  1. The past few years even during some good stretches they were negative. However, they were always proved right. Idk if it Buffalo is truely good or they had just severly low expectations Buffalos play seems better than it is. Either Buffalo seems to have found a winning formula.

  2. Back up running backs are a dime a dozen. Wont be surprised to see jones get a few touches. His speed adds a dimension. Baynard could be serviceable if needed. If something happens with Mccoy they can find a guy on the street or on a practice squad that could be as or more productive than Williams would have been,

  3. It is very simple. Taylor should be our QB until someone comes along and plays better. Not has more potential, not has a better contract, simply a better pro QB. Competition breads greatness. Alex Smith made 2 significant leaps in play in his career. When Kaepernick looked like a legit threat, and so far this year when they drafted Mahomes who has a cannon and will throw it all over the field. I dont think it is a coincidence that he has had his most success throwing down the filed the year Reid found him a QB he traded up 20 spots for. If Taylor continues to play the way he has maybe an early QB draft choice will spurn a change in Taylor.

  4. Too soon to tell. More data is needed. This style of play has produced wild card teams, but he's correct in that few have been serious contenders. Many comparisons just don't quite fit. The Chiefs for example have far more offensive firepower than the Bills do. And don't confuse " impossible " to sustain with unlikely. Takeaways can be fleeting and dry up for stretches at a time. The close to the vest offense will limit turnovers, but the lack of weapons limits opportunities. It stands to reason that the Offense will need to do more in the next few months to produce wins. It's just too soon to tell. Another road win in week 5 will bey key if the Bills are to punch their first playoff ticket since the millenium.

Style is one thing. The SEA and DEN Super Bowl defenses had a lot more talent on them. No legion of boom here.

Not saying it is. However, top defense with ball control run heavy offense is what has won since forever. Even now. Talent and name recognition is one thing If Buffalo maintains have a top 5 defense its a mute point. Top 5 defense and a ball control offense that can make a handful of big plays is sustainable winning football. KC, Seattle, Denver, Carolina, all have been doing it for a few years now. Before the nicknames, No fly zone, Legion of Boom they were solid units.

  5. If Tthorton beats out Darues any chance they trade him after the game? Parlay him into picks or picks and a wr? It seems Daures is the last guy to get on the "Bus". With his loads of potential I think Mcdermott is being more patient with him because of his massive deal as well. Could they find a trade partner mid-season? Would anyone take on that contract? I think if Thorton takes his job he needs to go.

  6. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens with the raiders in Vegas. It amazes me when you build a product as huge as the NFL, and then go moving teams to different cities. Like duh, part of the reason the NFL is so huge is because of where the teams play. Just because Los Angeles didn't have an NFL team, doesn't mean they needed one, let alone two

If the Raiders are playing well when they get to LV they will get supported. I dont think a team can fit a city like the Raiders and Las Vegas they go together. And sure they will fill the stadium even if its with help from other teams.

  7. There are many factors. Imo this past weekend they gained some national attention. They lost 2 starters in the process. Cinncy is better than their record indicates. On the road Vegas has them dogs for a reason. It is 100% a possible let down/ trap game. Now did Buffalo prepare any less vs Cincy than they did for Denver or ATL? Probably not, so its more a trap game for fans, ot taking the bengals lightly im sure the team is not.

  8. The toughest games are NE and KC. If they go into the Bye 4-1 they will be favored in 7 or 8 of the final 11 games. Imo the Schedule is not that difficult the rest of the way. If they remain relatively healthy there is a strong possibility they push into a playoff spot. Oak may not have Carr, Jamies Winston is not the same QB on the road, NO defense can be run on, Jets and Miami are going to get worst as the season carries on, and the Chargers are going to be in contention for the worst record in the league.

  9. Seems he struggles in more exotic schemes. Same thing happened here. Ive never like guys who have players run through their zones unnoticed and when the ball is thrown looks back inside at the saftey. He did that 5 times last year. Now he is doing that in NE.

  10. If he didnt want to be here after a week why welcome him back? Because, we look good now? He was not the player he was. He struggled to get open in preseason I say no. I think Philly Brown can do enough and sure handed enough to minimize the loss of Matthews. To me the Wr group for the next month comes down to is Buffalo able to get Zay Jones some confidence. We do that he could be our #1 real quick. The reason for my optimism is the simple fact that a rookie Wr normally struggles with separation. So far that has not been the case. He is a natural catcher so Imo it will only a matter of time.

  11. Its the NFL every game is important. Seems like its easy to say this is the most important game of the year this week, every week. Imo this is more crucial than winning in ATL. I thought winning at ATL would be the best win for some national recognition but conference road games are much more important for seeding and standing purposes at the end of the year. The Bengals have a good amount of weapons. There weakness has been their O line. They have a stingy defense as well. Zay is going to have to make a few plays down the field for the Bills to win. He is getting open a good amount but this week he needs to make the big plays that Matthews has been good for this year.
