I think Shavers is the better athlete. Gabe loses focus too many times. Multiple times he was not on the same page as Allen, it was talked about on WGR today. We all know he has consistent bad drops. He obviously isn’t doing enough to get open because he had multiple zero burgers in the second half of 2023. Let go after one year in Jax. Why are we to assume Davis is a better option than Shavers? Davis’s career is trending down right now.

The term "arm and a leg" came from the Victorian era. When artists would paint you, they charged more for painting more. Many people would just have an artist paint them from the shoulders up for cost reasons. If you wanted a full portrait with all your limbs, it costs more....so it costs "an arm and a leg."

You have to earn more time on the field. You don't just put a player out there just because he's a 2nd round pick. McDermott plays a lot young guys, he's basically giving him the spot and Bishop isn't holding onto it.

I think Davis is proof of under production. He was our #2, signed a decent sized deal to be cut later by the Jags after one season. I don't think you see much of a difference between Davis and Shavers....Shavers will be much cheaper.

Yes, I remember the 14 game schedule we had for all those years. 2 games a year were automatic losses to NE so we had to figure out how to get 9 wins for the rest of the 14 games remaining.
