  1. years ago when jgordon came into nascar all the old school nascar fans which i don't understand automatically hated the player. cause he took over the sport and dominated it... period... now he's back in it and the hate comes back out for the guy. gordon IS and i'm not a fan of him the best driver on the circuit. and the only one capable besides stewart of steppping up into the next level cart or f1. why the hate towards gordon? is it cause he speaks clearly and doesn't sound like someone who owns a hog farm in the carolina's?
  2. bristol... have you seen the size of the track? anyways you're right. but you could make a case for any winner on that track to bump and win. it's impossible almost not to on that track. can you name another track where gorgon ever pushed someone out of the way to win? cause that's only one i can remember.
  3. i'm not a jgordon fan at all. but, and argue this all you want the points rule is set up so the drakar noir-nascar poster boy had a shot at the championship. otherwise gordon woul've ran away with another one.
  4. hey coughlin is 3-1 isn't he? thats who i wanted... and the giants have way less talent than the bills imo right now.
  5. huh? bf is actually right on this one darin. dale jr. IS at times very reckless and this guy is going to get someone killed out there cause he's a dirty driver. much like his dad was. gordon on the other hand will race you clean for an entire race with out touching you at all. gordon really doesn't whine all that much.. if anyone whines it's either ROBBY gordon or rusty wallace. besides jr. deserves this fine and point deduction nnascar made the right move for sure. the guy is an idiot hillbilly who needs to get his point across with out swearing on national television like a civilized person.
  6. why is this here?
  7. thats bs i'm on the east coast and i say bench his ass too!
  8. agreed, mistakes not just being turnovers either. dropped passes, missed assignments, blitz pick up, false starts, staying in lanes, ect. ect.. bottom line is the fewer little mistakes that are made against the pats the more of a shot you have to actually stay in the game. due to the fact that they usually always capitalize on the other teams mistakes.
  9. right but, this team will not go 9-7 or 10-6 if they lose this game tomorrow. if we went 9-7 with a loss tomorrow we would have to go 9-4 the rest of the year. i'm sorry i just don't see it happening without the momentum from a big win against the pats. this is the game that makes or breaks our year folks.
  10. Alrighty, Sunday is almost here and the Bills face their bigggest challenge of the year. Tommy and the Pats come to town and this could be just the win we need to start our own streak. With that said it would be just as sweet to know that the Bills ended the Patriots streak as well. This IS the biggest game that I can remember in the past couple years which means so very much to the teams confidence levels. Throw away the last two games our season hopefully gets on track tomorrow at 1 pm at the Ralph. Match ups when we have the ball oline vs. dline (pats) rb's vs. linebackers (pats) wr's vs. secondary (bills) te's vs. secondary and linebackers (pats) bledsoe vs. secondary (pats) when they have the ball oline vs. dline (push) rb's vs. linebackers (bills) wr's vs. secondary (bills) te's vs. secondary and linebackers (push) brady vs. secondary (pats) Agree or disagree? Anyways the keys to this game are pretty much cut and dry imo. When we have the ball there is obviously a weakness in the Pats defense that was exposed in the Indianapolis game. The middle of their dline. Which was exposed all the way pretty much up till half time until Wilfork was brought into the game in place of Traylor. We have to run early in the game and often to be effective. This will bring more people up in the "box" which will eventually set up the pass for Bledsoe. And when we do start passing the ball the oline and Drew have to be sharp by picking up blitzes and audibling at the line on the read. For some reason I believe Bellichek is going to bring a huge amount of blitzers in to try to rattle Drew early on. The line has to hold effectlively and Drew must take advantage of this by either finding a one on one match up or dumping the ball off to a rb or a te. Lastly red zone scoring has to be capitalized time after time to keep the Pats down. With the time of possesion in favor of the Bills and limiting Brady on the field I feel we can be VERY effective as long as we control the clock. When the Pats have the ball the biggest thing that the Bills can have on their side tomorrow is the 12th man. This will make it hard for Brady to change the plays at the line if the fans are into it. In the last 10 games on the Pats first poss. they have scored on EVERY opening drive. This has to be stopped in this game to try and eliminate their confidence. On one hand, shutting down their running game is key right away. But on the other what if they don't pass on the first drive at all like they did with the Colts? I really don't see them doing this effectively against the Bills. Dillion will be a major factor when he runs outside tackles. Due to the inexperience of Kelsay and Denney. Schobel will be attacked and tested frequently as well but with