Lol he got held still got 3 yards of separation. Not even regular season yet and Davis has already taken Edmunds crown as the scapegoat for people without eyes.

He didn’t sell his route. The guy knew exactly where the ball was joking  I played WR, did you? If you think he had 3 yards of separation against some nobody then I think you have beer goggles already.

You can’t honestly compare it to soccer stadiums. Yes the same firm is doing it but soccer stadiums are traditionally built in a different way with more coverage. It’s expected over there, not over here.

stay disappointed and don’t go then. It’s a “cheap looking” billion dollar piece of architecture by a world-renowned firm. Sure. Seriously some of you act like going to every Bills game is like fighting and enduring a hurricane force blizzard. Most games, it ain’t that bad. Some games are positively lovely. And if it is that bad, a roof doesn’t mean s**t because the game would be moved/postponed anyways because no one can get there. Seriously grow one or just don’t go, trust we don’t need you. Christ.

Way off base with what you thought I meant. I don’t dislike the coverage aspect. I don’t care about being outdoors or under cover. Look at how nice the roofing is at Tottenham (braces and outcropping) and then look at the drawing for Buffalo. Don’t build a spectacular outside facade only to have the roof look like an afterthought.

We'll get a third comp pick for Edmunds. Case closed.

I think that next year’s 3rd could be used on Hopkins after the 2nd round completes this year. The Cards want a 2nd rounder but I don’t think anyone will give it to them. Bills jump in with next year’s 3rd and still get Cards to eat some of his contract. If we don’t get our top WR pick in round 1, this is a big possibility IMO.

  4. Jack Campbell. Just what we need is another 5 years of not being able to cover tight ends and crossers by putting a non cover guy in space. It’s Poz part II, a tackler who will get eaten alive by the athletes in this division.

  5. There will be no WR trades. We have a cap issue and we have a major personnel issue at DT next year that needs fixing. They will draft one and hope Shakir or one of the newbees pan out.  I truly think they will be fine and they will run more and also use Knox more. Our offensive skill positions are not worse than what KC had last year, but our line was that is what they care about. Best case is somehow the 2 new guys plus draft guy X look good at guard and you can move Bates to C so Morse can get moved with his cap hit. Then next year we can invest in DT.

  6. Just like every other business, they are evolving. So many people turn to podcasts or YouTube to see/hear topics they care about every day, listen to the team or headline they want to know about, and then turn it off! Few  get good ratings for sports talk anymore. I am not sitting through a 3 hour show of crap about the same media favs Rodgers and Lamar and Jerry Jones  and OBJ so I can hear 5 minutes about the Bills or something I really care about. I will go to a podcast or YouTube, search for the Bills, Sabres, etc. and even by topic within that Podcast and be done 15 minutes later. Sorry but if you have time to have a job, watch 4 hours of sports TV every night and watch a game(s) and still have any form of life you must not sleep. All these sports networks are super bloated and their staffs should be sliced.  Even McAfee doesn’t need 3 random guys in his room. It’s dumb. Jimmy Johnson is an example of a guy who hasn’t said a meaningful thing on a Fox broadcast in years but there he sits forever. Slice away networks!!!!

Nobody sets lines based on MLB.

We’ve been bizarrely trained to feel like any hole on the Defense is some gigantic issue.

The only pieces on a defense that, maybe, move the needle the slightest bit are a lockdown corner and elite pass rusher.  That’s it.

But the combo on no Von and 50% of our LBs being an unknown is a big deal. I didn’t call it gigantic, but it’s worth a game off the line. We could easily go 11-6 next year. We went 4-2 in the division last year and our division is better and we may be worse. If we go 3-3 in our division, which is possible, that’s still 8-3 against everyone else.

  8. Don’t draft a WR this year in the first 3 rounds unless an awesome prospect falls in your lap and trade back from round 1. They are a dime a dozen every year and we need LB, DL, OL, and safety depth much more. Especially since our interior DL will be thin next year with 3 contracts expiring. Draft WRs (multiple) next year.

Denver doesn't really want to move Jeudy. Hopkins is getting up there, although would love to add him.

But what if Campbell and Sanders are gone by 27? Could we flip Ed for a 3rd rounder then trade to Balt. for Patrick Queen who looks to be a pro bowler for years to come? They signed R. Smith to 100 mil. and tagged the dummy. They have until May 1st to decide to pick up his 5th yr. They can't afford all that and Queen ain't happy.

They can pay Ford and give Queen a new contract that could keep the hit down and have the money left over for Ford. That would allow them to go all in on offense although an Edge like Isaiah Foskey at 59 would be cool.

Patrick Queen avoids contact more than any MLB I have seen. He makes our departed MLB look like  Dick Butkus. He plays like a free Safety. No thanks!

I think RT should be considered our 3rd biggest need behind Mike and WR2.

Beane may not think so….but I think he has too much false hope in Brown.   RT was Allens biggest enemy last year

Right now we better address DT. We have our 3 main interior guys on expiring contracts and one wants to be highly paid and is undersized and yet has underperformed his high draft status.

  11. 1 Brady

2 play rookies at corner, which we seem terrified to do

3 something this fan base is often unwilling to do, which is sell off favorite players before they go downhill or become wildly overpriced. The winning Pats would have also let Tremaine go. They would have never brought back Cole. They would have already cut Mitch coming into this year and replaced him with Bates.

Bates’s future is at center with this team. If all goes as planned, he may be the surprise starter at the end of camp with a salary cap dump of Morse. $6mil dead cap and over $5mil savings. Will this definitely happen? No. But it surely could if folks step up. Take their financial lumps this year and help next year’s cap.

I like that plan very much, but my gut says they are convinced to keep Morse at center this year, so it’s possible they may be drafting that new center this year. If so, they don’t need Bates. They will draft a kid, use him at guard and trade Bates to Chicago and then move the kid to Center next year. There are a few 2nd/3rd rounders who could fit this.
