sister facebook. Posted. Today was a good visit, got to talk to and hold her hand. Her heart is now syncing between the atria and ventricular parts of the heart. She was also moved to a regular ventilator as her body is slowly starting to take back control.
  20. Ya my sister updated on facebook. A heart condition called myocarditis. We don;t know how she got this or why might not ever find out. Everyone tested negative for covid-19. Could be a bad test. In a coma but getting better each day. On a Ecmo machine. Really don't understand this. Reseached lyme, swine flu everything. See mers as well has myocarditis. Heard covid can get to heart. But not sure. Her symptoms started friday and got way worse Saturday. Don't understand how short of time young and healthy for her and this one. Might not ever know. If not covid-19 just worried doctors might have covid on them. For a weak person doesn't take much. I would think they are well cleaned. As well as asymptomatic if she heals cannot be around anyone. (hopefully goes away by then) Viruses causing myocarditis Coxsackie (A, B) Adenovirus Influenza (A, B) Herpes simplex Cytomegalovirus Varicella-zoster virus Epstein-Barr virus Mumps Rubella Rubeola Vaccinia Rabies Coronavirus Hepatitis B HIV
