We might not be....but only one way to find out.   Adding a player who draws the attention of a DC and multiple defenders is always a good thing for your offense

Can really be a big difference

$55 million over 2 years for a guy who is 32 and may be our next Von albatross….No thanks. Especially when Amari Cooper would basically be a vet minimum and has a bunch of recent 1,000 yard seasons.

I've grown up here since the 80's, and Central Florida never got hit between 1980-2016 except for 2004 when we had 3 in a month, but since 2016 I can count at least 10 that have affected the Central Florida area.

There was a legend around here that Walt Disney chose Orlando because it was the least likely area of Florida to get hit with Hurricanes......that theory held up for a long time, but I think we can put that legend to rest at this point.

I know some don't believe in it, but I can assure you that Climate Change is a key driver of the uptick in Hurricane activity in my area...I've been seriously considering moving, but anywhere you go will have their own unique severe weather to deal with......I guess we go with the Devil we know!!

There is a new thing called “half backs” whereas people who moved from the North to Florida and now moving farther north or “half way back” to places like the Carolinas to avoid the extreme weather and the majority of Hurricanes. The gulf, with mid-gulf temps reaching 84 now , and the Bahamas with temps getting above 90 will be regular tropical storm accelerators every year from here on out. Just look at the shear # of months of red algae off Western Florida and how Seaweed blooms are getting to be above their peak norms even during off seasons in the whole Atlantic Caribbean.

  3. The whole “try to sell the highest priced PSLs first” is logical. First they don’t really know what their take rate will be on the PSLs and based on everything I am hearing about the Buffalo market is that they are likely going to get am much lower take rate than in other cities. This means they will be looking at the take rate from each tier and may actually adjust the other tiers downward as needed. For instance they are offering the visitor sideline before the home sideline. I would guess if they get a crappy take rate in the visitor sideline that their likely intent to add say 25% to the home sideline might have to shift downward just so they can get a number of takers they want.

  4. Too many fan takes here have 3 basic premises:

1)OMG we didn’t double dip in the low rounds, Beane sucks

Reality: he has a plan for a vet and no he didn’t think the 10th best draftable WR was better than Cortland Sutton

    2) KC would be drafting Offense.

Reality: KC used 5 of their 7 picks last year in defense.

    3) I watched 2 highlight videos and now I can tell you who our picks should be.

Reality: this is why mock drafts never pan out because you aren’t a scout. As an aside you also do you know if the guy is not bright, which is what it appears the scouts were saying about guys like AD Mitchell.

    Good player...good pick...and a need.

Now, maybe we can get Franklin by trading up early in 3rd with our 3rd and maybe some of our day 3 picks?

    I don't know.

Our 5th round values would require basically 3 extra picks to go way up. I figure 2 5th rounders will be used to get a 4th pick and I figure bears since they run out of picks soon.

  6. All 4 key round 1 graded WRs will be gone by 14-17. So we may not go round 1 WR, when guys like Legette may go the mid to end round of 2.

i personally want a top WR, so I would push to trade up using either our 2025 2nd or just trading Dawson Knox as part of the round pick swap.

Beane has plenty of options at safety/corner, including Simmons and Blackmon after June 1 with the Tre White savings. Could be a decent safety available in the second round, too.

No, I think Beane will draft a pass rusher then trade up in the second to nab a WR he likes, using a fourth-round pick. Then depth picks for DB and OL.

They will draft BPA as first criteria and then need second as always l, while l quite possibly will trade out of the first. All 4 key round 1 graded WRs will be gone by 14-17.

  8. PSLs are as good as stocks when the team is winning. In some future date, when you sell your seats, you will recoup the PSL from that buyer plus a premium.

The modern NFL charges these everywhere including in the other blue collar towns. I think people forget that a season ticket for the Sabres 100 level is $8000+ per ticket so when the cheaper PSLs $s come out around or lower than that, it’s relatively cheap.

  9. This puts a sad light on his wacky retirement game. It’s stepped around as cause of death, but it seems like he may have committed suicide. I feel bad if he had some serious mental health issues yet we have been making of fun of him all these years for that weird halftime retirement.