support of our linebackers it will force Brady to throw. Which brings me to the secondary vs. Brady and his targets. This could very well make or break the game imo. Not because of the Pats wr's, but the perfect patterns and routes they run on a game to game basis. This is one of the things that makes Brady so great besides being sooo accurate he could sit back there all day and pick us apart play by play. lets hope not. He just has the nack to stay so cool in the pocket and finds the open man whether it is rb, te or a wr. Blitzing him isn't always a good thing to try to do cause he'll make you pay huge. Our dline has to play HUGE in this game. If they do it might create turnovers which the Pats barely have done over the past two years. The linebackers have to be able to wander a little in this game and make plays, if there. I think that a man defense gives us the best opportunity to win this battle in this game. Zone against Brady really does scare me. Bellichek had an interesting comment earlier in the week stating that our special teams play looks extremely solid this year. And it does. This again could be a gamebreaker for us. Our returning looks great but our coverage on kickoffs and punts looks superb. This game is going to be on one or two big plays or a turnover so I feel that the least mistakes and turns overs wins this game. It will be closer than most of you think. Remember division games are usually close no matter what the record with exception to last year's Bills vs. Pats series. go bills Just a side note. If the bills lose this game I really think the playoffs are out of the question at this point. The Bills will not bounce back if we go 0-3 to start off the year. THIS IS A MUST WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. 27 years ago today i was 14 days old sooooo... my prayers are with you.
  12. alright i'll take a stab at this. it sounds like it's bledsoe's fault because he didn't read or see the blitz coming OR whoever woodson was on (moulds or reed) for not running a hot route to help bledsoe get rid of the ball via quick target. or sometimes i've even seen one of the interior lineman shift across from the inside to p/u the blitz. probably the receivers fault on that one. plus not to mention if it is apparent to the receiver that a cb is blitzing they should chip the cb at the line. so yeah that was the wr's fault on that one.
  13. has anyone mentioned the fact that when the marlins were on the field for our national anthem the canadian people almost booooed them right off the field? and when the expos took the field for their national anthem they had beer bottles and golf ball thrown at them? that just blows my mind i can't belive those fans. would this happen EVER in the u.s.? who knows..... to me this is one of the hugest insults to us americans and to people who have fought in this country. i know all canadians don't hate us but to the rest of you rubbernecks.... :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: and to add to that their team sucked anyways due to the stevestojantty management. so it will be no loss to the mlb in anyway at all. it's america's past time anyways.
  14. ya know it's possible. as much dislike drew this team is starving for victory. for me it's not about drew and the oline. it's about seeing this team come together and put an ass whooping on the pats. i picked the jags and the faiders to beat the bills. but this week i'm picking the bills. i don't think there is going to be a huge point differential but, thius game will be won or lost with the team that has the fewest mental mistakes.
  15. you can add rick riley to that list.
  16. yes drew is done. last year done. great post ice couldn't agree with you more on all your points, except for the moulds one.
  17. yeah he can always HIT in the numbers NEVER LOW..
  18. sounds great now all we need is a qb who can throw an accurate short pass. by the way i'm a firm beliver that the best players should be on the field as much as possible. the only problem with a 4 receiver set is that it will take the te out of the equation which isn't always good especially with all the problems we have with our offense. unless you go with out an empty backfield. or that would leave henry or willis in the backfield to pick up potential blitzers. however it could create mismatches with our wr's vs. other teams db's depending on the team. i guess it all depends on if drew is hesitent or if the line actually shows up. so against a good blitzing team with a good secondary i would say no. but to just throw it in the mix once in awhile i would say sure why not.
  19. Disagree however i do belive williams is overpaid for the job he is doing and has done. sooooo the nemero uno problemo on this team is the year extension they gave to drew, followed by the money and the play by mike williams. not to mention the hole at left gaurd and center. teague really hasn't looked bad this year but he'd be alot better at his natural position. should've cut ties with drew......... and picked up warner or garcia. theres your problem in a nutshell.
  20. Holy stevestojan I'm impressed!
  21. actually sounds kinda childish to me, imo. i give ya credit for posting here still. change the poop filter back you bunch of bullies thats not cool.
