His Defense has allowed the Chiefs to score their lost points on every Postseason they've played. No need to cherry pick. Josh Allen gives you a top 5 Offense. Teams know they have to score and start playing riskier which is why against average to below average teams our Defense feasts and then against elite Offenses they look lost. I didn't listen to the interview but if people are suggesting that because Allen is elite that the focus should be on the Defense then you are entirely wrong. The Bills have spent numerous picks on Defense that have resulted in the lackluster Defense the Bills have now. If you focus on the Offense and make your strength stronger you can create an unstoppable Offense with Allen. I look at the Chiefs with Hill/Kelce and just their ability to score 30+ in every playoff game and put pressure on their opponents Offense to keep up. During the regular season this happens but when the playoffs come you saw an Offense that struggled against the Ravens and had a chance to go up 2 scores late against the Chiefs and failed. The Bills Offense needs to be an elite WR that allows Allen to utilize his other targets and legs. Instead teams can go man and spy Allen and focus on stopping the run game.

Elam felt like the only CB McDermott didn't get maximum utilization for. Giving McDermott a player with that type of elite speed I trust him to coach him up.

They have money and a 5th rounder isn't a lot to give up. Not to mention they can play Deebo outside and allow McLauren to play inside. Their Offense was already tough to stop.

Garrett is better in just about every way. Even when he declines he'll be better than Crosby. DE is the most important need for McDermott's Defense and he's the best in the league right now

I thought the Eagles were going to win the Superbowl when the playoffs started. I've watched a lot of their game and they were the better team in every game except the Ravens game. Their Defense is just so good.
