  1. The thing that is so frustrating about these conversations is that to forced birth crowd just resorts to strawmen arguments as opposed to actually advocating for things that would fix the problem they proclaim to care about. It's how you know they don't really care and stopping abortions isn't really the goal.
  2. Sad how you are intent on showing us what Dunning-Krueger looks like in real life.
  3. You are an unserious person unwilling to do an iota of work to support your arguments (which are based on falsehoods). Case in point.
  4. Respectfully, I’m not sure I could disagree more. Unregulated markets almost always devolve into scams. We can argue about the appropriate level and types of regulations on markets, but markets with no oversight end up just preying on people who don’t realize they are being conned. 20 years from now, we will look at crypto the same way we currently look at Beanie Babies.
  5. Nah, my point is that you can't or won't identify the top cause of elective abortions in the US. As much as it would upset people on the far Left, I agree with the statement that abortions should be safe, legal, and rare. To that effect, I would support policies that actually reduced the number of abortions. To do that, you need to look to why people are actually having abortions. That's not something the forced birth crowd does, because actually preventing abortions isn't what they want.
  6. Thank you for proving my point. Continue advocating for positions that have zero chance of creating the effects that you desire.
  7. The number one cause of death for pregnant women: homicide. 0-1. But let's give you another chance, what is the number one reason US women give for having an abortion?
  8. Because those aren't the root causes. There are literally studies on this. Here's a fun question for you: What is the number one cause of death for pregnant women?
  9. It's incredibly how hard the forced birth crowd refuses to look at the root causes of abortion. It's almost as if this is a cynical ploy by the politicians to activate emotions rather than actually solve a problem...
  10. I am honestly having a hard time figuring out if this is a parody or if Elon is actually announcing a new feature that would have been completely unnecessary before he broke verification.
  11. She’s jumping the gun a bit but, yes, the CHIPS Act will mean that we will produce more computer chips domestically so we are not reliant on foreign supplies.
  12. And what is the other 50%?
  13. The GOP’s policies are designed to benefit the rich and corporations. The fact that some rich people prefer the Dems doesn’t change that.
  14. Anyone out there saying that no rich people are Democrats?
  15. It’s a term made up by people who have no idea what they are talking about but want to pretend to be smart.
  16. That should fix it. I expect advertisers to come flocking back after this.
  17. I already suggested that you should do a root cause analysis. It’ll explain what’s going on. Or you can just be out here displaying your ignorance for all to see. Whichever works best for you, I suppose.
  18. So, not banning abortion at all, got it.
  19. Because one of the main drivers of elective abortions is unwanted pregnancies. PP can provide contraceptives and other healthcare to areas that typically lack access. This helps people avoid situations that lead to unwanted pregnancies and abortions.
  20. I don’t understand why this is relevant to basically anything other than the fact that crypto has always been a big ponzi scheme. His partner was one of the largest GOP donors, but so what?
  21. No, I think you have it wrong. It’s “facts don’t care about your feelings unless the facts don’t support me in which case everything is fake and there’s a grand conspiracy against me”
  22. That’s sorta my point. In 2016, many Dems were shocked that people would vote for Trump, someone they saw as completely unfit for the job with terrible ideas. Now, in an election set up as a slam dunk for the GOP, the people have rejected the Republican Party. Might be worth trying to see things from their perspective just to see where they are coming from.
  23. If this is what you truly believe, now might be a good time to step out of your bubble.
