Then Cardinals are overtaking the Texans as the worst run NFL franchise followed closely by the Browns and the Jests and no we cant afford it unless he wants to come ridiculously cheap..
So what you're saying is that DHop is a cancer who destroyed both the Texans and Cardinals. Go ahead, sign with the Jets then lol.

11-6
We shutout charges 36-0
Allen PassTds/Int 36/5
Loss to Vegas, NE, Phi, KC, NYG and Dal
Allen doing All Pro numbers like 36/5 would most likely result in more than 11 wins. I could see losses vs Phi and KC, but not all of the others maybe 2 of 4 for 13-4.

I was also a fan of the Football Team name. Felt old school and subversively unique.

There's already a professional football team called that. There's been two, at once...

The most surprising result is that there are 4 people predicting Bates would start at RT, rather than his arguably more valuable position of 3-position backup. Misclicks?
Also Beane didn't draft Torrence (a single-position lineman and #1 guard in the draft) to NOT start.

IF Von can play golf NOW? HE should be good to go with his knee week 1. Seriously. 5/17/23 you are cleared for golf. week one is 9/11/23 That is 4 months from now. about. He did not have as severe of an injury Tre had.
I bet you were one of the people to say that if AB could do jumping jacks as he quit midgame, then he wasn't too injured to play football. Despite every actual doctor disagreeing.

As much as I've complained about not being able to get NFL streaming things in Canada, the silver lining is I generally don't have to worry about exclusives since the broadcasting agreements end at the border. I've always been able to watch the "exclusive" games on regular cable channels here (at my friend's house).

FWIW- We beat the Raiders in LV during the covid year.
Ah yes I remember being irate at the lack of punishment for them, having what seemed like half their team at a maskless and crowded event in clear violation of league rules. Almost as bad as the Titans with their secret off base practices.

Man...I was such a big Favre fan in the day, it's sad to see what he's done with his life. I hope justice prevails and he leaves the public consciousness for the forseeable future.
22 hours ago, C.Biscuit97 said:Totally agree. One of my favorite players ever but he has become a joke. Sad part is despite all the shadiness, 🍆 (probably not that big of the rumors are truth), pull popping, he’d win public office because it’s Mississippi. He should blame cte at this point.
Yeah I was somewhat a fan of the "gunslingers" in my younger years, and he certainly fit that bit as well or better than anyone. But as they say, never meet your heroes...

With regard to the pill popping, that is something I admired him for.
The over-prescription of opioids is obviously one of the biggest problems plaguing our country.
He had the balls to tell the world that it was becoming a personal problem and he was taking time to address it.
That said, the guy is still a complete douche.
But not for that.
One of the few things I can respect him for. Some may forget we have a popular guy on our roster right now who is hailed for overcoming his own addiction issues, so to slam Favre for it would be hypocritical. I've found myself to be fairly immune to chemical dependency (even specifically tested it), but I was hesitant to accept a prescription for opioid painkillers for my kidney stone situation (which were covered under my drug plan) when the Toradol prescribed wasn't covered by my drug plan.

they're gonna do that with joey porter jr too.
I haven't seen nearly as much "automatic DPOY" chatter for him as there was for Sauce around the draft.

Don't worry, he'll go back into hibernation soon enough. This spurt of recent activity from him after less than 150 total posts in 14 years is probably rough on him.

We already got ripped for drafting Kincaid when we "already have Knox". Imagine the crap storm when we pick up a THIRD starting quality TE.
Also ZE isn't anywhere close to DK, throws the naming scheme all off for the DK Crew.
-
Jets got the benefit of the refs letting Sauce get away with murder because the league wanted him to be a star. Hopefully the novelty of the "rookie phenom" has worn off and they actually start calling penalties on him.

Lol the article the rumor is from even admits it's probably BS.

I love it. We find out right off the bat, if the balance of power has shifted in the AFC East.
Are you kidding me, week 1 is the dirtiest of liars littered with flukes every year. We lost to an objectively bad Steelers team week 1, the same week a team got their only win of the season.

Diggs belongs no-where near #4.
I like the guy, but he is no-where near a top 5 NFL player.
Could easily argue top 5 WR, but way too many future 1st ballot HoFers like Mahomes, Kelce, and Donald (plus dominant OL I don't know the names of) to sniff top 5 overall.

So…. Lunch pal to work kind of guy that was undrafted and likes to work on special teams. Got it. Doesn’t sound like another Kumerow to me at all. Look for about 12 catches on the season for him. But probably 14 ST tackles.
With 10 of those catches coming from 2 games against teams that bizarrely refuse to cover him, getting more and more surprised each time he is targeted. Kind of like how McKenzie just goes off and torches random teams while doing nothing the rest of the month.

LOL what?Below is a data for late round picks who become regular starters. Doesn’t specify if they are good starters…just starters. This is a 10 year period.
As you can see, the odds a severely stacked against 5th-7th round picks to start…. even make the team. The reason GM’s get credit for finding a late round gem is because they beat overwhelming odds. The reason its not criticized is because the vast majority of the times they don’t start so its the norm.
5th Round - TE (32%) DB (17%) WR (16%) OL (16%) DL (13%) RB (9%) LB (4%) QB (0%)
6th Round - TE (26%) OL (16%) DL (13%) WR (9%) DB (8%) RB (6%) LB (5%) QB (0%)
7th Round - DB (11%) OL (9%) QB (6%) WR (5%) DL (3%) LB (2%) RB (0%) TE (0%)
So what I'm seeing is rounds 5/6 is a sweet spot to fish for TEs heh.

I'll bet $5 you were one of the first to call Shorter a "reach" in the 5th round.

More like common sense. No one really believed she told people at the party she was 17, especially after the video came to light, so that meant statutory rape was off the table. And that made her claim that Araiza later participated in a gang rape, which was similarly unbelievable, worthless until proven otherwise. I suspected there was evidence he left via geolocation of his phone, which we found out about recently, but I never expected there to be video of it as well.
The people hammering the point about statutory rape are going on like she was a 14 year old at a party with 30 year olds. An objectively very promiscuous 17 year old at a party of 18-21 year olds is hardly the same thing. My niece is 13 but passes for 18 with some makeup and her taller stature, so I don't blame the horned up young men at the party for being young and inexperienced enough to not bat an eye when a 17 year old claims to be 18.
Sure, a super aggressive young woman claiming to be exactly legal age SHOULD be a huge red flag, but that's easy for us learned old men to say long after our stupid younger years.

I love Occam's Razor, "Entities must not be multiplied beyond necessity" you always get a close shave.
And jumping from "she experienced some form of physical roughness" to "she was raped" definitely qualifies as unnecessary multiplication, considering all the available evidence. When the evidence shows her preemptively insulting men who wouldn't have sex with her, boasting about racking up a body count, and engaging in only consensual sex, the answer that requires the fewest assumptions for the roughness received is "was into rough sex".

Go to hell.
Still thinking she was the victim? Sorry not sorry, but going to random guys saying "I want you to **** me, and if you don't **** me you're a *****" and boasting about an impending spike in her "body count" just rings of someone who is sexually aggressive. Plus the videos of the naughty times supposedly appeared to be wholly consensual, so yeah, Occam's Razor = being a willing participant in whatever roughness she encountered.

So you have us losing to every good team, and every road division game aside from the Pats, but then going on to win the Super Bowl? How do we win 4 straight playoff games after losing to every tough opponent in the regular season?
